be_v large_o and_o particular_o declare_v how_o satan_n effectual_o to_o work_v a_o infidelity_n in_o we_o and_o to_o make_v we_o mistru_v and_o misdoubt_v nay_o despair_n of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n fetch_v reason_n out_o of_o every_o particular_a reason_n that_o we_o do_v as_o we_o to_o persuade_v so_o he_o to_o dissuade_v the_o forgiunesse_fw-fr of_o sin_n i_o stand_v the_o long_o in_o prove_v of_o this_o one_o thing_n because_o there_o be_v no_o one_o thing_n more_o hardly_o persuade_v unto_o the_o soul_n than_o this_o be_v and_o that_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o subtlety_n of_o satan_n who_o have_v two_o general_a mean_n to_o make_v we_o doubt_v hereof_o the_o one_o be_v by_o blind_a the_o eye_n of_o our_o understanding_n in_o such_o a_o sort_n as_o that_o the_o light_n of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n of_o god_n can_v shine_v unto_o us._n for_o he_o be_v that_o god_n of_o the_o world_n that_o work_v effectual_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o many_o man_n yea_o of_o the_o best_a man_n sometime_o and_o thereby_o so_o daprave_v and_o crook_v the_o right_a shape_n of_o their_o understanding_n as_o that_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o general_a promise_n of_o god_n the_o force_n of_o reason_n neither_o any_o thing_n else_o for_o the_o present_a time_n can_v make_v they_o to_o concern_v and_o believe_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n &_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o their_o sin_n because_o they_o be_v so_o cover_v over_o with_o darkness_n and_o as_o it_o be_v a_o thick_a cloud_n of_o mist_n the_o other_o be_v by_o use_v our_o own_o corrupt_a nature_n and_o infidelity_n which_o when_o we_o have_v say_v and_o do_v what_o we_o can_v do_v will_v still_o stick_v in_o we_o &_o doubt_v hereof_o and_o therefore_o will_v be_v ready_a to_o say_v well_o for_o all_o this_o i_o doubt_v whether_o the_o lord_n will_v forgive_v i_o yea_o or_o no_o &_o be_v so_o good_a as_o his_o word_n this_o our_o corruption_n satan_n use_v to_o corrupt_v we_o withal_o this_o our_o infidelity_n to_o make_v we_o infidel_n and_o this_o our_o doubt_v to_o make_v we_o despair_v of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o that_o he_o may_v work_v the_o same_o more_o effectual_o in_o we_o he_o fetch_v reason_n out_o of_o every_o particular_a reason_n that_o we_o do_v as_o we_o to_o persuade_v so_o he_o to_o dissuade_v the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o first_o as_o touch_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n which_o be_v our_o principal_a and_o first_o reason_n he_o will_v labour_v to_o make_v we_o distrust_v they_o either_o by_o put_v into_o we_o a_o fear_n or_o else_o a_o evil_a suspicion_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o to_o think_v nay_o to_o say_v in_o our_o heart_n i_o but_o what_o if_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o be_v so_o good_a as_o his_o word_n who_o be_v strong_a than_o the_o lord_n to_o compel_v he_o to_o it_o or_o what_o law_n shall_v we_o have_v against_o he_o he_o be_v above_o all_o law_n and_o
neighbour_n beast_n swear_v that_o it_o perish_v not_o through_o his_o default_n the_o lender_n ought_v and_o that_o by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n to_o give_v credit_n unto_o he_o and_o to_o rest_v satisfy_v how_o much_o more_o then_o not_o man_n but_o the_o lord_n have_v swear_v to_o forgi_fw-la e_fw-es thy_o sin_n ought_v thou_o to_o rest_v satisfy_v so_o that_o now_o even_o in_o reason_n in_o itself_o for_o the_o which_o he_o reprove_v the_o man_n to_o have_v place_n in_o his_o own_o person_n god_n forbid_v that_o we_o shall_v so_o conceve_v of_o the_o lord_n acco_n nt_v he_o to_o be_v less_o constant_a than_o inconstant_a man_n if_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o such_o a_o imagination_n shall_v creep_v into_o our_o head_n as_o that_o we_o shall_v think_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v lie_v yet_o far_o be_v it_o from_o we_o that_o we_o shall_v think_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v forswear_v himself_o even_o this_o one_o word_n therefore_o which_o be_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v swear_v to_o forgive_v we_o our_o sin_n shall_v strike_v into_o our_o heart_n such_o a_o full_a assurance_n thereof_o as_o that_o we_o shall_v rest_v in_o peace_n be_v full_o satisfy_v and_o resolve_v therein_o no_o long_o waver_v as_o the_o unconstant_a &_o doubtful_a mind_a man_n but_o rather_o rejoice_v be_v comfort_v &_o glory_n in_o the_o lord_n even_o as_o myself_o have_v know_v many_o of_o the_o elect_a of_o god_n to_o have_v do_v who_o although_o before_o they_o be_v horrible_o afraid_a and_o disquiet_v in_o their_o own_o soul_n yet_o so_o soon_o as_o they_o hear_v this_o once_o that_o
