pleasure_n and_o as_o he_o see_v the_o people_n stand_v in_o need_n of_o they_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o time_n and_o furthermore_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o at_o any_o time_n reveal_v unto_o one_o of_o these_o all_o thing_n that_o may_v be_v reveal_v but_o as_o much_o as_o be_v sufficient_a for_o they_o every_o one_o in_o their_o time_n and_o place_n neither_o have_v any_o of_o they_o tell_v as_o much_o of_o the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o may_v be_v nor_o the_o expound_v of_o his_o law_n but_o the_o patriarch_n have_v leave_v some_o to_o the_o prophet_n and_o the_o prophet_n have_v leave_v some_o to_o the_o apostle_n but_o they_o have_v leave_v none_o for_o we_o but_o they_o have_v all_o left_a open_a the_o whole_a will_n of_o god_n unto_o we_o and_o every_o one_o bring_v gold_n and_o myrrh_n and_o frankensense_n like_o the_o wise_a man_n which_o come_v to_o see_v our_o lord_n there_o be_v three_o thing_n which_o move_v i_o to_o take_v this_o story_n in_o hand_n above_o all_o other_o first_o because_o you_o know_v the_o story_n and_o therefore_o can_v the_o better_o conceive_v of_o the_o matter_n as_o i_o go_v forward_o with_o it_o second_o because_o it_o be_v brief_a and_o do_v contain_v a_o great_a deal_n in_o a_o little_a three_o because_o it_o be_v most_o agreeable_a for_o the_o time_n and_o state_n of_o this_o sinful_a age_n wherein_o we_o live_v and_o therefore_o most_o convenient_a for_o us._n it_o be_v manifest_a that_o jonah_n live_v in_o a_o very_a troublesome_a time_n namely_o in_o the_o time_n of_o jeroboam_fw-la a_o wicked_a preacher_n father_n there_o be_v three_o special_a thing_n contain_v in_o this_o history_n first_o the_o great_a mercy_n of_o god_n express_v in_o this_o that_o he_o send_v a_o prophet_n to_o niniveh_n a_o city_n of_o the_o gentile_n which_o be_v stranger_n from_o the_o covenant_n from_o the_o promise_n and_o stranger_n from_o the_o common_a wealth_n of_o israel_n the_o second_o thing_n be_v jonah_n who_o be_v no_o gentile_a but_o a_o israelite_n which_o know_v his_o master_n will_n what_o it_o be_v do_v yet_o presumptuous_o neglect_v the_o same_o not_o of_o a_o sudden_a desire_n for_o he_o have_v time_n enough_o to_o consider_v what_o he_o do_v and_o yet_o see_v what_o mercy_n do_v the_o lord_n prepare_v a_o great_a whale_n in_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o sea_n where_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o life_n for_o he_o afterward_o the_o lord_n have_v deliver_v he_o out_o of_o the_o whale_n belly_n he_o go_v and_o preach_v at_o niniveh_n so_o zealous_o as_o though_o he_o have_v never_o be_v the_o man_n which_o be_v so_o disobedient_a before_o and_o when_o he_o have_v do_v he_o murmur_v against_o god_n worse_o they_o ever_o he_o do_v and_o all_o because_o he_o spare_v the_o in_o work_v wickedness_n but_o still_o fill_v the_o cup_n of_o all_o abomination_n and_o run_v down_o to_o hell_n with_o as_o much_o speed_n and_o force_v as_o they_o can_v and_o no_o stay_n but_o the_o peril_n of_o death_n and_o jonah_n he_o rebell_v against_o god_n for_o be_v send_v to_o niniveh_n he_o go_v to_o tarshish_n there_o be_v four_o special_a thing_n to_o be_v note_v in_o jonah_n first_o the_o danger_n of_o jonah_n by_o his_o disobedience_n secondlie_o the_o behaviour_n of_o jonah_n in_o the_o whale_n belly_n thirdlie_o the_o grudge_a and_o murmur_v of_o jonah_n against_o the_o lord_n god_n and_o fourthly_a the_o rebuke_v of_o jonah_n by_o god_n for_o his_o impiety_n he_o that_o receive_v a_o prophet_n in_o the_o name_n of_o a_o prophet_n shall_v receyve_v a_o prophet_n reward_n therefore_o let_v we_o prepare_v our_o ear_n to_o hear_v and_o receive_v the_o word_n of_o god_n preach_v by_o his_o minister_n &_o let_v we_o think_v that_o jonah_n be_v come_v
