seed_n pass_v from_o man_n which_o never_o come_v to_o perfection_n no_o not_o to_o conception_n hence_o they_o conclude_v that_o if_o the_o soul_n pass_v in_o the_o seed_n than_o many_o soul_n perish_v and_o so_o the_o soul_n shall_v not_o be_v immortal_a it_o how_o the_o soul_n be_v in_o the_o seed_n &_o yet_o not_o lose_v with_o it_o but_o these_o conceive_v not_o right_o yea_o too_o base_o and_o bruitish_o of_o the_o soul_n generation_n imagine_v that_o which_o no_o man_n sound_n in_o his_o wit_n will_v go_v about_o to_o maintain_v for_o by_o that_o which_o have_v be_v say_v it_o appear_v that_o the_o soul_n never_o pass_v in_o the_o seed_n but_o at_o the_o instant_n of_o conception_n and_o from_o thenceforth_o a_o new_a soul_n remain_v in_o the_o conceive_a fruit_n neither_o can_v it_o be_v proper_o say_v that_o it_o pass_v then_o for_o as_o the_o soul_n be_v in_o the_o body_n and_o yet_o not_o contain_v of_o it_o so_o it_o be_v always_o in_o the_o seed_n though_o not_o comprehend_v by_o it_o and_o whensoever_o the_o seed_n prove_v not_o effectual_a the_o soul_n remain_v as_o it_o be_v what_o ever_o become_v of_o the_o seed_n for_o the_o soul_n be_v never_o procreate_v but_o in_o conception_n when_o both_o seed_n meet_v in_o a_o due_a proportion_n and_o become_v one_o and_o when_o the_o efficient_a power_n of_o god_n concur_v with_o all_o other_o natural_a cause_n do_v out_o of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o generate_a soul_n produce_v another_o together_o with_o a_o body_n capable_a of_o that_o divine_a form_n some_o resemblance_n whereof_o middle_a way_n between_o both_o both_o by_o scripture_n and_o natural_a reason_n i_o will_v now_o in_o the_o last_o place_n that_o there_o may_v remain_v no_o just_a scruple_n to_o cavil_n at_o brief_o answer_v some_o few_o objection_n which_o i_o conceive_v may_v be_v make_v more_o direct_o even_o against_o this_o mean_a manner_n of_o the_o soul_n procreation_n and_o so_o conclude_v the_o objection_n be_v these_o four_o objection_n objection_n first_o that_o the_o soul_n shall_v not_o be_v immortal_a if_o it_o may_v be_v resolve_v into_o a_o former_a principle_n namely_o adam_n soul_n his_o labour_n three_o man_n shall_v still_o be_v inferior_a to_o beast_n in_o that_o he_o can_v beget_v his_o like_a alone_a but_o must_v have_v more_o help_n from_o god_n than_o they_o last_o god_n if_o it_o be_v compound_v yea_o even_o of_o the_o element_n yet_o it_o will_v not_o present_o follow_v that_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v mortal_a because_o corruption_n and_o death_n come_v not_o only_o nor_o so_o much_o from_o propagation_n or_o composition_n as_o from_o divine_a malediction_n for_o death_n be_v the_o wage_n of_o sin_n without_o which_o even_o adam_n body_n shall_v have_v be_v immortal_a as_o well_o as_o his_o soul_n last_o to_o this_o objection_n i_o will_v oppose_v a_o infallible_a conclusion_n viz._n that_o nothing_o can_v return_v to_o nothing_o but_o by_o the_o same_o resolve_v into_o they_o again_o but_o because_o man_n soul_n can_v be_v propagate_v from_o their_o parent_n but_o by_o the_o immediate_a power_n of_o god_n concur_v hence_o it_o necessary_o follow_v that_o neither_o can_v they_o be_v again_o dissolve_v or_o annihilate_v but_o by_o the_o same_o omnipotent_a power_n this_o therefore_o do_v invincible_o prove_v so_o far_o be_v it_o from_o disprove_v even_o by_o course_n of_o nature_n creature_n 3_o obj._n that_o maâ—_n shall_v still_o be_v inferior_a to_o other_o creature_n to_o the_o three_o objection_n that_o if_o man_n generation_n require_v
