it_o dispose_v we_o to_o the_o exercise_n and_o act_n of_o faith_n who_o comfort_n of_o joy_n peace_n and_o serenity_n of_o heart_n be_v as_o gold_n which_o be_v best_a lay_v upon_o sad_a and_o dark_a colour_n or_o as_o the_o polish_a diamond_n that_o receive_v a_o addition_n of_o lustre_n from_o the_o water_v of_o it_o god_n promise_n be_v that_o the_o believe_a jew_n who_o look_v upon_o christ_n by_o a_o eye_n of_o faith_n shall_v be_v also_o great_a mourner_n they_o shall_v mourn_v for_o he_o as_o one_o mourn_v for_o his_o only_a son_n and_o shall_v be_v in_o bitterness_n for_o he_o as_o one_o that_o be_v in_o bitterness_n for_o his_o first_o bear_v unto_o the_o careless_a or_o wilful_a i_o also_o say_v that_o god_n never_o forgive_v sin_n but_o where_o also_o he_o give_v a_o penitent_a and_o relent_a heart_n so_o that_o though_o faith_n have_v a_o peculiar_a nature_n in_o the_o receive_n of_o pardon_n apply_v it_o by_o way_n of_o instrument_n which_o no_o other_o grace_n do_v yet_o repentance_n be_v the_o express_a formal_a qualification_n that_o fit_v for_o pardon_n not_o by_o way_n of_o causality_n or_o merit_n but_o by_o way_n of_o mean_n as_o well_o as_o of_o command_n which_o arise_v from_o a_o condecency_n both_o to_o god_n himself_o who_o be_v a_o holy_a god_n and_o to_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o mercy_n which_o be_v the_o take_n and_o remove_v of_o sin_n away_o never_o dream_v then_o of_o such_o free_a grace_n or_o gospel_n mercy_n as_o do_v supercede_v a_o break_a and_o a_o contrite_a heart_n or_o take_v off_o the_o necessity_n of_o sorrow_v for_o sin_n for_o christ_n do_v never_o undertake_v to_o satisfy_v god_n wrath_n in_o a_o absolute_a and_o illimited_a manner_n but_o in_o a_o well_o order_v and_o meet_a way_n viz._n the_o way_n of_o faith_n and_o repentance_n how_o else_o shall_v we_o ever_o come_v to_o taste_v the_o bitterness_n of_o sin_n or_o the_o sweetness_n of_o grace_n how_o to_o prize_n and_o esteem_v the_o physician_n if_o not_o sensible_a of_o our_o disease_n how_o to_o adore_v the_o love_n of_o christ_n who_o redeem_v we_o from_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n by_o be_v make_v a_o curse_n for_o we_o if_o not_o burden_v with_o the_o weight_n of_o our_o iniquity_n yea_o how_o shall_v we_o ever_o give_v god_n the_o glory_n of_o his_o justice_n in_o acknowledge_v ourselves_o worthy_a of_o death_n if_o we_o do_v not_o in_o a_o way_n of_o repentance_n judge_v ourselves_o as_o the_o apostle_n bid_v we_o be_v not_o this_o that_o david_n do_v in_o that_o solemn_a confession_n of_o he_o in_o which_o he_o cry_v my_o request_n that_o my_o faith_n for_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n may_v be_v accompany_v with_o my_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n and_o that_o i_o may_v have_v a_o weep_a eye_n as_o well_o as_o a_o believe_a heart_n that_o i_o may_v mourn_v for_o the_o evil_n that_o i_o have_v do_v against_o my_o saviour_n as_o well_o as_o rejoice_v in_o the_o fullness_n of_o mercy_n that_o he_o have_v show_v to_o i_o
