salvation_n in_o a_o proper_a sense_n shall_v be_v a_o eternal_a preservation_n from_o the_o evil_n of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v but_o eternal_a life_n in_o a_o proper_a sense_n shall_v be_v a_o eternal_a conjunction_n union_n or_o communion_n with_o god_n and_o with_o christ_n indeed_o this_o difference_n have_v not_o be_v observe_v by_o all_o writer_n but_o many_o have_v speak_v confuse_o of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o of_o the_o thing_n which_o shall_v be_v contain_v in_o it_o and_o though_o the_o same_o man_n when_o they_o speak_v of_o temporal_a salvation_n temporal_a life_n glory_n liberty_n peace_n etc._n etc._n can_v distinguish_v they_o yet_o when_o they_o speak_v of_o eternal_a salvation_n eternal_a life_n glory_n liberty_n peace_n etc._n etc._n they_o will_v not_o distinguish_v as_o if_o eternal_a thing_n need_v not_o to_o be_v distinguish_v as_o well_o as_o temporal_a second_o it_o may_v inform_v we_o that_o god_n elect_n shall_v be_v no_o loser_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v by_o any_o thing_n they_o shall_v do_v or_o suffer_v in_o obedience_n to_o god_n will_v in_o this_o world_n for_o suppose_v they_o shall_v do_v much_o here_o in_o obedience_n to_o his_o will_n as_o pray_v much_o hear_v much_o read_z much_o meditate_v much_o believe_v much_o repent_v much_o love_v much_o etc._n etc._n and_o suppose_v they_o shall_v suffer_v much_o here_o in_o obedience_n to_o god_n will_v as_o the_o hatred_n and_o contempt_n of_o the_o world_n the_o reproach_n lie_n and_o slander_n of_o wicked_a man_n the_o spoil_n of_o their_o good_n imprisonment_n banishment_n etc._n etc._n indeed_o they_o may_v seem_v to_o be_v loser_n by_o it_o in_o this_o world_n but_o they_o can_v be_v no_o loser_n by_o these_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v because_o in_o that_o world_n they_o shall_v enjoy_v everlasting_a life_n and_o this_o everlasting_a life_n will_v be_v a_o sufficient_a recompense_n for_o all_o that_o they_o shall_v thus_o do_v and_o suffer_v in_o this_o world_n wherefore_o we_o shall_v be_v rich_a in_o the_o work_n of_o the_o lord_n forasmuch_o as_o we_o know_v that_o our_o labour_n shall_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a in_o the_o earth_n instead_o thereof_o with_o other_o creature_n in_o it_o and_o so_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v begin_v immediate_o or_o sudden_o upon_o the_o dissolution_n of_o this_o present_a world_n for_o confirmation_n whereof_o though_o i_o can_v produce_v any_o plain_a place_n of_o scripture_n so_o clear_a as_o to_o convince_v all_o gainsayers_a yet_o i_o can_v produce_v some_o probable_a world_n 3._o i_o have_v serious_o think_v upon_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n paul_n then_o shall_v we_o which_o live_v and_o remain_v be_v catch_v up_o together_o with_o they_o in_o the_o cloud_n to_o meet_v the_o lord_n in_o the_o air_n 1_o thes_n 4._o 17._o where_o he_o intimate_v as_o i_o conceive_v that_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v be_v create_v after_o the_o same_o order_n in_o which_o this_o present_a world_n shall_v be_v dissolve_v and_o as_o this_o present_a world_n shall_v be_v dissolve_v first_o in_o its_o upper_a part_n viz._n the_o visible_a heaven_n cloud_n and_o air_n which_o now_o be_v so_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v be_v create_v first_o in_o its_o upper_a part_n viz._n the_o new_a heaven_n cloud_n and_o air_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o saint_n which_o shall_v be_v find_v live_v upon_o this_o corrupt_a earth_n when_o the_o fire_n begin_v to_o seize_v upon_o it_o shall_v be_v catch_v up_o together_o with_o the_o saint_n that_o shall_v come_v with_o christ_n to_o meet_v he_o and_o they_o in_o the_o new_a cloud_n and_o air_n for_o i_o can_v imagine_v that_o either_o the_o saint_n which_o shall_v come_v from_o heaven_n or_o those_o that_o shall_v come_v from_o the_o earth_n shall_v meet_v in_o these_o corrupt_a cloud_n and_o air_n which_o now_o be_v