life_n and_o therefore_o those_o that_o have_v heretofore_o live_v in_o idolatry_n wantonness_n drunkenness_n note_n note_n see_v now_o they_o have_v get_v a_o new_a name_n and_o profession_n must_v walk_v after_o a_o new_a sort_n holy_o and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n exhort_v in_o another_o place_n after_o this_o sort_n you_o live_v not_o now_o in_o darkness_n but_o 4._o 1._o thess_n 5._o 4._o by_o the_o gospel_n be_v call_v to_o the_o light_n of_o the_o gospel_n now_o man_n in_o darkness_n have_v on_o ragged_a garment_n but_o in_o the_o light_n will_v go_v more_o clean_o and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n say_v they_o that_o be_v drink_v be_v drink_v 7._o 1._o thess_n 5._o 7._o in_o the_o night_n but_o now_o that_o you_o be_v call_v to_o the_o gospel_n your_o light_n can_v never_o go_v down_o in_o that_o regard_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v a_o shame_n for_o you_o to_o give_v yourselves_o to_o drunkenness_n uncleanness_n covetousness_n malice_n evil_o speak_v etc._n etc._n so_o that_o it_o be_v a_o more_o fearful_a sin_n which_o be_v commit_v under_o the_o gospel_n thrust_v away_o all_o the_o word_n signify_v a_o violent_a thrust_v away_o a_o thing_n with_o hatred_n doctrine_n doct._n we_o learn_v that_o we_o be_v to_o loathe_v and_o to_o abhor_v and_o cast_v away_o sin_n from_o us._n and_o there_o be_v a_o great_a cause_n we_o shall_v abhor_v sin_n which_o be_v a_o most_o abominable_a thing_n which_o the_o prophet_n describe_v speak_v of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n 4._o esay_n 4._o 4._o to_o his_o child_n say_v god_n will_v wash_v away_o their_o blood_n and_o not_o only_o that_o but_o their_o filth_n viz_o compare_v it_o to_o dung_n and_o the_o most_o filthy_a excrement_n which_o can_v come_v from_o us._n so_o that_o if_o we_o can_v abide_v our_o excrement_n nor_o the_o savour_n of_o the_o excrement_n of_o other_o much_o more_o ought_v we_o to_o abhor_v this_o which_o be_v more_o detestable_a and_o therefore_o if_o we_o be_v in_o our_o sweet_n and_o fine_a apparel_n and_o yet_o have_v these_o about_o we_o what_o be_v we_o but_o most_o loathsome_a and_o abominable_a all_o these_o thing_n here_o be_v a_o notable_a exhortation_n to_o mortification_n by_o the_o which_o we_o may_v learn_v this_o viz_o doctrine_n that_o he_o that_o put_v not_o away_o all_o sin_n that_o be_v
