not_o to_o covet_v or_o desire_v other_o man_n good_n but_o to_o learn_v and_o labour_v true_o to_o get_v my_o own_o live_n and_o to_o do_v my_o duty_n in_o that_o state_n of_o life_n unto_o the_o which_o it_o shall_v please_v god_n to_o call_v i_o question_n my_o good_a child_n know_v this_o that_o thou_o be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v these_o thing_n of_o thyself_o nor_o to_o walk_v in_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o to_o serve_v he_o without_o his_o special_a grace_n which_o thou_o must_v learn_v at_o all_o time_n to_o call_v for_o by_o diligent_a prayer_n let_v i_o hear_v therefore_o if_o thou_o can_v say_v the_o lord_n prayer_n answer_n our_o father_n which_o be_v in_o heaven_n hallow_a be_v thy_o name_n thy_o kingdom_n come_v thy_o will_n be_v do_v in_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n give_v we_o this_o day_n our_o daily_a bread_n and_o forgive_v we_o our_o trespass_n as_o we_o forgive_v they_o that_o trespass_n against_o we_o and_o lead_v we_o not_o into_o temptation_n but_o deliver_v we_o from_o evil_a for_o thou_o be_v the_o kingdom_n the_o power_n and_o the_o glory_n for_o ever_o amen_n question_n what_o desire_v thou_o of_o god_n in_o this_o from_o our_o ghostly_a enemy_n and_o from_o everlasting_a death_n and_o this_o i_o trust_v he_o will_v do_v of_o his_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o therefore_o i_o say_v amen_n so_o be_v it_o question_n how_o many_o sacrament_n have_v christ_n ordain_v in_o his_o church_n answer_n two_o only_o as_o general_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n that_o be_v to_o say_v baptism_n and_o the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n question_n what_o mean_v thou_o by_o this_o word_n sacrament_n answer_n i_o mean_v a_o outward_a and_o visible_a sign_n of_o a_o inward_a and_o spiritual_a grace_n give_v unto_o we_o ordain_v by_o christ_n himself_o as_o a_o mean_n whereby_o we_o receive_v the_o same_o and_o a_o pledge_n to_o assure_v we_o thereof_o question_n how_o many_o part_n be_v there_o in_o a_o sacrament_n answer_n two_o the_o outward_a visible_a sign_n and_o the_o inward_a spiritual_a grace_n question_n what_o be_v the_o outward_a visible_a sign_n work_n and_o constant_o believe_v god_n holy_a word_n and_o obedient_o keep_v his_o commandment_n minister_n do_v thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o this_o child_n promise_v to_o forsake_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o his_o work_n the_o vain_a pomp_n and_o glory_n of_o the_o world_n with_o all_o covetous_a desire_n of_o the_o same_o the_o carnal_a desire_n of_o the_o flesh_n so_o that_o thou_o will_v not_o follow_v nor_o be_v lead_v by_o they_o answer_n i_o will_v forsake_v they_o all_o minister_n do_v thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o this_o child_n profess_v this_o faith_n to_o believe_v in_o god_n the_o father_n almighty_n maker_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o in_o jesus_n christ_n his_o only_a son_n our_o lord_n and_o that_o he_o be_v conceive_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n bear_v of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n that_o he_o suffer_v under_o pontius_n pilate_n be_v crucify_v dead_a and_o bury_v descend_v into_o hell_n and_o also_o do_v rise_v again_o the_o three_o day_n that_o he_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n and_o sit_v at_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n the_o father_n almighty_a and_o from_o thence_o shall_v come_v again_o at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n to_o judge_v the_o quick_a same_o that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n will_v vouchsafe_v to_o receive_v they_o to_o lay_v his_o hand_n upon_o they_o to_o bless_v they_o and_o release_v they_o of_o their_o sin_n to_o give_v they_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o everlasting_a life_n let_v we_o pray_v almighty_a and_o everlasting_a god_n which_o of_o thy_o great_a mercy_n do_v save_v noah_n and_o his_o family_n in_o the_o ark_n from_o perish_v by_o water_n and_o also_o do_v safe_o lead_v the_o child_n of_o israel_n thy_o people_n through_o the_o red_a sea_n figure_v thereby_o thy_o holy_a baptism_n and_o by_o the_o baptism_n of_o thy_o well-beloved_a son_n jesus_n christ_n do_v sanctify_v the_o flood_n jordan_n and_o all_o other_o water_n to_o the_o mystical_a wash_n away_o of_o sin_n we_o beseech_v thou_o upon_o thou_o for_o these_o infant_n that_o they_o come_v to_o thy_o holy_a baptism_n may_v receive_v remission_n of_o their_o sin_n by_o spiritual_a regeneration_n receive_v they_o o_o lord_n as_o strength_n to_o have_v victory_n and_o to_o triumph_v against_o the_o devil_n the_o world_n and_o the_o flesh_n and_o grant_v that_o whosoever_o be_v here_o dedicate_v to_o thou_o by_o our_o office_n and_o ministry_n may_v also_o be_v endow_v with_o heavenly_a virtue_n and_o everlasting_o reward_v through_o thy_o mercy_n and_o see_v we_o hear_v thy_o most_o dear_o belove_v son_n jesus_n christ_n for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n do_v shed_v out_o of_o his_o most_o precious_a side_n both_o water_n and_o blood_n and_o give_v commandment_n to_o his_o disciple_n that_o they_o shall_v desire_n it_o the_o minister_n may_v add_v viz._n and_o do_v sign_n he_o with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n that_o so_o hereafter_o he_o may_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o confess_v the_o faith_n
