assertion_n a_o reason_n of_o the_o assertion_n for_o certain_o if_o we_o conclude_v that_o the_o lord_n supper_n be_v therefore_o superfluous_a because_o we_o receive_v nothing_o therein_o but_o apprehend_v but_o of_o they_o alone_o that_o bring_v with_o they_o that_o same_o spiritual_a and_o only_a fit_a instrument_n to_o apprehend_v christ_n by_o no_o verilye_o and_o yet_o here_o again_o i_o pray_v you_o mark_v how_o great_a the_o strength_n of_o truth_n be_v those_o that_o contend_v so_o stiff_o and_o that_o also_o without_o any_o profit_n to_o the_o church_n about_o unworthy_a communicant_n for_o to_o what_o end_n shall_v we_o travail_v so_o much_o about_o they_o religion_n a_o distinction_n void_a of_o reason_n and_o religion_n do_v notwithstanding_o distinguish_v between_o such_o unworthy_a person_n as_o live_v not_o christianlie_a enough_o or_o otherwise_o be_v not_o sufficient_o prepare_v for_o receive_v of_o the_o supper_n yet_o so_o as_o they_o fear_v the_o bread_n and_o the_o wine_n and_o all_o that_o together_o he_o name_v the_o sacrament_n and_o this_o much_o concern_v the_o word_n itself_o or_o the_o name_n sacrament_n let_v we_o now_o at_o the_o length_n come_v to_o the_o matter_n sith_o now_o therefore_o that_o every_o sacrament_n be_v a_o sign_n we_o must_v needs_o put_v the_o word_n sacrament_n in_o the_o predicament_n of_o relation_n or_o relative_n as_o the_o logician_n call_v they_o that_o be_v among_o such_o thing_n as_o have_v mutual_a respect_n one_o of_o they_o to_o a_o other_o and_o since_o relation_n must_v needs_o be_v amongst_o sundry_a thing_n which_o have_v mutual_a respect_n one_o of_o they_o to_o a_o other_o we_o must_v therefore_o of_o necessity_n confess_v that_o in_o the_o sacrament_n there_o be_v a_o sign_n and_o the_o thing_n signify_v neither_o when_v i_o deliver_v these_o 2_o part_n which_o indeed_o do_v meet_v or_o whereof_o in_o truth_n all_o sacrament_n do_v consist_v do_v i_o shut_v out_o the_o word_n august_n august_n let_v the_o word_n say_v augustine_n come_v unto_o the_o element_n and_o it_o shall_v become_v a_o sacrament_n i_o do_v not_o therefore_o exclude_v or_o
