sweet_a communion_n they_o have_v with_o god_n there_o be_v no_o other_o way_n to_o obtain_v their_o peace_n joy_n comfort_n and_o sweet_a communion_n with_o god_n again_o but_o by_o repentance_n as_o we_o may_v see_v by_o the_o example_n of_o david_n psal_n 51._o quest_n then_o repentance_n do_v not_o cease_v in_o man_n assoon_o as_o they_o be_v justify_v and_o reconcile_v unto_o god_n answ_n no_o assure_o for_o although_o they_o have_v attain_v the_o thing_n their_o soul_n so_o much_o desire_v in_o the_o day_n of_o their_o trouble_n and_o their_o wound_a soul_n be_v heal_v and_o refresh_v grace_n and_o mercy_n through_o christ_n answ_n the_o fault_n be_v in_o man_n who_o through_o the_o corruption_n of_o his_o heart_n resist_v this_o grace_n and_o mercy_n offer_v and_o so_o harden_v his_o heart_n in_o sin_n choose_v rather_o to_o enjoy_v his_o pleasure_n here_o then_o to_o humble_v himself_o to_o walk_v with_o god_n to_o enjoy_v his_o grace_n and_o mercy_n for_o ever_o quest_n have_v the_o elect_a any_o more_o power_n in_o themselves_o than_o other_o to_o repent_v and_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n answ_n no_o none_o at_o all_o but_o repentance_n be_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n as_o we_o say_v before_o and_o it_o be_v he_o that_o by_o his_o spirit_n do_v effect_v this_o great_a work_n in_o they_o 2_o tim._n 2.25_o quest_n why_o do_v not_o god_n give_v repentance_n to_o all_o and_o so_o save_v all_o by_o christ_n that_o so_o all_o man_n may_v for_o ever_o glorify_v and_o praise_v his_o mercy_n answ_n it_o be_v his_o purpose_n from_o all_o eternity_n as_o well_o to_o set_v
