enemy_n have_v the_o victory_n over_o i_o and_o i_o make_v no_o great_a reckon_n of_o other_o enemy_n triumph_v alas_o i_o know_v that_o worldly_a enemy_n can_v never_o triumph_v over_o i_o if_o spiritual_a enemy_n get_v not_o first_o the_o victory_n and_o now_o o_o my_o soul_n if_o god_n have_v do_v this_o for_o i_o have_v lift_v i_o up_o above_o these_o enemy_n above_o these_o enemy_n of_o both_o kind_n have_v i_o not_o a_o double_a cause_n to_o extol_v he_o for_o it_o and_o to_o praise_v his_o name_n and_o yet_o i_o may_v say_v i_o extol_v he_o not_o more_o for_o do_v it_o then_o for_o his_o readiness_n of_o do_v it_o for_o i_o cry_v unto_o he_o and_o he_o heal_v i_o i_o no_o soon_o cry_v but_o he_o hear_v i_o he_o no_o soon_o hear_v i_o but_o he_o heal_v i_o my_o suit_n be_v no_o soon_o make_v then_o grant_v my_o disease_n as_o soon_o cure_v as_o discover_v he_o keep_v i_o not_o languish_v by_o draw_v out_o his_o cure_n in_o length_n but_o he_o apply_v a_o present_a remedy_n david_n soul_n lie_v a_o long_a time_n alas_o the_o short_a time_n in_o this_o case_n be_v long_o till_o god_n by_o his_o quicken_a spirit_n restore_v he_o again_o to_o the_o life_n of_o grace_n when_o in_o the_o spiritual_a life_n they_o be_v dead_a and_o bury_v yet_o so_o long_o as_o they_o lie_v not_o bury_v above_o four_o day_n so_o long_o as_o they_o continue_v not_o in_o sin_n so_o long_o till_o it_o have_v bring_v the_o soul_n into_o a_o absolute_a corruption_n there_o be_v example_n in_o lazarus_n and_o where_o there_o be_v example_n there_o be_v hope_n they_o may_v be_v and_o permanent_a in_o god_n it_o be_v but_o force_v upon_o he_o by_o the_o violence_n of_o sin_n and_o as_o force_v as_o it_o be_v it_o stay_v not_o with_o he_o it_o be_v but_o as_o a_o wind_n that_o distemper_v with_o violence_n of_o passion_n for_o alas_o what_o good_a be_v it_o to_o have_v still_o water_n and_o turbulent_a spirit_n he_o restore_v it_o indeed_o to_o life_n that_o be_v grow_v before_o in_o a_o manner_n quite_o dead_a and_o who_o can_v restore_v my_o soul_n to_o life_n but_o he_o only_o that_o be_v the_o good_a shepherd_n and_o give_v his_o life_n for_o his_o sheep_n which_o no_o shepherd_n ever_o do_v but_o he_o saint_n peter_n lay_v down_o his_o life_n but_o he_o give_v not_o his_o life_n for_o he_o will_v perhaps_o have_v keep_v it_o if_o he_o may_v and_o he_o lay_v it_o not_o down_o neither_o as_o a_o shepherd_n for_o his_o sheep_n but_o as_o a_o sheep_n rather_o for_o his_o shepherd_n but_o this_o shepherd_n give_v his_o life_n for_o his_o sheep_n give_v it_o quia_fw-la oportuit_fw-la indeed_o because_o it_o be_v necessary_a he_o shall_v give_v it_o but_o yet_o quia_fw-la voluit_fw-la too_o because_o he_o will_v give_v it_o for_o if_o it_o have_v not_o be_v voluntary_a it_o can_v not_o have_v be_v acceptable_a and_o if_o not_o acceptable_a never_o certain_o have_v serve_v for_o a_o ransom_n and_o if_o not_o ransom_v no_o restore_a but_o be_v keep_v his_o life_n then_o leave_v it_o to_o leave_v his_o sheep_n to_o scatter_v o_o my_o soul_n though_o they_o be_v scatter_v for_o a_o time_n yet_o it_o be_v but_o to_o be_v gather_v together_o again_o with_o the_o great_a joy_n for_o though_o he_o leave_v his_o life_n yet_o he_o leave_v not_o his_o sheep_n but_o have_v a_o care_n of_o they_o even_o in_o death_n for_o he_o have_v power_n to_o lay_v down_o his_o life_n and_o power_n to_o take_v it_o up_o again_o and_o as_o he_o lay_v it_o down_o for_o his_o sheep_n ransom_n so_o he_o take_v it_o up_o for_o their_o justification_n every_o shepherd_n know_v that_o sheep_n be_v subject_a to_o many_o infirmity_n and_o know_v many_o infirmity_n to_o which_o they_o be_v subject_a and_o therefore_o be_v never_o without_o his_o box_n of_o tar_n as_o the_o best_a remedy_n in_o case_n of_o danger_n but_o if_o the_o danger_n pass_v his_o tarre-boxe_n and_o touch_v upon_o the_o life_n he_o than_o give_v they_o over_o and_o let_v can_v find_v they_o yet_o they_o be_v so_o narrow_a and_o so_o full_a of_o rub_v that_o without_o special_a assistance_n it_o be_v a_o impossible_a thing_n not_o to_o fall_v or_o go_v astray_o even_o thou_o the_o great_a shepherd_n of_o my_o soul_n as_o thou_o be_v please_v of_o thy_o grace_n to_o lead_v i_o into_o they_o so_o vouchsafe_v with_o thy_o grace_n to_o lead_v i_o in_o they_o for_o though_o in_o themselves_o they_o be_v path_n of_o righteousness_n yet_o to_o i_o they_o will_v be_v but_o path_n of_o error_n if_o thou_o vouchsafe_v not_o as_o well_o to_o lead_v i_o in_o they_o we_o to_o a_o better_a paradise_n then_o that_o of_o our_o first_o parent_n for_o if_o god_n lead_v we_o in_o these_o path_n these_o path_n will_v lead_v we_o to_o the_o place_n where_o the_o goat_n fear_v evil_a when_o the_o evil_a be_v so_o eminent_a and_o the_o danger_n so_o great_a be_v the_o face_n of_o death_n no_o more_o terrible_a but_o that_o you_o dare_v look_v upon_o it_o without_o fear_n though_o it_o be_v the_o reproach_n of_o the_o wicked_a to_o fear_v where_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o fear_n yet_o not_o to_o fear_v where_o there_o be_v cause_n can_v be_v no_o
