further_o carry_v on_o of_o this_o i_o shall_v handle_v two_o thing_n 1_o what_o i_o mean_v by_o spiritual_a thing_n 2_o why_o the_o exercise_v the_o heart_n in_o these_o be_v such_o a_o special_a way_n to_o preserve_v a_o saint_n from_o the_o error_n and_o evil_n of_o the_o time_n he_o live_v in_o concern_v the_o first_o by_o spiritual_a thing_n i_o understand_v such_o thing_n as_o either_o tend_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n the_o edify_a my_o brother_n the_o win_n of_o soul_n the_o beget_n and_o increase_v of_o my_o own_o peace_n the_o mortify_n of_o sin_n in_o i_o the_o quicken_a of_o grace_n etc._n etc._n such_o thing_n as_o these_o i_o call_v spiritual_n and_o all_o principle_n and_o practice_n whatsoever_o which_o produce_v these_o or_o such_o like_a effect_n i_o may_v term_v spiritual_a truth_n and_o spiritual_a work_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n whatsoever_o opinion_n or_o practice_n it_o be_v which_o do_v not_o produce_v such_o like_a effect_n but_o the_o contrary_a i_o may_v just_o exclude_v from_o the_o name_n of_o spiritual_a thus_o you_o have_v a_o general_a notion_n of_o what_o i_o mean_v by_o spiritual_a thing_n but_o now_o for_o our_o help_n in_o the_o exercise_v of_o our_o heart_n about_o spiritual_a thing_n it_o be_v very_o needful_a that_o we_o have_v yet_o a_o more_o distinct_a and_o particular_a knowledge_n of_o those_o spiritual_a thing_n our_o heart_n shall_v be_v exercise_v about_o which_o thing_n though_o they_o be_v many_o more_o than_o i_o be_o able_a to_o speak_v of_o or_o if_o i_o be_v have_v time_n to_o do_v it_o yet_o
