suffering_n and_o to_o have_v accompany_v he_o from_o the_o garden_n of_o gethsemene_n where_o he_o be_v in_o his_o agony_n and_o sweat_v drop_n of_o blood_n to_o the_o high_a priest_n house_n thence_o to_o the_o judgement_n hall_n before_o pilate_n thence_o to_o mount_n calvary_n in_o which_o place_n he_o be_v reproach_v spit_v upon_o the_o face_n scourge_v and_o at_o last_o nail_v alive_a to_o the_o cross_n and_o suppose_v he_o speak_v to_o we_o as_o in_o another_o sense_n pilate_n speak_v of_o he_o behold_v your_o king_n behold_v your_o lord_n and_o saviour_n see_v the_o wound_n which_o your_o sin_n have_v give_v i_o see_v how_o they_o have_v tear_v my_o flesh_n and_o despiteful_o use_v i_o but_o the_o unseen_a wound_n the_o inward_a sorrow_n of_o my_o soul_n be_v such_o as_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n can_v conceive_v as_o neither_o have_v the_o eye_n see_v nor_o the_o ear_n hear_v what_o may_v compare_v to_o they_o thus_o have_v your_o lust_n deal_v with_o i_o and_o in_o all_o this_o see_v their_o cruelty_n if_o we_o have_v i_o say_v behold_v our_o bless_a lord_n in_o his_o direful_a suffering_n and_o hear_v he_o thus_o express_v himself_o to_o we_o do_v we_o think_v we_o can_v still_o cherish_v and_o entertain_v hug_v and_o embrace_v those_o enemy_n of_o his_o which_o have_v put_v he_o to_o all_o this_o shame_n and_o torment_v but_o if_o we_o have_v a_o inward_a knowledge_n and_o feel_n of_o christ_n crucify_v it_o will_v most_o undoubted_o inflame_v we_o into_o a_o just_a indignation_n against_o those_o lust_n which_o suck_v the_o lifeblood_n of_o christ_n which_o slay_v and_o crucify_v the_o lord_n of_o glory_n we_o shall_v say_v concern_v they_o what_o the_o jew_n cry_v concern_v he_o away_o with_o they_o away_o with_o they_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o live_v let_v these_o murderer_n of_o the_o just_a one_o die_v the_o death_n but_o let_v jesus_n live_v and_o let_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n be_v manifest_v in_o we_o how_o can_v that_o be_v long_a sweet_a to_o i_o which_o make_v christ_n cup_n so_o exceed_o bitter_a how_o can_v i_o delight_v in_o that_o which_o make_v his_o soul_n sorrowful_a unto_o death_n how_o shall_v that_o be_v my_o pleasure_n which_o be_v his_o pain_n and_o put_v he_o to_o grief_n such_o grief_n that_o there_o be_v no_o sorrow_n like_a unto_o his_o sorrow_n how_o shall_v i_o glory_v in_o that_o which_o put_v he_o to_o such_o a_o open_a shame_n 3._o the_o death_n and_o suffering_n of_o christ_n be_v powerful_a to_o raise_v the_o soul_n to_o the_o great_a degree_n of_o love_n and_o gratitude_n we_o have_v already_o show_v
