in_o such_o a_o way_n wherein_o we_o shall_v acknowledge_v admire_v and_o adore_v the_o love_n and_o mercy_n the_o wisdom_n holiness_n and_o justice_n of_o god_n the_o father_n together_o with_o the_o love_n grace_n condescension_n and_o kindness_n of_o our_o saviour_n and_o redeemer_n god_n give_v salvation_n through_o christ_n and_o his_o redemption_n that_o he_o may_v give_v as_o become_v himself_o so_o as_o become_v a_o infinite_o wise_a holy_a and_o just_a governor_n and_o we_o must_v receive_v or_o partake_v of_o it_o only_o through_o faith_n that_o we_o may_v receive_v it_o as_o become_v ourselves_o that_o be_v as_o become_v miserable_a guilty_a lose_v and_o undo_v sinner_n we_o must_v receive_v the_o salvation_n of_o grace_n in_o such_o a_o way_n wherein_o our_o very_a time_n yea_o in_o the_o same_o act_n acknowledge_v that_o we_o deserve_v to_o be_v condemn_v and_o that_o god_n grace_n free_o bestow_v all_o upon_o we_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o the_o redemption_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o christ_n so_o much_o in_o the_o general_n and_o which_o will_v afford_v light_n for_o the_o solving_a of_o the_o follow_a question_n or_o objection_n obj._n 1_o how_o be_v our_o salvation_n of_o grace_n and_o of_o such_o free_a grace_n when_o it_o be_v not_o without_o the_o merit_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o christ_n when_o so_o great_a a_o price_n as_o the_o life_n and_o blood_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n be_v exact_v by_o god_n and_o pay_v by_o christ_n for_o the_o purchase_n of_o it_o ans._n the_o socinian_o will_v easy_o answer_v this_o in_o their_o way_n for_o they_o say_v that_o our_o pardon_n and_o salvation_n be_v mere_o a_o act_n of_o dominion_n and_o favour_n and_o not_o procure_v by_o the_o suffering_n of_o christ_n as_o a_o punishment_n and_o satisfaction_n for_o our_o sin_n for_o they_o say_v that_o christ_n suffering_n be_v no_o punishment_n for_o our_o sin_n nor_o any_o proper_a satisfaction_n to_o divine_a justice_n and_o that_o our_o sin_n be_v no_o antecedent_n inpulsive_a cause_n of_o christ_n suffer_v nor_o his_o suffering_n any_o meritorious_a cause_n of_o our_o pardon_n or_o salvation_n but_o this_o can_v be_v admit_v without_o subvert_v the_o whole_a gospel_n and_o destroy_v the_o very_a foundation_n of_o the_o christian_a religion_n for_o this_o make_v the_o whole_a mediation_n death_n and_o suffering_n of_o christ_n to_o be_v in_o vain_a or_o of_o very_o little_a use_n for_o they_o assign_v but_o little_a if_o any_o thing_n more_o to_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n then_o what_o may_v be_v attribute_v to_o the_o death_n and_o suffering_n of_o the_o martyr_n this_o therefore_o must_v be_v acknowledge_v that_o the_o death_n and_o suffering_n of_o christ_n be_v a_o punishment_n for_o our_o sin_n a_o salvation_n of_o sinner_n 2._o what_o be_v the_o reason_n and_o use_v of_o christ_n suffering_n 1._o god_n in_o the_o business_n of_o redemption_n be_v to_o be_v consider_v principal_o as_o the_o supreme_a ruler_n and_o governor_n of_o the_o world_n infinite_o wise_a holy_a and_o just_a who_o be_v great_o offend_v and_o provoke_v by_o sin_n and_o his_o law_n and_o government_n slight_v despise_v and_o trample_v upon_o by_o sinner_n and_o yet_o of_o his_o own_o infinite_o good_a and_o gracious_a nature_n be_v propense_a and_o incline_v to_o show_v pity_n and_o mercy_n yea_o to_o
