shortly_n who_o so_o have_v eye_n of_o faith_n see_v that_o true_a believer_n die_v in_o a_o right_a season_n but_o the_o ungodly_a before_o the_o time_n wherefore_o whether_o good_a man_n die_v or_o live_v it_o be_v do_v for_o their_o wealth_n but_o whether_o the_o wicked_a die_n or_o live_v it_o be_v do_v for_o their_o punishment_n &_o always_o shall_v they_o be_v plague_v &_o their_o the_o curse_n come_v upon_o we_o whereof_o it_o be_v write_v jeremy_n 17._o curse_a be_v the_o man_n that_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o man_n for_o all_o man_n help_n be_v to_o be_v suffer_v only_o he_o himself_o nor_o any_o man_n reason_n can_v think_v or_o devise_v and_o though_o he_o do_v it_o not_o yet_o do_v not_o the_o faithful_a despair_n but_o let_v the_o lord_n be_v his_o god_n on_o who_o he_o hope_v that_o be_v at_o who_o hand_n he_o look_v for_o all_o good_a in_o the_o life_n for_o to_o come_v and_o everlasting_a for_o hope_n see_v and_o look_v on_o that_o which_o be_v to_o that_o a_o man_n can_v not_o prevent_v they_o but_o must_v let_v they_o hit_v as_o with_o a_o arrow_n and_o afterward_o restore_v and_o heal_v the_o harm_n with_o great_a travail_n and_o labour_n and_o horrible_a plague_n wherewith_o he_o visit_v &_o punish_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n for_o it_o take_v hold_v of_o life_n unwares_o and_o pluck_v a_o man_n a_o way_n in_o two_o or_o three_o day_n or_o ever_o he_o can_v order_v his_o business_n and_o house_n and_o make_v his_o testament_n créepe_v in_o privy_o in_o the_o dark_a so_o that_o no_o man_n know_v what_o it_o be_v or_o whence_o mist_n it_o may_v be_v see_v and_o avoid_v if_o it_o be_v a_o rain_n a_o man_n may_v cover_v himself_o for_o it_o but_o now_o it_o be_v a_o secret_a misfortune_n that_o créepe_v in_o privy_o so_o that_o it_o can_v neither_o be_v see_v nor_o hear_v neither_o smell_v nor_o taste_v till_o it_o have_v do_v thou_o harm_n therefore_o the_o more_o dangerous_a and_o noisome_a that_o the_o plague_n of_o the_o same_o at_o our_o left_a side_n &_o ten_o thousand_o at_o our_o right_a side_n yet_o shall_v it_o not_o reach_v unto_o we_o if_o we_o do_v but_o believe_v this_o promise_n and_o let_v it_o be_v our_o spear_n and_o shield_n for_o if_o we_o so_o do_v then_o shall_v such_o poison_a arrow_n either_o not_o hit_v we_o at_o all_o or_o else_o not_o wound_v we_o to_o death_n four_o god_n will_v also_o preserve_v his_o child_n from_o the_o sickness_n that_o destroy_v in_o the_o noon_n day_n for_o the_o noon_n day_n when_o the_o sun_n be_v at_o the_o strong_a be_v cause_n of_o much_o heat_n and_o feverous_a sickness_n special_o in_o those_o country_n where_o the_o sun_n rise_v high_a and_o come_v nigh_o over_o man_n head_n for_o great_a heat_n bring_v much_o sweat_n consume_v and_o alter_v the_o blood_n cause_v inordinate_a drink_n and_o make_v that_o the_o people_n be_v glad_a to_o cool_v themselves_o again_o foolish_o and_o thereout_o arise_v all_o manner_n of_o perilous_a disease_n which_o be_v not_o very_a unlike_o the_o sickness_n of_o the_o pestilence_n now_o whether_o it_o be_v fear_n of_o the_o night_n or_o arrow_n of_o the_o day_n whether_o it_o be_v pestilence_n or_o sickness_n that_o come_v by_o the_o evil_a south-winde_n or_o what_o plague_n soever_o that_o lie_v upon_o the_o world_n because_o of_o their_o sin_n god_n the_o lord_n will_v preserve_v his_o faithful_a therfrom_n or_o delyver_v they_o from_o it_o and_o that_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v so_o certain_o and_o so_o wonderful_o that_o as_o the_o psalmist_n and_o our_o prophet_n say_v though_o a_o thousand_o fall_n at_o thy_o left_a side_n and_o ten_o thousand_o at_o thy_o right_a side_n yet_o shall_v it_o not_o touch_v thou_o this_o be_v doubtless_o a_o love_a merciful_a comfortable_a and_o fair_a promise_n whereon_o our_o hart_n by_o reason_n shall_v trust_v and_o chieslie_a rejoice_n in_o the_o same_o for_o he_o that_o speak_v it_o be_v only_o almighty_a and_o most_o true_a therefore_o we_o shall_v with_o reason_n give_v credence_n unto_o he_o for_o we_o can_v do_v god_n no_o great_a dishonour_n then_o to_o despair_v in_o his_o holy_a word_n we_o ought_v therefore_o to_o be_v much_o more_o afraid_a of_o that_o inordinate_a fear_n then_o of_o death_n itself_o for_o death_n can_v not_o hurt_v we_o in_o asmuch_o as_o we_o through_o baptism_n be_v graff_v and_o bury_v unto_o like_a death_n with_o christ_n but_o fearfulness_n which_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o unbelief_n may_v harm_v we_o and_o bring_v we_o into_o imprudence_n wherefore_o my_o most_o dear_o belove_v take_v these_o promise_n to_o heart_n strengthen_v your_o heart_n mind_n and_o understand_v therewith_o and_o be_v not_o faint_a heart_a so_o shall_v you_o prove_v by_o experience_n that_o god_n be_v true_a and_o faithful_o perform_v that_o which_o he_o promise_v and_o that_o you_o may_v the_o more_o easy_o believe_v it_o i_o will_v declare_v it_o unto_o your_o charity_n by_o a_o similitude_n how_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v &_o whence_o it_o spring_v that_o a_o right_n faithful_a christian_a man_n may_v be_v safe_a and_o free_a from_o all_o these_o plague_n for_o it_o be_v good_a to_o understande_v and_o comfortable_a to_o know_v your_o charity_n see_v and_o proove_v daily_o by_o experience_n how_o mighty_a &_o horrible_a a_o thing_n the_o darkness_n
