another_o person_n of_o the_o son_n but_o the_o come_v or_o proceed_v of_o the_o three_o person_n from_o both_o the_o other_o be_v like_a to_o nothing_o in_o nature_n and_o therefore_o we_o can_v call_v the_o act_n of_o this_o communicate_v of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o other_o two_o person_n to_o the_o three_o by_o no_o other_o but_o by_o the_o general_a name_n of_o come_v or_o proceed_v and_o also_o of_o our_o hope_n confidence_n and_o assurance_n that_o we_o shall_v have_v this_o our_o prayer_n fulfil_v and_o that_o god_n will_v grant_v our_o petition_n in_o this_o word_n amen_o q._n why_o be_v the_o doxology_n which_o you_o call_v the_o reason_n of_o all_o the_o petition_n omit_v in_o the_o eleven_o chapter_n of_o st._n luke_n gospel_n and_o sometime_o in_o our_o church_n liturgy_n a._n for_o the_o omission_n of_o this_o doxology_n i_o may_v give_v you_o a_o answer_n that_o will_v serve_v for_o all_o the_o difference_n in_o the_o several_a relation_n of_o the_o evangelist_n and_o other_o writer_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n viz._n that_o it_o be_v usual_a with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n speak_v of_o the_o same_o thing_n at_o divers_a time_n and_o in_o divers_a place_n sometime_o to_o omit_v some_o part_n and_o circumstance_n that_o either_o be_v not_o of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o business_n or_o may_v necessary_o be_v gather_v and_o infer_v upon_o the_o rest_n as_o this_o here_o be_v not_o of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o petition_n or_o thing_n pray_v for_o but_o only_o a_o reason_n why_o we_o pray_v thus_o may_v in_o a_o precise_a copy_n or_o form_n of_o prayer_n be_v leave_v out_o because_o it_o be_v reasonable_o in_o all_o our_o action_n to_o be_v understand_v when_o it_o be_v not_o express_v though_o i_o know_v some_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o this_o conclusion_n be_v not_o set_v down_o by_o st._n matthew_n but_o be_v omit_v by_o he_o as_o well_o as_o by_o st._n luke_n in_o the_o first_o draught_n that_o he_o put_v forth_o it_o not_o to_o be_v a_o fit_a form_n of_o acknowledgement_n to_o god_n to_o enforce_v his_o grant_n of_o the_o petition_n whether_o it_o be_v at_o first_o deliver_v by_o our_o saviour_n christ_n himself_o or_o add_v upon_o the_o first_o translation_n of_o st._n matthews_n gospel_n into_o greek_a which_o be_v now_o as_o authentic_a as_o the_o original_a hebrew_n or_o annex_v out_o of_o the_o