and_o so_o i_o may_v well_o gather_v from_o this_o place_n that_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v begin_v immediate_o or_o sudden_o upon_o the_o dissolution_n of_o this_o present_a world_n which_o position_n thus_o clear_v cross_v a_o certain_a use_n opinion_n of_o mr_n mede_n revelation_n mede_n in_o his_o book_n on_o the_o revelation_n for_o though_o he_o grant_v that_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v not_o begin_v before_o this_o present_a world_n shall_v be_v dissolve_v yet_o he_o think_v that_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n shall_v continue_v for_o a_o thousand_o year_n and_o thereupon_o shall_v follow_v the_o world_n to_o come_v but_o i_o will_v fain_o know_v what_o he_o mean_v by_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n in_o that_o place_n whether_o the_o day_n of_o sentence_n or_o the_o day_n of_o execution_n if_o he_o mean_v the_o day_n of_o execution_n he_o may_v as_o well_o have_v say_v the_o day_n of_o judgement_n shall_v continue_v for_o ever_o for_o doubtless_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n shall_v continue_v for_o ever_o and_o ever_o but_o if_o he_o mean_v the_o day_n of_o sentence_n i_o wonder_v he_o shall_v say_v the_o day_n of_o judgement_n shall_v continue_v a_o thousand_o year_n see_v no_o good_a reason_n can_v be_v give_v why_o the_o lord_n shall_v so_o long_o deliberate_a about_o the_o sentence_n of_o judgement_n notwithstanding_o then_o this_o opinion_n of_o he_o i_o be_o still_o of_o the_o opinion_n that_o the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v begin_v immediate_o or_o sudden_o upon_o the_o dissolution_n of_o this_o present_a world_n and_o if_o so_o there_o be_v no_o reason_n why_o good_a christian_n shall_v mourn_v grieve_v or_o be_v discourage_v to_o hear_v of_o the_o dissolution_n of_o this_o present_a world_n see_v the_o world_n to_o come_v shall_v begin_v immediate_o hereupon_o it_o be_v a_o comfort_n comfort_n against_o the_o dissolution_n of_o this_o world_n to_o hear_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v another_o and_o a_o better_a world_n after_o the_o dissolution_n of_o this_o sect_n iv_o show_v the_o nature_n of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v consider_v as_o a_o continent_n and_o that_o we_o may_v right_o understand_v
he_o and_o return_n to_o dust_n which_o be_v a_o matter_n well_o know_v &_o consider_v but_o of_o a_o few_o therefore_o solomon_n say_v who_o know_v the_o spirit_n of_o a_o man_n that_o go_v upward_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o restitution_n of_o all_o thing_n at_o the_o object_n 2_o second_o come_v of_o christ_n act_v 3._o 21._o and_o do_v not_o this_o import_n the_o resurrection_n of_o other_o creature_n beside_o man_n it_o do_v not_o because_o this_o restitution_n be_v there_o limit_a answ_n to_o all_o thing_n before_o promise_v by_o the_o holy_a prophet_n now_o god_n have_v no_o where_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a in_o the_o lord_n but_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v recompense_v for_o every_o good_a act_n at_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o just_a luk._n 14._o 14._o last_o this_o universal_a such_o as_o shall_v concern_v all_o particular_n of_o mankind_n of_o all_o nation_n 2._o because_o all_o other_o judgement_n of_o god_n be_v pass_v upon_o man_n at_o several_a time_n for_o some_o man_n sin_n be_v open_a beforehand_o go_v before_o to_o judgement_n and_o some_o man_n follow_v after_o 1_o tim._n 5._o 24._o but_o the_o last_o judgement_n shall_v be_v pass_v upon_o man_n suffer_v this_o death_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v even_o for_o their_o sin_n as_o the_o meritorious_a cause_n thereof_o and_o then_o they_o shall_v acknowledge_v that_o every_o sin_n of_o they_o have_v bring_v this_o death_n upon_o they_o 3._o that_o the_o final_a cause_n of_o it_o shall_v be_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n justice_n for_o he_o shall_v punish_v they_o with_o everlasting_a death_n
