question_n be_v not_o about_o the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o word_n of_o institution_n but_o about_o the_o presence_n of_o christ_n body_n yet_o touch_v the_o interpretation_n and_o meaning_n of_o these_o word_n of_o the_o institution_n in_o which_o there_o be_v no_o mention_n at_o all_o neither_o of_o presence_n nor_o absence_n but_o herein_o only_o shall_v they_o consist_v whether_o that_o body_n of_o which_o that_o bread_n be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o sacrament_n be_v absent_a or_o present_a which_o controversy_n i_o can_v not_o so_o much_o as_o suppose_v how_o these_o man_n shall_v to_o be_v ready_a to_o remit_v for_o if_o man_n offend_v we_o we_o do_v in_o as_o great_a point_n offend_v other_o and_o though_o that_o be_v not_o true_a yet_o we_o can_v deny_v but_o that_o we_o do_v more_o high_o displease_v almighty_a god_n than_o man_n can_v or_o do_v displease_v we_o and_o that_o not_o only_o in_o the_o notoriousnesse_n of_o our_o sin_n but_o even_o in_o a_o daily_a and_o continual_a course_n of_o iniquity_n and_o in_o a_o infinite_a multitude_n of_o transgression_n also_o what_o a_o fearful_a thing_n will_v this_o be_v in_o our_o own_o heart_n that_o we_o will_v manifest_v in_o this_o life_n and_o in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o therefore_o i_o beseech_v all_o the_o godly_a that_o have_v care_n of_o their_o salvation_n to_o look_v heedilie_o to_o this_o point_n meditation_n which_o be_v the_o second_o thing_n and_o be_v to_o be_v use_v special_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o celebration_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n consist_v chief_o in_o these_o point_n to_o wit_n in_o regard_v the_o outward_a element_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o bread_n and_o the_o wine_n and_o in_o consider_v the_o rite_n use_v in_o and_o about_o the_o same_o as_o the_o break_n of_o the_o bread_n and_o the_o pour_v forth_o of_o the_o wine_n and_o so_o forth_o for_o though_o the_o outward_a thing_n be_v not_o the_o matter_n that_o we_o shall_v stand_v upon_o yet_o because_o by_o they_o it_o please_v the_o lord_n as_o it_o be_v by_o the_o hand_n to_o lead_v we_o unto_o right_a excellent_a thing_n namely_o by_o they_o to_o set_v forth_o unto_o our_o soul_n the_o crucifieng_v of_o christ_n body_n the_o shed_n of_o his_o blood_n and_o so_o forth_o and_o all_o for_o our_o transgression_n that_o therefore_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v sleightlie_o pass_v over_o without_o very_o deep_a and_o due_a consideration_n of_o the_o same_o and_o then_o because_o we_o must_v not_o stay_v below_o on_o the_o earth_n nor_o be_v busy_v in_o spiritual_a banquet_n which_o though_o partly_o for_o the_o worthiness_n of_o the_o giver_n and_o partly_o also_o for_o the_o excellency_n of_o themselves_o as_o also_o by_o the_o want_n and_o weakness_n of_o our_o blind_a and_o dull_a understanding_n they_o can_v be_v sufficient_o conceive_v much_o less_o utter_v may_v yet_o in_o my_o mind_n be_v bring_v into_o these_o four_o point_n be_v grace_n nourish_v our_o soul_n yea_o i_o say_v more_o very_o because_o that_o though_o some_o part_n of_o the_o bread_n and_o wine_n we_o receive_v be_v turn_v into_o our_o healthful_a and_o profitable_a nourishment_n and_o be_v become_v as_o it_o be_v part_n of_o our_o substance_n yet_o some_o of_o it_o also_o pass_v through_o the_o paunch_n into_o the_o privy_a but_o christ_n remain_v always_o a_o most_o holy_a and_o sound_a nutriment_n unto_o our_o soul_n no_o part_n of_o he_o vanish_v away_o but_o have_v rather_o this_o effect_n in_o we_o that_o he_o be_v not_o only_o turn_v into_o our_o substance_n as_o the_o bodily_a element_n be_v in_o respect_n of_o our_o outward_a man_n but_o rather_o whole_o turn_v we_o as_o a_o man_n will_v say_v into_o his_o most_o holy_a and_o according_a to_o their_o worthiness_n much_o less_o to_o account_v or_o number_v they_o and_o thirdlie_o to_o consider_v ourselves_o receive_v they_o to_o who_o the_o lord_n free_o and_o of_o his_o own_o goodness_n give_v these_o great_a mercy_n not_o only_a when_o we_o have_v not_o deserve_v the_o least_o of_o they_o but_o even_o then_o when_o every_o one_o of_o we_o have_v deserve_v eternal_a death_n and_o condemnation_n to_o be_v pour_v forth_o upon_o we_o and_o we_o 3_o and_o last_o in_o care_n and_o conscience_n of_o a_o most_o holy_a and_o christian_n conversation_n that_o see_v we_o be_v in_o the_o holy_a supper_n make_v partaker_n by_o faith_n of_o christ_n death_n and_o resurrection_n and_o that_o we_o full_o persuade_v ourselves_o by_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o word_n 4.25_o
