o_o lord_n draw_v my_o heart_n daily_o more_o and_o more_o from_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n whereunto_o the_o most_o be_v so_o fast_o glue_v wean_v my_o soul_n both_o from_o the_o love_n and_o desire_v of_o they_o and_o let_v my_o delight_n be_v in_o thou_o let_v i_o rejoice_v in_o thou_o continual_o yea_o let_v my_o soul_n always_o long_o after_o thou_o and_o in_o comparison_n of_o thou_o esteem_v of_o all_o these_o earthly_a thing_n but_o as_o dross_n &_o mere_a vanity_n a_o true_a discern_v of_o the_o world_n vanity_n make_v man_n willing_a to_o leave_v it_o and_o desirous_a of_o a_o of_o it_o such_o either_o have_v never_o a_o true_a sight_n of_o the_o vanity_n of_o all_o thing_n here_o below_o and_o of_o the_o wretchedness_n and_o misery_n whereunto_o man_n even_o the_o best_a be_v subject_n in_o this_o life_n or_o else_o they_o never_o indeed_o full_o taste_v of_o the_o blessedness_n and_o felicity_n of_o the_o life_n to_o come_v even_o those_o endless_a joy_n and_o unspeakable_a glory_n which_o be_v prepare_v and_o reserve_v for_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n or_o if_o they_o have_v in_o some_o sort_n taste_v of_o this_o heavenly_a gift_n yet_o without_o any_o certainty_n or_o assurance_n that_o it_o belong_v unto_o they_o and_o that_o their_o right_n and_o portion_n shall_v be_v in_o it_o and_o therefore_o can_v not_o be_v so_o sound_o affect_v with_o it_o as_o thereby_o to_o be_v bring_v into_o a_o true_a dislike_n and_o contempt_n of_o this_o present_a evil_a world_n which_o notwithstanding_o at_o least_o they_o wouâ—d_v seem_v to_o be_v out_o of_o love_n with_o the_o man_n that_o see_v indeed_o how_o vain_a how_o deceitful_a and_o how_o miserable_a this_o world_n be_v and_o have_v withal_o receive_v the_o first_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o taste_v of_o the_o sweetness_n &_o blessedness_n of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o also_o know_v that_o the_o assurance_n of_o the_o promise_n thereof_o be_v for_o a_o time_n for_o our_o convenient_a or_o necessary_a use_n and_o be_v now_o call_v for_o again_o by_o the_o right_a owner_n of_o they_o so_o that_o to_o be_v unwilling_a to_o return_v they_o pleasure_n even_o theft_n and_o robbery_n against_o the_o high_a what_o mean_v it_o they_o that_o many_o be_v so_o loath_a to_o restore_v the_o thing_n which_o god_n have_v give_v they_o the_o use_n of_o for_o a_o while_n and_o now_o require_v of_o they_o again_o what_o mean_v it_o that_o many_o be_v so_o grieve_v to_o part_n with_o those_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n have_v lend_v they_o until_o such_o time_n as_o he_o shall_v call_v for_o they_o yea_o why_o be_v it_o that_o many_o complain_v so_o grievous_o as_o if_o they_o be_v great_o injure_v or_o have_v very_o hard_a measure_n offer_v unto_o they_o when_o the_o lord_n take_v from_o they_o their_o wife_n their_o child_n their_o friend_n their_o good_n their_o land_n live_n or_o their_o life_n itself_o be_v they_o their_o own_o and_o not_o god_n why_o then_o shall_v they_o sin_v against_o he_o by_o repine_v that_o they_o can_v keep_v they_o against_o his_o will_n have_v he_o give_v unto_o they_o the_o use_n of_o they_o it_o be_v continual_o with_o manifold_a vexation_n and_o distraction_n the_o only_a way_n to_o live_v peaceable_o and_o joyful_o be_v to_o lead_v a_o holy_a and_o a_o religious_a life_n in_o all_o sincerity_n and_o uprightness_n this_o bring_v with_o it_o that_o sweet_a peace_n and_o that_o inward_a solace_n and_o joy_n which_o the_o world_n can_v give_v o_o bless_a lord_n the_o day_n of_o this_o my_o pilgrimage_n be_v few_o and_o evil_a make_v they_o comfortable_a unto_o i_o i_o humble_o pray_v thou_o by_o lead_v i_o forward_o in_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n and_o true_a exceed_o pensive_a and_o grieve_v out_o of_o measure_n as_o though_o no_o great_a evil_n can_v befall_v us._n but_o if_o we_o be_v clean_o out_o of_o the_o love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n than_o which_o there_o can_v be_v no_o great_a misery_n if_o we_o be_v not_o regard_v of_o he_o but_o be_v vile_a in_o his_o sight_n such_o as_o by_o reason_n of_o our_o sin_n he_o do_v loath_a and_o abhor_v of_o these_o evil_n and_o misery_n we_o make_v no_o account_n of_o they_o we_o be_v little_a seldom_o or_o never_o trouble_v with_o the_o meditation_n and_o remembrance_n of_o they_o the_o fear_n and_o danger_n of_o they_o do_v not_o strike_v our_o soul_n with_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n nor_o make_v we_o so_o pensive_a and_o heavy_a as_o the_o fear_n and_o dread_n of_o far_o lesser_a evil_n do_v we_o grieve_v more_o at_o the_o loss_n of_o the_o favour_n and_o countenance_n of_o man_n yea_o of_o carnal_a and_o worldly_a man_n then_o of_o that_o glorious_a and_o immortal_a god_n who_o love_a expect_v thus_o his_o gain_n will_v be_v exceed_o great_a in_o that_o wherein_o to_o other_o he_o may_v seem_v to_o suffer_v some_o loss_n &_o much_o to_o prejudice_n himself_o o_o lord_n grant_v i_o beseech_v thou_o that_o i_o may_v every_o day_n be_v more_o humble_v with_o the_o sight_n of_o my_o own_o unworthines_n of_o my_o spiritual_a poverty_n and_o beggarlines_n that_o so_o it_o may_v heart_n with_o the_o sprinkle_n of_o the_o blood_n of_o that_o immaculate_a lamb_n christ_n jesus_n the_o righteous_a purge_v i_o daily_o more_o and_o more_o from_o all_o my_o corruption_n even_o those_o which_o be_v most_o secret_a and_o open_a to_o the_o view_n of_o none_o but_o of_o thy_o all-seeing_a majesty_n who_o eye_n pierce_v through_o all_o thing_n and_o see_v and_o discern_v
