the_o substance_n of_o bread_n and_o wine_n but_o that_o that_o vanish_v away_o &_o that_o there_o come_v in_o the_o place_n thereof_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o lord_n body_n and_o blood_n because_o that_o outward_a shape_n or_o form_n of_o a_o horse_n or_o of_o a_o ox_n can_v beget_v in_o his_o mind_n the_o conceit_n portraiture_n or_o image_n of_o a_o man_n although_o all_o these_o manner_n and_o kind_n of_o signification_n this_o be_v that_o we_o speak_v of_o for_o this_o be_v object_v against_o we_o partly_o by_o some_o that_o know_v not_o what_o be_v deliver_v and_o teach_v in_o our_o church_n and_o partly_o by_o other_o some_o that_o do_v malicious_o slander_v we_o that_o we_o say_v we_o set_v out_o to_o be_v behold_v in_o the_o sacrament_n as_o it_o be_v a_o vain_a picture_n or_o a_o certain_a dead_a image_n that_o may_v stir_v up_o in_o we_o the_o remembrance_n of_o christ_n when_o yet_o notwithstanding_o

as_o in_o respect_n of_o we_o and_o for_o our_o weakness_n sake_n we_o have_v more_o of_o our_o sense_n satisfy_v in_o and_o by_o the_o use_n of_o the_o element_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n as_o for_o example_n our_o sight_n our_o taste_n our_o feel_n yea_o and_o our_o hear_n also_o while_o that_o in_o the_o delivery_n and_o partake_v thereof_o christ_n death_n be_v preach_v unto_o we_o than_o we_o have_v in_o the_o word_n which_o be_v direct_v only_o to_o the_o ear_n or_o hear_n 2_o secondlie_o that_o this_o holy_a sacrament_n do_v not_o only_o direct_v our_o faith_n to_o the_o death_n and_o be_v not_o touch_v the_o plain_a word_n of_o the_o text_n and_o the_o almighty_a power_n of_o christ_n as_o god_n for_o be_v it_o far_o from_o we_o to_o be_v so_o absurd_a as_o to_o draw_v thing_n of_o such_o evidency_n and_o excellency_n into_o question_n but_o we_o strive_v rather_o as_o for_o the_o true_a sense_n &_o natural_a meaning_n of_o the_o word_n so_o for_o the_o verity_n of_o christ_n person_n and_o the_o essential_a property_n of_o either_o his_o distincted_a nature_n yet_o we_o can_v but_o both_o for_o the_o strengthen_n of_o they_o that_o be_v weak_a and_o ignorant_a in_o the_o same_o as_o also_o for_o the_o discharge_n of_o our_o conscience_n before_o god_n and_o man_n but_o in_o a_o word_n or_o two_o as_o it_o be_v make_v a_o short_a but_o withal_o a_o sound_n sufficient_a and_o true_a answer_n i_o hope_v to_o every_o one_o of_o these_o three_o severallie_o and_o by_o themselves_o 1_o the_o first_o place_n object_v be_v these_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n of_o such_o great_a weight_n that_o the_o former_a without_o it_o be_v little_o available_a for_o even_o as_o in_o all_o humane_a science_n knowledge_n though_o it_o be_v never_o so_o exquisite_a be_v without_o action_n &_o practice_v common_o count_v but_o a_o vain_a conceit_n so_o in_o spiritual_a understanding_n that_o be_v much_o more_o true_a because_o if_o a_o man_n know_v never_o so_o much_o of_o god_n mercy_n and_o meditate_v never_o so_o deep_o in_o the_o same_o yet_o if_o that_o by_o the_o same_o he_o be_v not_o lead_v as_o it_o be_v by_o the_o hand_n both_o humble_o to_o praise_n god_n this_o duty_n that_o we_o believe_v to_o be_v acceptable_a to_o he_o because_o he_o have_v command_v it_o and_o so_o profitable_a unto_o ourselves_o because_o it_o reach_v unto_o every_o part_n and_o period_n or_o state_n of_o our_o whole_a life_n 2_o second_o in_o humble_a thanksgiving_n as_o for_o all_o the_o unestimable_a riches_n and_o treasure_n of_o grace_n and_o goodness_n general_o
