praise_n of_o man_n before_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n or_o the_o testimony_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n as_o our_o aim_n be_v pervert_v so_o shall_v we_o be_v reward_v now_o there_o be_v no_o better_a mean_n to_o abate_v or_o extenuate_v this_o desire_n of_o praise_n in_o we_o than_o due_o to_o consider_v who_o gift_n they_o be_v that_o deserve_v this_o praise_n in_o we_o for_o be_v they_o our_o own_o we_o may_v more_o proper_o be_v praise_v for_o they_o but_o they_o be_v god_n and_o not_o we_o therefore_o be_v the_o praise_n to_o be_v ascribe_v unto_o god_n and_o not_o unto_o we_o for_o he_o that_o will_v be_v praise_v for_o god_n gift_n 15_o and_o seek_v not_o god_n glory_n but_o his_o own_o in_o that_o gift_n though_o he_o be_v praise_v by_o man_n for_o god_n gift_n yet_o be_v he_o dispraise_v by_o god_n for_o not_o seek_v god_n glory_n but_o his_o own_o for_o this_o gift_n and_o he_o who_o be_v praise_v by_o man_n god_n dispraise_v shall_v not_o be_v defend_v by_o man_n god_n judge_v nor_o be_v deliver_v god_n condemn_v whereas_o he_o that_o love_v god_n will_v choose_v rather_o to_o be_v deprive_v of_o all_o future_a glory_n than_o detract_v by_o any_o mean_n from_o god_n the_o author_n of_o all_o glory_n let_v we_o then_o so_o avert_v our_o ear_n from_o selfe-praise_n or_o aught_o else_o that_o may_v beget_v in_o we_o vainglory_n or_o ostentation_n that_o
