though_o live_v in_o the_o world_n be_v you_o subject_a to_o the_o ordinance_n etc._n etc._n it_o be_v a_o dishonourable_a thing_n and_o altogether_o unanswerable_a for_o such_o as_o have_v the_o name_n of_o christ_n call_v upon_o they_o in_o baptism_n and_o therein_o profess_v themselves_o to_o be_v bury_v with_o christ_n from_o thenceforth_o to_o serve_v any_o sin_n in_o the_o lust_n of_o it_o or_o to_o be_v subject_a to_o type_n and_o shadow_n of_o christ_n or_o any_o ordinance_n which_o be_v after_o the_o commandment_n and_o doctrine_n of_o man_n whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a it_o be_v a_o honourable_a and_o a_o glorious_a thing_n for_o believer_n to_o walk_v up_o to_o that_o engagement_n which_o the_o lord_n jesus_n have_v lay_v upon_o they_o and_o they_o have_v take_v upon_o pollution_n or_o filthynesse_n even_o a_o filthy_a pollute_a conscience_n with_o the_o accusation_n of_o it_o and_o work_v in_o they_o more_o abundant_o a_o enlighten_v holy_a good_a conscience_n which_o answer_v or_o speak_v good_a to_o they_o towards_o god_n and_o whether_o that_o scripture_n in_o heb._n 10.22_o may_v not_o agree_v much_o to_o this_o purpose_n i_o leave_v to_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o wise_a neither_o do_v believer_n enjoy_v this_o fruit_n and_o benefit_n in_o the_o present_a administration_n of_o baptism_n only_o but_o this_o grace_n and_o power_n of_o christ_n in_o baptism_n have_v a_o influence_n into_o after_o time_n also_o even_o so_o long_o as_o they_o continue_v in_o the_o estate_n of_o mortality_n the_o four_o and_o last_o thing_n considerable_a to_o my_o purpose_n in_o the_o two_o scripture_n above_o name_v be_v this_o to_o wit_n baptism_n thus_o consider_v be_v part_n of_o that_o completeness_n which_o believer_n have_v in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n col._n 2.10_o where_o the_o apostle_n speak_v to_o believer_n he_o say_v and_o you_o be_v complete_a in_o he_o if_o you_o ask_v in_o what_o manner_n or_o in_o what_o respect_n he_o tell_v we_o in_o all_o respect_n as_o it_o appear_v in_o the_o follow_a verse_n of_o this_o chap._n and_o the_o beginning_n of_o the_o next_o and_o among_o the_o rest_n this_o be_v one_o you_o be_v bury_v with_o he_o in_o baptism_n wherein_o also_o year_n rise_v with_o he_o and_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n be_v that_o rom._n 6.5_o believer_n in_o baptism_n be_v plant_v together_o with_o christ_n mark_v that_o expression_n plant_v together_o with_o he_o in_o the_o likeness_n of_o his_o death_n and_o in_o the_o likeness_n of_o his_o resurrection_n also_o and_o sure_o herein_o be_v the_o completeness_n of_o a_o believer_n to_o be_v plant_v together_o and_o grow_v together_o and_o live_v together_o with_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o therefore_o such_o do_v in_o part_n come_v short_a of_o their_o completeness_n in_o christ_n who_o do_v yet_o come_v short_a of_o be_v baptize_v as_o believer_n in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n thus_o much_o concern_v the_o explication_n of_o the_o three_o privilege_n which_o believer_n have_v in_o baptism_n wherein_o i_o have_v be_v the_o large_a that_o so_o i_o may_v as_o the_o lord_n have_v help_v i_o and_o not_o without_o much_o comfortable_a experience_n through_o christ_n clear_v up_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n in_o it_o partly_o for_o the_o instruction_n consolation_n and_o encouragement_n of_o believer_n partly_o to_o be_v a_o apology_n for_o they_o and_o partly_o to_o be_v another_o touchstone_n or_o trial_n of_o infant_n baptism_n first_o partly_o for_o the_o instruction_n and_o encouragement_n of_o believer_n who_o be_v under_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o this_o ordinance_n upon_o profession_n of_o faith_n in_o their_o own_o person_n much_o have_v be_v speak_v to_o this_o purpose_n in_o the_o explication_n of_o
