bread_n of_o life_n they_o toss_v up_o and_o down_o but_o break_v it_o not_o they_o say_v in_o the_o gross_a that_o man_n must_v live_v well_o but_o they_o tell_v they_o not_o how_o to_o live_v they_o bring_v not_o their_o doctrine_n down_o to_o case_n of_o conscience_n that_o a_o man_n may_v be_v warrant_v in_o his_o perpetual_a action_n whether_o they_o be_v lawful_a or_o not_o nor_o take_v give_v countenance_n to_o his_o authority_n proclaim_v his_o righteousness_n and_o purity_n be_v he_o not_o able_a testimony_n on_o his_o behalf_n against_o sinner_n and_o so_o there_o can_v be_v nothing_o more_o powerful_a to_o move_v god_n to_o grant_v a_o pardon_n to_o those_o rebel_n that_o will_v submit_v to_o he_o since_o now_o he_o shall_v lose_v nothing_o by_o it_o but_o that_o which_o he_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o give_v away_o and_o not_o demand_v viz._n the_o penalty_n which_o they_o have_v incur_v by_o the_o breach_n of_o his_o law_n but_o be_v it_o not_o manifest_v then_o that_o god_n can_v love_v sin_n nor_o be_v friend_n with_o sinner_n until_o they_o amend_v do_v not_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n show_v that_o his_o nature_n be_v such_o that_o he_o can_v indulge_v man_n in_o their_o trespass_n be_v it_o not_o apparent_a that_o it_o be_v not_o fit_a to_o pardon_v even_o penitent_a and_o return_a offender_n unless_o he_o show_v his_o displeasure_n at_o their_o very_a nature_n be_v against_o such_o man_n his_o wisdom_n be_v a_o enemy_n to_o they_o for_o how_o shall_v he_o maintain_v any_o government_n in_o the_o world_n if_o he_o himself_o shall_v be_v the_o cherisher_n of_o traitor_n if_o he_o shall_v take_v care_n for_o their_o protection_n and_o set_v up_o a_o sanctuary_n to_o which_o they_o may_v bold_o fly_v if_o he_o shall_v make_v the_o altar_n of_o the_o cross_a a_o refuge_n where_o they_o may_v find_v salvation_n and_o safety_n who_o be_v the_o opposer_n of_o his_o authority_n it_o can_v be_v that_o god_n shall_v be_v so_o liberal_a as_o to_o give_v away_o all_o his_o own_o right_a he_o can_v quit_v his_o title_n and_o claim_n unto_o our_o universal_a obedience_n it_o be_v impossible_a that_o christ_n by_o his_o death_n shall_v repeal_v all_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o absolve_v we_o from_o our_o duty_n there_o be_v no_o question_n he_o intend_v to_o strengthen_v they_o when_o he_o make_v a_o relaxation_n and_o when_o he_o procure_v a_o dispensation_n he_o do_v more_o establish_v and_o secure_v that_o which_o be_v not_o dispense_v withal_o it_o be_v a_o rule_n of_o reason_n that_o all_o exception_n do_v confirm_v the_o law_n they_o tell_v we_o that_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v extend_v to_o any_o further_a indulgence_n and_o therefore_o christ_n die_v that_o the_o punishment_n may_v not_o be_v execute_v this_o be_v all_o the_o remission_n that_o we_o be_v to_o expect_v and_o not_o that_o god_n shall_v remit_v all_o our_o duty_n to_o he_o it_o be_v very_o easy_a if_o man_n be_v well_o dispose_v to_o read_v at_o once_o in_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n the_o great_a love_n of_o god_n to_o we_o and_o the_o great_a love_n to_o his_o law_n his_o love_n to_o we_o appear_v in_o that_o he_o will_v for_o our_o good_a his_o law_n and_o abate_v the_o strictness_n of_o it_o dispense_v with_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o old_a law_n and_o make_v a_o new_a one_o of_o grace_n and_o favour_n and_o that_o he_o may_v do_v so_o and_o save_v both_o we_o from_o die_v and_o his_o law_n from_o contempt_n by_o our_o escape_n that_o he_o will_v provide_v such_o a_o wise_a remedy_n as_o this_o of_o his_o son_n die_v for_o we_o herein_o be_v his_o love_n indeed_o manifest_v and_o we_o can_v never_o sufficient_o admire_v it_o that_o he_o will_v have_v he_o die_v rather_o than_o we_o that_o he_o will_v have_v he_o suffer_v that_o we_o may_v be_v deliver_v but_o then_o this_o also_o plain_o tell_v we_o the_o great_a love_n that_o he_o bear_v to_o holiness_n to_o his_o law_n and_o to_o our_o duty_n which_o he_o take_v care_n shall_v not_o be_v injure_v by_o this_o favour_n and_o remission_n though_o he_o will_v not_o have_v all_o die_v out_o of_o love_n to_o we_o yet_o he_o will_v have_v one_o lest_o we_o shall_v still_o continue_v in_o the_o love_n of_o sin_n though_o he_o will_v not_o have_v every_o one_o of_o we_o suffer_v for_o the_o breach_n of_o his_o law_n yet_o he_o will_v have_v christ_n suffer_v that_o we_o may_v not_o take_v the_o boldness_n still_o to_o break_v they_o this_o death_n of_o his_o son_n reduce_v thing_n to_o a_o excellent_a temper_n provide_v that_o neither_o we_o nor_o god_n may_v be_v damnify_v that_o we_o may_v not_o suffer_v for_o what_o we_o have_v do_v and_o that_o he_o may_v not_o suffer_v by_o our_o do_v still_o the_o same_o that_o he_o may_v be_v what_o he_o be_v and_o we_o become_v what_o we_o ought_v that_o the_o old_a original_a law_n which_o require_v our_o obedience_n may_v remain_v in_o force_n and_o the_o rigour_n of_o they_o not_o be_v execute_v for_o our_o disobedience_n that_o he_o may_v part_v with_o some_o of_o his_o right_n and_o yet_o recover_v all_o the_o rest_n in_o one_o word_n that_o he_o may_v be_v move_v to_o let_v go_v his_o right_n to_o punish_v we_o and_o we_o not_o move_v to_o be_v careless_a in_o yield_v he_o the_o rest_n of_o his_o right_n which_o he_o have_v to_o our_o hearty_a and_o constant_a obedience_n i_o wish_v hearty_o that_o you_o and_o every_o body_n else_o will_v serious_o consider_v this_o and_o not_o expect_v that_o god_n shall_v not_o require_v your_o service_n and_o obedience_n for_o it_o be_v so_o much_o his_o due_n that_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o his_o son_n he_o can_v part_v with_o his_o right_a and_o claim_v unto_o it_o nay_o i_o have_v a_o bold_a thing_n to_o say_v than_o all_o this_o and_o that_o be_v that_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n be_v so_o far_o from_o intend_v our_o pardon_n only_o that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o chief_a thing_n that_o he_o intend_v of_o the_o two_o the_o purify_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o life_n be_v more_o in_o his_o design_n than_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n and_o this_o be_v but_o in_o order_n to_o the_o other_o so_o much_o you_o may_v easy_o gather_v from_o many_o of_o those_o place_n of_o the_o holy_a write_n which_o be_v mention_v before_o for_o though_o he_o bear_v our_o sin_n in_o his_o own_o body_n on_o the_o tree_n yet_o it_o be_v for_o this_o end_n this_o be_v the_o ultimate_a scope_n of_o it_o that_o we_o be_v dead_a to_o sin_n may_v live_v unto_o righteousness_n and_o so_o another_o apostle_n say_v he_o give_v himself_o for_o
