truly-christian_a soul_n hunger_a and_o thirst_v after_o righteousness_n and_o so_o earnest_o attract_v the_o nourish_a moisture_n of_o heavenly_a grace_n that_o there_o be_v no_o entertainment_n for_o any_o pernicious_a weed_n of_o sin_n so_o much_o as_o to_o take_v any_o root_n near_o she_o but_o possible_o some_o one_o will_v say_v that_o this_o tree_n draw_v all_o to_o itself_o it_o be_v true_a it_o do_v so_o but_o not_o to_o the_o advantage_n only_o of_o itself_o for_o that_o moisture_n and_o strength_n which_o it_o draw_v from_o the_o earth_n be_v diffuse_v into_o the_o several_a part_n of_o it_o in_o order_n to_o the_o production_n of_o blossom_n and_o fruit._n and_o so_o it_o shall_v be_v with_o the_o devout_a christian_a who_o hunger_n and_o thirst_v after_o righteousness_n what_o juice_n he_o extract_v out_o of_o the_o root_n of_o spiritual_a contemplation_n aught_o to_o spread_v its_o vigour_n into_o his_o life_n and_o action_n as_o he_o stand_v accountable_a to_o his_o creator_n his_o neighbour_n or_o himself_o whereby_o the_o great_a author_n of_o all_o gift_n and_o grace_n may_v be_v glorify_v again_o if_o it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o clove-tree_n be_v so_o attractive_a as_o to_o draw_v all_o the_o moisture_n to_o itself_o for_o its_o own_o benefit_n in_o like_a manner_n the_o hungry_a and_o thirsty_a christian_n shall_v make_v his_o advantage_n of_o all_o thing_n in_o pursuit_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o the_o righteousness_n thereof_o moreover_o whereas_o it_o be_v the_o design_n of_o nature_n that_o this_o tree_n as_o well_o as_o and_o exult_v with_o tremble_a mean_a while_n let_v we_o seem_v to_o hear_v our_o saviour_n say_v i_o thirst_v whereby_o be_v exemplify_v the_o four_o beatitude_n bless_v be_v they_o who_o hunger_n
