religion_n of_o what_o sect_n or_o persuasion_n soever_o which_o declaration_n if_o i_o be_v a_o priest_n i_o may_v safe_o rely_v on_o as_o well_o as_o all_o other_o to_o which_o the_o judge_n reply_v where_o have_v i_o the_o seal_n to_o that_o declaration_n i_o answer_v i_o never_o question_v but_o that_o a_o subject_a may_v take_v his_o king_n word_n declare_v in_o his_o public_a proclamation_n without_o his_o seal_n the_o judge_n answer_v however_o if_o i_o be_v a_o priest_n now_o in_o england_n i_o be_v guilty_a i_o reply_v that_o suppose_v i_o have_v former_o take_v order_n before_o the_o king_n come_v to_o england_n i_o can_v not_o altogether_o degrade_v myself_o or_o be_v otherwise_o now_o than_o what_o i_o be_v ordain_v then_o therefore_o if_o i_o be_v a_o priest_n i_o can_v now_o be_v guilty_a for_o it_o because_o all_o that_o ever_o be_v do_v before_o the_o king_n restauration_n in_o what_o respect_n soever_o be_v all_o forgive_v and_o blot_v out_o by_o the_o king_n be_v general_a pardon_n to_o all_o subject_n even_o to_o those_o who_o have_v a_o hand_n in_o the_o death_n of_o his_o royal_a father_n and_o so_o the_o catholic_n for_o their_o religion_n be_v not_o exclude_v out_o of_o the_o general_n pardon_v wherefore_o i_o tell_v his_o lordship_n i_o be_v not_o guilty_a whereupon_o he_o tell_v i_o i_o be_v guilty_a and_o presume_v far_o to_o plead_v so_o resolute_o and_o with_o such_o confidence_n before_o he_o and_o all_o the_o bench._n i_o crave_v his_o pardon_n for_o my_o fault_n but_o desire_v his_o lordship_n to_o consider_v that_o i_o be_v bid_v speak_v if_o i_o have_v any_o thing_n to_o say_v for_o myself_o before_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n pass_v against_o i_o and_o therefore_o i_o have_v reason_n to_o plead_v home_o since_o this_o be_v the_o last_o time_n i_o be_v like_a to_o speak_v for_o my_o life_n in_o this_o world_n which_o i_o hope_v his_o lordship_n and_o the_o bench_n will_v consider_v but_o if_o notwithstanding_o so_o many_o proclamation_n grant_n for_o liberty_n of_o conscience_n and_o his_o majesty_n general_n pardon_v to_o all_o who_o have_v rely_v on_o they_o if_o all_o this_o will_v not_o secure_v i_o but_o my_o believe_v those_o thing_n have_v cause_v i_o to_o err_v and_o my_o error_n must_v cause_v i_o to_o lose_v my_o life_n i_o have_v no_o more_o to_o say_v so_o the_o judge_n sit_v down_o and_o pronounce_v against_o i_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n that_o i_o shall_v be_v draw_v hang_v and_o quarter_v disbowel_v my_o entrails_n burn_v my_o head_n cut_v off_o my_o body_n to_o be_v cut_v in_o
