all_o bring_v into_o the_o world_n with_o we_o in_o we_o which_o be_v call_v the_o body_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o flesh_n col._n 2.11_o in_o who_o also_o you_o be_v circumcise_v with_o the_o circumcision_n make_v without_o hand_n in_o put_v off_o the_o body_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o this_o be_v that_o which_o be_v term_v the_o body_n of_o sin_n rom._n 6.6_o know_v this_o all_o member_n have_v not_o the_o same_o office_n so_o be_v the_o mystical_a body_n of_o christ_n his_o church_n and_o thus_o be_v it_o with_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n it_o have_v divers_a part_n and_o member_n and_o therefore_o may_v be_v call_v in_o that_o place_n to_o the_o colossian_n even_o now_o cite_v the_o body_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o flesh_n there_o be_v pride_n hatred_n hypocrisy_n corrupt_a nature_n and_o it_o may_v be_v observe_v as_o some_o part_n of_o the_o body_n be_v inward_a not_o ordinary_o see_v or_o easy_a to_o be_v see_v other_o be_v outward_a without_o and_o manifest_a to_o all_o so_o some_o lust_n be_v more_o secret_a and_o not_o so_o common_o or_o easy_o perceive_v as_o other_o be_v which_o daily_o show_v themselves_o as_o also_o the_o be_v and_o subsistence_n or_o life_n of_o the_o body_n lie_v chief_o in_o those_o part_n that_o be_v within_o as_o the_o heart_n liver_n lung_n which_o be_v more_o necessary_a to_o the_o body_n its_o subsist_v than_o the_o outward_a part_n as_o hand_n leg_n so_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n have_v its_o be_v principal_o in_o those_o sin_n that_o be_v more_o secret_a less_o obvious_a such_o as_o hypocrifie_n unbelief_n formality_n covetousness_n vanity_n of_o mind_n these_o be_v as_o the_o heart_n liver_n and_o lung_n of_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n it_o will_v no_o long_o subsist_v be_v there_o nothing_o of_o such_o sin_n within_o we_o whereas_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n may_v and_o oft_o do_v continue_v and_o that_o strong_a and_o lusty_a without_o some_o outward_a more_o manifest_a sin_n such_o as_o drunkenness_n adultery_n swear_v and_o such_o like_a moreover_o a_o man_n have_v all_o the_o member_n of_o his_o body_n from_o the_o womb_n though_o he_o do_v not_o use_v some_o of_o they_o so_o soon_o as_o other_o the_o child_n use_v not_o its_o tongue_n and_o leg_n so_o soon_o as_o its_o eye_n and_o ear_n though_o it_o be_v bear_v with_o they_o all_o so_o we_o bring_v all_o lust_n into_o the_o world_n with_o we_o though_o some_o show_v themselves_o and_o be_v exert_v much_o soon_o than_o other_o as_o pride_n
righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n may_v be_v fulfil_v in_o we_o in_o our_o nature_n for_o we_o who_o walk_v not_o after_o the_o flesh_n but_o after_o the_o spirit_n and_o it_o be_v sure_a we_o do_v walk_v after_o the_o spirit_n if_o we_o mortify_v our_o sin_n through_o the_o spirit_n four_o the_o apostle_n give_v we_o another_o argument_n in_o the_o word_n next_o follow_v my_o text_n rom._n 8.14_o for_o say_v he_o as_o many_o as_o be_v lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n they_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n for_o that_o be_v for_o this_o reason_n it_o must_v be_v so_o that_o if_o we_o through_o the_o spirit_n mortify_v the_o deed_n of_o the_o body_n we_o shall_v live_v because_o we_o so_o do_v be_v lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n which_o ever_o lead_v soul_n lead_v by_o it_o to_o life_n sin_n mortify_v their_o sin_n they_o have_v not_o the_o spirit_n therefore_o can_v act_v through_o it_o but_o if_o we_o do_v destroy_v our_o corruption_n through_o the_o spirit_n than_o we_o be_v god_n countenance_n ever_o and_o anon_o lift_v up_o upon_o we_o we_o shall_v have_v the_o blessing_n of_o god_n all_o thing_n will_v be_v blessed_v to_o we_o many_o affliction_n will_v gracious_o be_v prevent_v those_o that_o come_v will_v be_v sanctify_v to_o we_o so_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o hurt_v we_o spiritual_o no_o more_o than_o the_o fiery_a furnace_n do_v the_o three_o child_n thing_n preach_v to_o they_o a._n other_o thing_n shall_v be_v preach_v and_o that_o chief_o as_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n love_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n etc._n etc._n but_o this_o also_o you_o shall_v die_v if_o etc._n etc._n all_o consideration_n be_v needful_a in_o this_o world_n to_o keep_v we_o awake_v god_n think_v it_o a_o proper_a and_o fit_a argument_n to_o lay_v before_o adam_n be_v a_o honour_n to_o a_o man_n theodosius_n the_o emperor_n be_v high_o commend_v for_o that_o when_o he_o be_v move_v to_o execute_v one_o who_o revile_v he_o he_o say_v that_o be_v it_o in_o his_o power_n he_o have_v rather_o raise_v his_o dead_a enemy_n than_o put_v to_o death_n his_o live_n or_o there_o may_v be_v hope_n that_o a_o man_n enemy_n will_v grow_v better_o in_o time_n if_o spare_v or_o they_o live_v may_v be_v of_o some_o use_n one_o way_n or_o other_o or_o some_o friend_n may_v intercede_v for_o they_o etc._n etc._n but_o if_o you_o let_v go_v your_o sin_n this_o be_v the_o great_a disgrace_n shame_n and_o dishonour_n that_o can_v be_v to_o you_o it_o be_v impossible_a sin_n shall_v grow_v better_o but_o the_o long_o you_o let_v it_o live_v unmortified_a it_o will_v still_o grow_v worse_o as_o to_o you_o sin_n itself_o can_v be_v of_o any_o good_a use_n there_o be_v no_o one_o who_o will_v be_v please_v by_o your_o spare_a sin_n unless_o you_o shall_v take_v satan_n for_o your_o friend_n or_o some_o one_o in_o who_o he_o rule_v nor_o be_v there_o or_o can_v there_o be_v any_o other_o reason_n why_o you_o shall_v forbear_v or_o defer_v to_o seek_v the_o death_n of_o every_o sin_n again_o consider_v the_o small_a sin_n not_o mortify_v be_v far_o worse_a than_o the_o great_a gross_a sin_n that_o have_v never_o so_o oft_o break_v forth_o if_o it_o be_v at_o length_n bring_v under_o for_o the_o least_o deed_n of_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n let_v alone_o be_v mortal_a to_o you_o it_o will_v kill_v you_o but_o the_o great_a be_v mortify_v will_v be_v no_o bar_n to_o or_o at_o all_o prejudice_n your_o salvation_n for_o if_o you_o mortify_v the_o deed_n of_o the_o body_n you_o shall_v live_v how_o great_a heinous_a mighty_a prevail_a and_o provoke_v rise_v again_o not_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n nor_o any_o member_n thereof_o when_o once_o quite_o destroy_v i_o shall_v here_o add_v three_o or_o four_o direction_n beside_o those_o former_o mention_v first_o look_v upon_o and_o account_v this_o to_o be_v one_o end_n of_o all_o god_n providence_n towards_o you_o to_o stir_v you_o up_o to_o this_o duty_n hence_o your_o affliction_n which_o you_o
