sinner_n whatsoever_o in_o which_o matter_n the_o vicar_n must_v be_v extreme_o careful_a be_v sensible_a that_o as_o it_o be_v a_o grievous_a sin_n in_o such_o to_o receive_v the_o divine_a sacrament_n before_o they_o have_v forsake_v their_o sin_n so_o it_o be_v likewise_o a_o grievous_a offence_n in_o they_o to_o give_v the_o sacrament_n to_o such_o public_a sinner_n and_o who_o be_v know_v by_o all_o to_o live_v in_o such_o sin_n and_o not_o to_o have_v forsake_v they_o notwithstanding_o they_o shall_v have_v be_v confess_v by_o other_o and_o shall_v bring_v a_o note_n of_o their_o be_v absolve_v this_o matter_n ought_v to_o be_v lay_v home_o to_o the_o conscience_n of_o the_o vicar_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o great_a dissoluteness_n that_o there_o be_v in_o this_o this_o divine_a sacrament_n ought_v to_o be_v receive_v fast_v as_o holy_a mother_n church_n command_v and_o that_o upon_o the_o day_n on_o which_o people_n be_v to_o communicate_v they_o be_v otherwise_o than_o fast_v a_o grievous_a sacrilege_n a_o most_o grievous_a sacrilege_n such_o only_o except_v as_o be_v under_o any_o great_a infirmity_n or_o much_o spend_v with_o sickness_n who_o may_v take_v electuary_n and_o other_o light_a thing_n to_o strengthen_v they_o of_o which_o the_o confessor_n must_v be_v judge_n decree_n v._n christian_n be_v not_o only_o bind_v to_o receive_v the_o most_o holy_a sacrament_n of_o the_o altar_n once_o a_o year_n at_o easter_n but_o as_o often_o as_o they_o be_v in_o probable_a danger_n of_o death_n and_o especial_o in_o any_o great_a sickness_n for_o which_o reason_n this_o divine_a sacrament_n be_v call_v the_o viaticum_fw-la that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o support_n in_o the_o way_n from_o a_o mortal_a to_o a_o eternal_a life_n before_o they_o come_v to_o be_v too_o weak_a at_o a_o time_n when_o it_o will_v do_v they_o no_o prejudice_n they_o may_v be_v bring_v in_o a_o palanquin_n or_o in_o something_o else_o that_o cover_v they_o to_o the_o church_n there_o to_o receive_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n for_o which_o use_n there_o shall_v be_v a_o palanquin_n or_o net_n make_v commodious_a with_o carpet_n in_o every_o church_n in_o which_o the_o sick_a shall_v be_v carry_v with_o due_a care_n which_o shall_v be_v buy_v within_o a_o month_n after_o the_o publication_n hereof_o out_o of_o the_o fabric_n money_n of_o the_o church_n all_o which_o the_o synod_n do_v recommend_v earnest_o to_o the_o vicar_n this_o be_v true_o the_o chief_a duty_n of_o their_o office_n and_o if_o it_o shall_v any_o time_n happen_v that_o a_o parishioner_n shall_v die_v without_o have_v receive_v the_o communion_n through_o the_o vicar_n default_n the_o say_a vicar_n shall_v be_v suspend_v for_o six_o month_n from_o his_o office_n and_o benefice_n and_o if_o it_o happen_v through_o the_o vicar_n not_o have_v be_v advise_v thereof_o than_o those_o that_o attend_v the_o sick_a person_n shall_v be_v severe_o punish_v by_o the_o prelate_n decree_n vi._n whereas_o woman_n be_v many_o time_n in_o danger_n of_o death_n in_o childbed_n a_o great_a many_o die_v therein_o the_o synod_n do_v therefore_o declare_v that_o all_o woman_n with_o child_n ought_v about_o the_o time_n when_o they_o reckon_v they_o be_v to_o be_v deliver_v to_o confess_v themselves_o and_o receive_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n but_o especial_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o have_v be_v ordain_v when_o they_o be_v but_o boy_n and_o so_o do_v wait_v till_o they_o come_v to_o be_v of_o a_o due_a age_n and_o other_o through_o other_o impediment_n therefore_o the_o synod_n do_v command_v all_o such_o to_o receive_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n upon_o all_o the_o solemn_a festivity_n and_o at_o least_o once_o a_o month_n wish_v they_o will_v do_v it_o every_o sunday_n with_o a_o due_a preparation_n and_o reverence_n and_o as_o often_o as_o any_o priest_n do_v communicate_v he_o shall_v be_v in_o a_o surplice_n and_o steal_v with_o a_o cross_n on_o his_o breast_n to_o distinguish_v he_o from_o other_o people_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o reverence_n and_o respect_n that_o be_v due_a to_o the_o sacerdotal_a office_n which_o he_o bear_v decree_v
