when_o shall_v they_o certain_o know_v the_o full_a measure_n of_o all_o which_o they_o be_v to_o believe_v and_o practise_v as_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n answ_n here_o be_v it_o premise_v that_o the_o philippian_n at_o this_o time_n wherein_o s._n paul_n write_v unto_o they_o may_v expect_v extraordinary_a revelation_n and_o those_o additional_a to_o the_o scripture_n then_o in_o be_v on_o a_o account_n more_o probable_a to_o receive_v they_o than_o any_o now_o adays_o can_v expect_v the_o same_o for_o when_o s._n paul_n write_v this_o epistle_n some_o of_o the_o gospel_n and_o particular_o that_o of_o s._n john_n be_v not_o yet_o pen_v which_o though_o place_v before_o the_o epistle_n as_o contain_v the_o history_n of_o our_o saviour_n life_n which_o be_v first_o in_o time_n yet_o be_v write_v afterward_o but_o see_v long_o since_o the_o canon_n of_o the_o scripture_n be_v complete_v yea_o sign_v and_o seal_v by_o god_n and_o deliver_v to_o mankind_n it_o be_v not_o only_o vain_a but_o wicked_a for_o man_n to_o look_v for_o more_o revelation_n of_o such_o thing_n which_o man_n ought_v to_o know_v and_o believe_v to_o their_o salvation_n but_o to_o answer_v the_o question_n more_o particular_o 18._o there_o be_v two_o sort_n of_o revelation_n one_o do_v revelare_fw-la credenda_fw-la reveal_v those_o thing_n which_o we_o be_v to_o believe_v the_o other_o do_v make_v we_o credere_fw-la revelatis_fw-la more_o quick_o and_o firm_o assent_v to_o what_o have_v former_o be_v deliver_v in_o the_o scripture_n the_o first_o sort_n of_o revelation_n be_v cease_v in_o this_o age._n as_o for_o the_o second_o sort_n we_o may_v look_v for_o they_o pray_v for_o they_o and_o labour_v they_o as_o which_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o bestow_v and_o which_o the_o godly_a daily_o receive_v such_o revelation_n our_o saviour_n give_v to_o the_o two_o disciple_n travel_v to_o emaus_n luke_n 24._o 27._o when_o he_o expound_v unto_o they_o all_o the_o scripture_n and_o in_o the_o same_o chapter_n v_o 45._o to_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o disciple_n when_o he_o open_v their_o understanding_n that_o they_o may_v understand_v the_o scripture_n he_o make_v not_o the_o scripture_n more_o but_o more_o plain_a unto_o they_o not_o large_a but_o clear_a unto_o they_o such_o a_o revelation_n be_v intend_v in_o the_o text_n to_o make_v erroneous_a true_a how_o long_o shall_v thy_o servant_n go_v on_o in_o their_o error_n and_o ignorance_n when_o shall_v they_o without_o fail_v receive_v this_o promise_a revelation_n to_o have_v the_o truth_n manifest_v unto_o they_o i_o answer_v my_o text_n belove_v have_v not_o tell_v the_o time_n and_o therefore_o i_o can_v tell_v it_o you_o you_o will_v say_v if_o the_o text_n have_v tell_v the_o time_n you_o can_v have_v tell_v it_o i_o be_v it_o so_o and_o now_o both_o you_o and_o i_o must_v content_o be_v ignorant_a thereof_o yet_o not_o to_o satisfy_v the_o curious_a but_o the_o of_o heaven_n shall_v discover_v to_o be_v most_o for_o god_n glory_n and_o for_o thy_o good_a thou_o can_v not_o wise_o wish_v it_o to_o be_v any_o whit_n before_o that_o time_n and_o i_o do_v confident_o assure_v thou_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v any_o whit_n after_o it_o 21._o and_o yet_o i_o dare_v not_o be_v over_o confident_a to_o promise_v thou_o that_o such_o revelation_n of_o the_o truth_n shall_v certain_o happen_v to_o thou_o in_o this_o life_n many_o of_o god_n good_a servant_n have_v go_v to_o the_o grave_n with_o grievous_a error_n which_o they_o have_v maintain_v yea_o it_o be_v no_o absurdity_n to_o maintain_v that_o the_o bless_a in_o heaven_n be_v as_o yet_o ignorant_a of_o many_o truth_n and_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o accession_n unto_o they_o as_o of_o glory_n so_o of_o knowledge_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n yea_o many_o thing_n of_o god_n proceed_n shall_v not_o be_v reveal_v unto_o they_o until_o rom._n 2._o 5._o the_o day_n of_o the_o revelation_n of_o the_o righteous_a judgement_n of_o god_n 22._o quest_n but_o suppose_v it_o be_v never_o at_o all_o reveal_v unto_o a_o man_n what_o be_v to_o be_v conceive_v of_o his_o final_a condition_n who_o live_v and_o die_v a_o stiff_a defender_n of_o a_o damnable_a doctrine_n answ_n give_v i_o leave_v in_o the_o first_o place_n to_o distinguish_v of_o damnable_a doctrine_n a_o phrase_n acceptive_a of_o two_o sense_n if_o damnable_a be_v take_v passive_o for_o that_o which_o ought_v to_o be_v damn_v or_o condemn_v than_o every_o error_n be_v in_o itself_o a_o damnable_a error_n
