spend_v be_v go_v therefore_o the_o less_o the_o better_a always_o provide_v there_o be_v a_o discreet_a care_n have_v of_o our_o health_n and_o of_o the_o credit_n of_o the_o place_n we_o hold_v company_n and_o instruction_n in_o egypt_n now_o jacob_n be_v not_o a_o ordinary_a father_n but_o a_o notable_a patriarch_n and_o a_o holy_a prophet_n in_o who_o family_n god_n have_v place_v his_o visible_a church_n in_o those_o day_n wherein_o jacob_n be_v the_o lord_n prophet_n and_o minister_n now_o joseph_n both_o in_o his_o young_a age_n and_o also_o after_o his_o father_n come_v to_o egypt_n do_v hear_v and_o learn_v of_o he_o the_o way_n of_o god_n and_o by_o that_o mean_n come_v to_o this_o excellent_a faith_n for_o which_o he_o be_v so_o commend_v here_o and_o match_v with_o his_o father_n the_o holy_a patriarch_n hence_o we_o learn_v that_o the_o preach_n of_o god_n word_n by_o his_o minister_n though_o extraordinary_a mean_n as_o revelation_n and_o vision_n be_v want_v be_v sufficient_a to_o bring_v a_o man_n to_o faith_n yea_o to_o such_o a_o faith_n as_o the_o three_o patriarch_n have_v indeed_o in_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n he_o which_o speak_v unto_o we_o be_v but_o a_o man_n as_o other_o be_v but_o yet_o the_o word_n which_o he_o deliver_v be_v not_o his_o own_o but_o the_o mighty_a word_n of_o god_n and_o look_v what_o be_v true_o pronounce_v by_o he_o unto_o we_o out_o of_o god_n word_n the_o same_o be_v as_o certain_o seal_v unto_o we_o by_o his_o spirit_n as_o if_o god_n himself_o from_o heaven_n shall_v extraordinary_o reveal_v the_o same_o and_o howsoever_o in_o former_a time_n man_n have_v vision_n and_o dream_n and_o angel_n from_o god_n himself_o to_o reveal_v his_o will_n unto_o they_o yet_o this_o ministry_n of_o god_n want_v the_o love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n &_o shall_v lose_v his_o soul_n for_o the_o ransom_n whereof_o all_o the_o world_n can_v do_v nothing_o wherefore_o we_o must_v hereby_o be_v admonish_v to_o have_v more_o care_n to_o get_v and_o maintain_v true_a religion_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n than_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n beside_o now_o because_o nature_n will_v judge_v it_o a_o part_n of_o rashness_n to_o refuse_v life_n when_o it_o be_v offer_v therefore_o to_o prevent_v this_o conceit_n against_o these_o believer_n the_o holy_a ghost_n set_v down_o a_o notable_a reason_n of_o this_o their_o fact_n to_o wit_n they_o refuse_v deliverance_n that_o they_o may_v receive_v a_o better_a resurrection_n many_o interpreter_n understand_v these_o word_n of_o the_o resurrection_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n simple_o as_o though_o the_o holy_a ghost_n have_v say_v these_o martyr_n therefore_o refuse_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o death_n because_o they_o look_v to_o receive_v at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n a_o great_a measure_n of_o glory_n even_o for_o this_o that_o in_o obedience_n to_o god_n for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o true_a religion_n they_o be_v content_a to_o lay_v down_o their_o life_n this_o no_o doubt_n be_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n that_o the_o more_o we_o humble_v ourselves_o in_o suffer_v for_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n in_o this_o life_n the_o great_a shall_v our_o glory_n be_v at_o the_o general_a resurrection_n for_o our_o light_a affliction_n which_o be_v but_o for_o a_o moment_n cause_v unto_o we_o a_o far_o more_o excellent_a and_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n 2._o cor._n 4.17_o and_o yet_o as_o i_o take_v it_o that_o be_v not_o the_o meaning_n of_o these_o word_n but_o their_o resurrection_n at_o the_o last_o day_n be_v here_o term_v better_o than_o the_o temporal_a deliverance_n offer_v unto_o they_o for_o be_v in_o torment_n on_o the_o rack_n they_o be_v but_o dead_a man_n and_o when_o life_n be_v offer_v unto_o they_o it_o be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o resurrection_n and_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o church_n a_o good_a resurrection_n but_o for_o that_o they_o will_v not_o lose_v the_o comfort_n of_o resurrection_n to_o life_n at_o the_o last_o day_n here_o then_o be_v two_o resurrection_n compare_v together_o the_o first_o be_v a_o deliverance_n from_o temporal_a death_n the_o second_o be_v a_o rise_n to_o life_n everlasting_a at_o the_o last_o day_n of_o judgement_n now_o of_o these_o two_o the_o late_a be_v the_o better_a and_o that_o in_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n servant_n and_o martyr_n so_o then_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o these_o word_n be_v this_o these_o servant_n of_o god_n refuse_v deliverance_n from_o temporal_a torture_n and_o punishment_n because_o their_o care_n and_o desire_n be_v that_o their_o body_n may_v rise_v again_o to_o life_n everlasting_a at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n which_o rise_v again_o to_o life_n at_o that_o day_n they_o judge_v far_o better_a than_o to_o rise_v to_o a_o temporal_a life_n for_o a_o while_n in_o this_o world_n this_o reason_n well_o observe_v may_v teach_v we_o these_o two_o special_a duty_n first_o to_o be_v careful_a above_o all_o thing_n for_o assurance_n in_o our_o conscience_n as_o these_o servant_n of_o god_n have_v that_o our_o body_n shall_v rise_v again_o to_o life_n everlasting_a at_o the_o last_o day_n true_a it_o be_v we_o make_v this_o confession_n with_o our_o mouth_n among_o the_o article_n of_o our_o faith_n but_o we_o must_v labour_v to_o be_v settle_v and_o resolve_v effectual_o in_o our_o heart_n that_o
