self-condemned_n or_o that_o any_o man_n can_v be_v in_o christ_n who_o be_v not_o a_o new_a creature_n or_o that_o god_n look_v upon_o man_n otherwise_o than_o they_o be_v we_o think_v it_o a_o state_n of_o presumption_n and_o not_o of_o salvation_n to_o call_v jesus_n lord_n and_o not_o by_o the_o work_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n master_n and_o he_o not_o master_n of_o our_o affection_n saviour_n and_o not_o save_v by_o he_o from_o sin_n redeemer_n and_o yet_o not_o redeem_v by_o he_o from_o passion_n pride_n covetousness_n wantonness_n vanity_n honour_n vain_a friendship_n and_o glory_n of_o this_o world_n which_o whoever_o do_v will_v deceive_v themselves_o for_o god_n will_v not_o be_v mock_v such_o as_o man_n sow_v such_o must_v they_o reap_v and_o though_o christ_n do_v die_v for_o we_o yet_o we_o must_v by_o the_o assistance_n of_o his_o grace_n work_v out_o our_o salvation_n with_o fear_n and_o tremble_v as_o he_o die_v for_o sin_n so_o we_o must_v die_v to_o sin_n or_o we_o can_v be_v say_v to_o be_v save_v by_o the_o death_n and_o suffering_n of_o christ_n or_o thorough_o justify_v and_o accept_v with_o god_n but_o now_o positive_o what_o we_o own_o as_o to_o justification_n come_v next_o we_o do_v believe_v that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v our_o holy_a sacrifice_n and_o atonement_n and_o propitiation_n that_o he_o bear_v our_o iniquity_n and_o that_o by_o his_o stripe_n we_o be_v heal_v of_o the_o wound_v adam_n give_v we_o in_o his_o fall_n and_o that_o god_n be_v just_a in_o forgive_a true_a penitent_n upon_o the_o credit_n of_o that_o holy_a offer_v christ_n make_v of_o himself_o to_o god_n for_o we_o and_o that_o what_o he_o do_v and_o suffer_v satisfy_v and_o please_v god_n it_o be_v for_o the_o take_v of_o fall_v man_n that_o have_v dispondency_n notwithstanding_o all_o that_o their_o teacher_n tell_v they_o of_o the_o extent_n and_o efficacy_n of_o the_o first_o part_n of_o justification_n and_o it_o be_v too_o general_a a_o unhappiness_n among_o the_o professor_n of_o christianity_n that_o they_o be_v apt_a to_o cloak_v their_o own_o active_a and_o passive_a disobedience_n with_o the_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n of_o christ_n the_o first_o part_n of_o justification_n we_o do_v reverent_o and_o humble_o acknowledge_v be_v only_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o the_o death_n and_o suffering_n of_o christ_n nothing_o we_o can_v do_v though_o by_o the_o operation_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n be_v able_a to_o cancel_v old_a debt_n or_o wipe_v out_o old_a score_n it_o be_v the_o power_n and_o efficacy_n of_o that_o propitiatory_a offer_n upon_o faith_n and_o repentance_n that_o justify_v we_o from_o the_o sin_n that_o be_v past_a and_o it_o be_v the_o power_n of_o christ_n spirit_n in_o our_o heart_n that_o purify_v and_o make_v we_o acceptable_a before_o god_n for_o till_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v turn_v from_o sin_n god_n will_v never_o accept_v of_o it_o he_o reprove_v rebuke_n and_o condems_n those_o that_o entertain_v sin_n there_o and_o therefore_o such_o can_v be_v say_v to_o be_v in_o a_o justify_v state_n condemnation_n and_o justification_n be_v contrary_n so_o that_o they_o that_o hold_v themselves_o in_o a_o justify_v state_n by_o the_o active_a and_o passive_a obedience_n of_o christ_n while_o they_o be_v not_o active_o and_o passive_o obedient_a to_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n jesus_n be_v under_o a_o strong_a and_o dangerous_a delusion_n and_o for_o cry_v out_o against_o this_o sin-pleasing_a imagination_n not_o to_o say_v doctrine_n we_o be_v stage_v and_o reproach_v as_o denier_n and_o despiser_n of_o the_o death_n and_o suffering_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n but_o be_v it_o know_v to_o such_o they_o add_v to_o christ_n suffering_n and_o crucify_v to_o themselves_o afresh_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o trample_v the_o blood_n of_o the_o covenant_n under_o their_o foot_n that_o walk_v unho_o under_o a_o profession_n of_o justification_n for_o god_n will_v not_o acquit_v the_o guilty_a nor_o justify_v the_o disobedient_a and_o unfaithful_a such_o deceive_v themselves_o and_o at_o the_o great_a and_o final_a judgement_n their_o sentence_n will_v not_o be_v come_v you_o bless_v because_o it_o can_v be_v say_v to_o they_o well_o do_v good_a and_o faithful_a for_o they_o can_v be_v so_o esteem_v that_o live_v and_o die_v in_o a_o reprovable_a and_o condemnable_a state_n but_o go_v you_o curse_v etc._n etc._n wherefore_o oh_o reader_n rest_v not_o thyself_o whole_o satisfy_v with_o what_o christ_n
