of_o be_v purge_v by_o fire_n and_o according_o that_o they_o be_v detain_v a_o long_a or_o short_a time_n as_o their_o debt_n of_o temporary_a punishment_n be_v great_a or_o less_o and_o indeed_o they_o have_v a_o very_a considerable_a and_o substantial_a reason_n to_o exempt_a as_o few_o as_o possible_o they_o can_v from_o go_v to_o purgatory_n because_o the_o more_o they_o put_v in_o fear_n of_o go_v thither_o the_o market_n of_o indulgence_n rise_v the_o high_a and_o the_o profit_n thence_o accrue_v to_o the_o pope_n coffer_n and_o the_o more_o and_o great_a legacy_n will_v be_v leave_v to_o the_o priest_n to_o hire_v their_o say_n of_o mass_n for_o the_o delivery_n of_o soul_n out_o of_o the_o place_n of_o torment_n for_o though_o the_o prayer_n of_o friend_n and_o relation_n will_v contribute_v something_o to_o this_o yet_o nothing_o do_v the_o business_n so_o effectual_o as_o the_o mass_n and_o prayer_n of_o priest_n to_o that_o end_n but_o how_o be_v it_o then_o that_o st._n john_n say_v that_o those_o that_o die_v in_o the_o lord_n be_v happy_a because_o they_o rest_v from_o their_o labour_n if_o so_o be_v the_o far_o great_a part_n of_o those_o who_o die_v in_o the_o lord_n be_v so_o far_o from_o rest_v from_o their_o labour_n that_o they_o enter_v into_o far_o great_a pain_n and_o torment_n than_o ever_o they_o endure_v in_o this_o world_n and_o therefore_o bellarmine_n that_o their_o doctrine_n of_o purgatory_n may_v receve_v no_o prejudice_n from_o this_o text_n will_v have_v from_o henceforth_o in_o the_o text_n to_o be_v date_v from_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n when_o he_o suppose_v the_o pain_n of_o purgatory_n will_v be_v at_o a_o end_n but_o why_o from_o henceforth_o shall_v take_v date_n from_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n he_o can_v give_v no_o reason_n but_o only_o to_o save_v purgatory_n from_o be_v condemn_v by_o this_o text._n for_o st._n john_n plain_o speak_v of_o the_o happiness_n of_o those_o that_o shall_v die_v after_o that_o time_n whatever_o it_o be_v which_o he_o there_o describe_v but_o that_o time_n can_v be_v the_o day_n of_o judgement_n because_o none_o shall_v die_v after_o that_o time_n just_o thus_o
