a_o feel_n yet_o shall_v they_o come_v far_o short_a of_o discharge_v their_o duty_n yea_o or_o of_o the_o hundred_o part_n of_o it_o towards_o god_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o all_o that_o ever_o they_o do_v be_v but_o pelt_a trash_n and_o as_o for_o the_o law_n of_o god_n it_o be_v nought_o worth_a with_o they_o and_o yet_o in_o the_o mean_a while_o they_o busy_a their_o head_n about_o their_o own_o invention_n howbeit_o let_v we_o still_o put_v the_o case_n that_o they_o indevor_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o that_o they_o have_v learn_v aright_o to_o do_v the_o thing_n that_o god_n command_v they_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o they_o can_v not_o make_v their_o boast_n that_o they_o be_v come_v to_o the_o perfection_n of_o that_o righteousness_n which_o god_n require_v of_o us._n and_o when_o they_o have_v torment_v themselves_o never_o so_o much_o how_o shall_v they_o be_v able_a to_o serve_v god_n with_o a_o cheerful_a courage_n unless_o they_o know_v themselves_o to_o be_v in_o his_o favour_n notwithstanding_o that_o they_o be_v so_o blameworthy_a before_o he_o but_o as_o for_o we_o we_o on_o our_o side_n be_v able_a to_o serve_v god_n with_o a_o free_a hart_n notwithstanding_o that_o our_o conscience_n find_v fault_n with_o we_o and_o we_o know_v that_o there_o be_v many_o sin_n in_o us._n and_o why_o seem_v to_o be_v a_o vain_a speculation_n or_o fantastical_a conceit_n that_o jesus_n christ_n live_v in_o us._n but_o s._n paul_n bring_v we_o back_o to_o faith_n and_o tell_v we_o that_o although_o our_o life_n be_v corruptible_a to_o outward_a appearance_n and_o we_o subject_a to_o all_o the_o adversity_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o do_v faith_n quicken_v we_o so_o as_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n cease_v not_o to_o make_v we_o partaker_n of_o his_o heavenly_a life_n yea_o and_o in_o very_a deed_n we_o possess_v it_o in_o somuch_o as_o we_o must_v no_o more_o consider_v the_o state_n fear_n of_o god_n who_o give_v themselves_o to_o do_v what_o they_o listen_v therefore_o such_o as_o follow_v their_o own_o swinge_n like_o brute_n beast_n do_v live_v in_o the_o flesh_n but_o in_o this_o place_n saint_n paul_n compare_v this_o outward_a life_n with_o the_o heavenly_a life_n which_o we_o possess_v by_o faith_n for_o how_o shall_v a_o man_n put_v a_o difference_n between_o the_o faithful_a and_o the_o faithless_a as_o well_o the_o one_o sort_n as_o the_o other_o do_v eat_v and_o drink_v sure_o the_o faithful_a do_v eat_v and_o drink_v sober_o yea_o and_o you_o shall_v see_v of_o the_o faithless_a sort_n very_o well_o stay_v and_o not_o give_v to_o any_o drunkenness_n or_o excess_n but_o howsoever_o they_o fare_v a_o man_n will_v deem_v at_o the_o first_o sight_n that_o this_o life_n be_v common_a to_o all_o man_n nevertheless_o the_o faithful_a do_v oftentimes_o drag_v their_o wing_n after_o they_o and_o nothing_o else_o but_o droop_v in_o this_o world_n and_o final_o dye_v as_o well_o as_o all_o other_o man_n then_o if_o a_o man_n look_v but_o upon_o the_o outward_a show_n there_o be_v no_o diversity_n betwixt_o they_o to_o be_v short_a a_o man_n may_v say_v it_o be_v but_o lose_a labour_n to_o believe_v in_o jesus_n christ_n for_o we_o receive_v not_o here_o the_o reward_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o although_o god_n call_v we_o to_o a_o further_a thing_n yet_o have_v we_o all_o one_o common_a and_o like_a life_n in_o respect_n that_o all_o of_o we_o must_v come_v to_o death_n how_o then_o do_v jesus_n christ_n live_v in_o we_o for_o his_o live_n be_v hide_v s._n paul_n bring_v we_o back_o unto_o faith_n now_o remain_v to_o know_v what_o the_o nature_n of_o faith_n be_v it_o be_v to_o behold_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v incomprehensible_a to_o our_o sense_n to_o forsake_v the_o world_n and_o to_o seek_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o to_o hold_v ourselves_o to_o the_o pure_a &_o simple_a word_n that_o proceed_v out_o of_o god_n mouth_n without_o respect_n of_o any_o thing_n that_o we_o can_v perceive_v here_o if_o we_o have_v not_o this_o groundwork_n we_o shall_v never_o understand_v what_o s._n paul_n have_v travel_v over_o all_o the_o world_n up_o &_o down_o it_o shall_v seem_v to_o they_o that_o there_o be_v nowhere_o any_o thing_n else_o than_o the_o very_a dungeon_n of_o death_n &_o yet_o notwithstanding_o that_o miss_n of_o a_o present_a life_n they_o shall_v find_v a_o life_n to_o come_v when_o they_o shall_v have_v nurrish_v it_o in_o their_o heart_n &_o mind_n by_o faith_n we_o see_v they_o that_o the_o prophet_n intent_n be_v to_o draw_v god_n choose_v both_o from_o the_o world_n and_o from_o themselves_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v cleave_v whole_o unto_o he_o and_o the_o thing_n whereunto_o we_o must_v refer_v the_o word_n live_v so_o as_o we_o may_v live_v not_o for_o a_o little_a while_n nor_o for_o a_o day_n nor_o for_o two_o or_o three_o month_n but_o continual_o in_o god_n free_a goodness_n &_o seek_v the_o same_o from_o day_n too_o day_n 3_o even_o to_o the_o end_n and_o although_o our_o life_n be_v hide_v in_o this_o world_n as_o s._n paul_n say_v and_o we_o see_v nothing_o but_o death_n before_o we_o yet_o let_v we_o not_o cease_v too_o repose_v ourselves_o upon_o this_o promise_n that_o our_o life_n be_v sure_a for_o asmuch_o as_o god_n
