the_o land_n the_o one_o in_o not_o afford_v our_o distress_a brethren_n that_o comfort_n for_o the_o support_n of_o this_o life_n which_o in_o their_o case_n we_o will_v desire_v the_o other_o in_o procure_v their_o undo_n or_o grievous_a loss_n by_o our_o greedy_a desire_n of_o enlarge_a our_o own_o estate_n advance_v ourselves_o or_o increase_v our_o wealth_n and_o commodity_n for_o the_o first_o none_o of_o we_o can_v be_v ignorant_a how_o in_o ofttimes_o sometime_o the_o famine_n ofttimes_o nay_o always_o for_o this_o seven_o or_o eight_o year_n past_a the_o plague_n of_o pestilence_n have_v rage_v one_o where_o or_o other_o throughout_o the_o land_n the_o grievousness_n of_o that_o malady_n albeit_o we_o know_v not_o full_o yet_o that_o we_o know_v it_o in_o some_o sort_n and_o esteem_v of_o it_o as_o a_o grievous_a malady_n a_o plague_n indeed_o send_v from_o god_n our_o fear_n of_o it_o when_o it_o be_v near_o unto_o we_o do_v sufficient_o witness_v and_o comfort_n i_o say_v either_o bodily_a to_o case_v the_o pain_n by_o lenitive_n or_o to_o prevent_v the_o last_o danger_n of_o it_o by_o physic_n and_o good_a diet._n or_o if_o in_o these_o we_o can_v have_v no_o hope_n the_o less_o we_o have_v in_o they_o the_o more_o desirous_a will_v we_o be_v of_o spiritual_a comfort_n under_o the_o wing_n of_o the_o almighty_a the_o less_o help_n art_n or_o nature_n or_o man_n themselves_o can_v afford_v we_o the_o more_o earnest_o will_v we_o desire_v hearty_a prayer_n for_o succour_n and_o comfort_n from_o the_o almighty_a it_o will_v much_o strengthen_v our_o faith_n and_o hope_n to_o know_v that_o other_o do_v join_v with_o we_o in_o fervent_a prayer_n for_o mercy_n and_o it_o will_v much_o lessen_v our_o bodily_a grief_n and_o discontent_n of_o mind_n to_o know_v that_o they_o do_v bear_v a_o part_n with_o we_o it_o will_v abate_v our_o sorrow_n to_o know_v that_o they_o do_v abate_v their_o wont_a mirth_n and_o jollity_n as_o in_o compassion_n to_o we_o the_o say_v be_v most_o true_a solamen_fw-la miseris_fw-la socios_fw-la habuisse_fw-la doloris_fw-la but_o the_o solace_n be_v most_o comfortable_a when_o man_n do_v willing_o and_o not_o by_o constraint_n share_v with_o we_o in_o our_o misery_n for_o than_o they_o take_v as_o it_o be_v part_n of_o our_o burden_n from_o we_o and_o put_v it_o upon_o their_o own_o shoulder_n so_o as_o that_o which_o be_v most_o heavy_a and_o grievous_a whilst_o it_o be_v only_o lay_v upon_o one_o or_o some_o few_o become_v very_o light_a and_o easy_a when_o it_o be_v divide_v and_o lay_v upon_o many_o willing_a to_o communicate_v in_o the_o burden_n these_o and_o many_o like_a but_o more_o effectual_a argument_n all_o of_o we_o can_v plead_v for_o ourselves_o if_o we_o be_v in_o this_o or_o any_o other_o kind_n of_o misery_n but_o who_o be_v he_o of_o a_o thousand_o that_o will_v lay_v half_a of_o this_o to_o heart_n when_o sorrow_n lie_v heavy_a upon_o his_o poor_a distress_a brethren_n i_o know_v not_o how_o man_n in_o this_o place_n be_v affect_v but_o elsewhere_o for_o the_o most_o part_n if_o they_o be_v so_o mindful_a of_o their_o distress_a brethren_n as_o to_o relieve_v their_o want_n and_o furnish_v they_o with_o the_o necessary_n of_o this_o life_n they_o think_v it_o almost_o a_o work_n of_o super-erogation_a and_o if_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v commend_v for_o it_o at_o first_o they_o will_v be_v more_o slack_a to_o do_v the_o like_a again_o but_o that_o they_o shall_v afflict_v or_o pinch_v themselves_o for_o other_o penury_n that_o they_o
