be_v find_v and_o see_v he_o be_v make_v governor_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o all_o pray_v we_o he_o that_o he_o will_v govern_v and_o defend_v we_o here_o in_o earth_n by_o the_o assistance_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n till_o we_o all_o meeâ—e_n together_o at_o our_o general_a ascension_n in_o the_o unity_n of_o faith_n and_o acknowledge_v of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n unto_o a_o perfect_a be_v to_o come_v that_o be_v to_o judge_v the_o quick_a and_o the_o dead_a the_o meaning_n of_o this_o article_n be_v this_o i_o that_o be_o a_o christian_a man_n woman_n or_o child_n do_v believe_v assure_o that_o christ_n shall_v come_v again_o visible_o in_o the_o great_a and_o latter_a day_n of_o judgement_n with_o glory_n and_o power_n from_o heaven_n as_o he_o be_v see_v to_o go_v up_o accompany_v with_o his_o holy_a angel_n to_o judge_v all_o the_o world_n most_o just_o both_o those_o that_o be_v already_o dead_a and_o those_o that_o he_o shall_v find_v alive_a at_o his_o come_n and_o that_o none_o shall_v escape_v his_o judgement_n seat_n 2._o cor._n 5._o to_o this_o end_n that_o the_o good_a may_v be_v reward_v with_o everlasting_a life_n and_o immortality_n &_o the_o wicked_a punish_v with_o everlasting_a death_n and_o destruction_n from_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o from_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o power_n 2._o thes_n 1._o the_o lord_n jesus_n even_o in_o this_o life_n do_v show_v and_o set_v forth_o unto_o all_o the_o world_n most_o wonderful_a sign_n and_o token_n both_o of_o his_o mercy_n to_o the_o elect_a and_o justice_n to_o the_o reprobate_a but_o because_o his_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n therefore_o our_o faith_n must_v amount_v high_a to_o consider_v of_o his_o last_o come_n wherein_o he_o shall_v show_v as_o that_o shall_v judge_v with_o unspeakable_a glory_n both_o great_a and_o small_a at_o his_o appearance_n so_o that_o although_o many_o man_n think_v that_o there_o be_v no_o general_a judgement_n yet_o at_o the_o last_o they_o shall_v feel_v that_o this_o judge_n shall_v summon_v they_o all_o to_o appear_v most_o fearful_o before_o his_o imperial_a throne_n of_o majesty_n and_o this_o judgement_n of_o christ_n stand_v with_o good_a reason_n and_o justice_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v open_o see_v and_o perceive_v of_o all_o man_n at_o the_o last_o lest_o either_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n or_o man_n reason_n or_o the_o multitude_n of_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v able_a just_o to_o charge_v we_o as_o they_o do_v most_o unjust_o that_o we_o fain_o to_o ourselves_o a_o god_n a_o lord_n a_o christ_n and_o such_o a_o head_n as_o never_o show_v himself_o nor_o be_v see_v of_o man_n wherefore_o to_o avoid_v this_o slander_n and_o reproach_n of_o the_o blasphemous_a mouth_n which_o say_v where_o be_v now_o your_o god_n let_v he_o show_v himself_o we_o i_o say_v do_v believe_v that_o one_o day_n he_o shall_v come_v to_o judge_v the_o whole_a earth_n for_o this_o we_o must_v all_o appear_v before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o christ_n to_o receive_v every_o man_n according_a to_o his_o work_v which_o he_o have_v do_v here_o in_o his_o body_n whether_o they_o be_v good_a or_o bad_a for_o the_o more_o orderly_a proceed_n in_o this_o matter_n let_v we_o consider_v how_o many_o thing_n be_v necessary_o to_o be_v mark_v in_o this_o judgement_n there_o be_v seven_o point_n to_o be_v observe_v in_o this_o matter_n first_o the_o judgement_n itself_o second_o the_o judge_n three_o the_o person_n that_o shall_v be_v judge_v four_o the_o manner_n of_o this_o judgement_n after_o what_o sort_n it_o shall_v be_v fift_o the_o time_n sixth_o the_o place_n and_o last_o of_o all_o the_o final_a cause_n or_o end_n of_o this_o judgement_n wherefore_o it_o be_v ordain_v and_o reserve_v but_o before_o we_o speak_v of_o these_o thing_n in_o order_n we_o must_v answer_v to_o a_o objection_n which_o be_v common_o make_v of_o the_o unskilful_a and_o unlearned_a against_o this_o judgement_n for_o when_o they_o hear_v of_o this_o judgement_n they_o ask_v to_o what_o end_n it_o shall_v be_v see_v every_o man_n that_o die_v be_v judge_v already_o either_o to_o heaven_n or_o else_o to_o hell_n as_o soon_o as_o the_o breath_n be_v out_o of_o his_o body_n therefore_o it_o may_v seem_v that_o this_o day_n be_v superfluous_a &_o needless_a to_o this_o we_o make_v answer_v that_o judgement_n be_v of_o two_o sort_n for_o there_o be_v a_o particular_a judgement_n and_o a_o general_n in_o the_o particular_a judgement_n of_o god_n every_o man_n be_v judge_v in_o soul_n incontinent_o as_o he_o depart_v this_o life_n but_o this_o be_v for_o the_o soul_n only_o in_o the_o general_a judgement_n both_o the_o body_n &_o soul_n shall_v be_v join_v together_o and_o so_o enter_v either_o into_o joy_n if_o they_o believe_v in_o christ_n or_o into_o pain_n if_o they_o believe_v not_o for_o until_o this_o day_n the_o man_n be_v but_o unperfit_a as_o have_v the_o soul_n only_o in_o bliss_n and_o not_o his_o body_n which_o shall_v in_o this_o judgement_n be_v raise_v up_o and_o put_v unto_o the_o soul_n to_o this_o end_n be_v the_o general_a judgement_n and_o this_o article_n do_v prove_v unto_o we_o the_o resurrection_n of_o our_o body_n for_o if_o all_o must_v be_v judge_v even_o in_o the_o body_n also_o than_o the_o body_n of_o the_o dead_a must_v rise_v again_o and_o come_v to_o judgement_n to_o receive_v in_o their_o body_n either_o everlasting_a life_n to_o immortality_n if_o they_o have_v do_v well_o here_o or_o else_o everlasting_a death_n to_o their_o endless_a pain_n and_o grief_n again_o this_o day_n be_v to_o make_v manifest_a unto_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n every_o man_n estate_n either_o to_o salvation_n or_o condemnation_n for_o all_o shall_v appear_v together_o before_o their_o judge_n visible_o the_o scripture_n do_v make_v mention_n of_o three_o come_n of_o christ_n the_o one_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n among_o the_o to_o our_o conscience_n for_o our_o consolation_n &_o comfort_n the_o use_n of_o this_o doctrine_n yâ—_z christ_n be_v our_o judge_n be_v two_o fold_n either_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o wicked_a or_o else_o as_o concern_v the_o good_a as_o concern_v the_o good_a yâ—_z christ_n shall_v be_v their_o only_a judge_n they_o can_v not_o but_o great_o rejoice_v &_o conceive_v a_o wonderful_a comfort_n that_o their_o saviour_n &_o brother_n shall_v be_v their_o judge_n who_o although_o he_o will_v not_o judge_v partial_o yet_o sure_o be_v a_o brother_n &_o saviour_n yea_o the_o head_n of_o his_o
