heart_n beleevinge_v whereupon_o follow_v the_o seal_n of_o we_o in_o that_o which_o it_o believe_v that_o be_v in_o the_o testimony_n which_o the_o believe_a heart_n give_v of_o he_o in_o who_o it_o be_v thirdlie_o we_o discern_v this_o testimony_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o our_o trouble_n when_o we_o find_v any_o comfort_n or_o peace_n wrought_v in_o our_o heart_n when_o they_o be_v trouble_v or_o any_o joy_n upon_o the_o assurance_n of_o god_n love_n if_o we_o find_v a_o quiet_a calmness_n of_o mind_n with_o patience_n meekness_n and_o rejoice_v in_o tribulation_n upon_o any_o sight_n or_o knowledge_n of_o our_o adoption_n all_o these_o be_v the_o undoubted_a testimony_n of_o the_o spirit_n who_o shed_v abroad_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o our_o heart_n make_v we_o to_o rejoice_v speak_v one_o against_o the_o other_o and_o to_o give_v two_o contrary_a testimony_n for_o while_o these_o two_o go_v together_o and_o be_v not_o sever_v or_o disagree_v it_o be_v oft_o time_n hard_a to_o discern_v the_o one_o from_o the_o other_o but_o if_o we_o can_v find_v they_o separate_v so_o that_o the_o one_o fail_v we_o and_o the_o other_o uphold_v we_o then_o may_v they_o clear_o be_v discern_v and_o this_o come_v to_o pass_v either_o when_o god_n upon_o the_o carnal_a presumption_n of_o our_o heart_n suffer_v we_o to_o fall_v in_o some_o dangerous_a trial_n or_o then_o when_o god_n himself_o seem_v to_o become_v our_o enemy_n so_o that_o the_o heart_n have_v to_o wrestle_v with_o god_n himself_o under_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o wrath_n all_o former_a feel_n of_o his_o mercy_n then_o cease_v of_o the_o first_o we_o have_v example_n in_o peter_n who_o heart_n say_v unto_o he_o that_o no_o danger_n can_v make_v he_o forsake_v christ_n the_o lord_n to_o make_v he_o know_v that_o this_o be_v not_o the_o testimony_n of_o god_n spirit_n but_o a_o carnal_a confidence_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n suffer_v he_o to_o be_v try_v and_o in_o the_o trial_n to_o fall_v and_o speak_v and_o what_o can_v be_v more_o clear_a to_o let_v we_o see_v god_n spirit_n bear_v witness_n that_o god_n have_v not_o forsake_v we_o when_o our_o own_o heart_n say_v the_o contrary_n then_o when_o by_o witness_v this_o the_o spirit_n cause_v we_o against_o the_o distrust_n of_o our_o own_o heart_n to_o pray_v to_o god_n even_o above_o hope_n yet_o under_o hope_n trust_v in_o the_o lord_n as_o do_v abraham_n if_o we_o examine_v ourselves_o what_o have_v be_v the_o estate_n of_o our_o heart_n in_o the_o like_a or_o at_o least_o in_o our_o great_a temptation_n we_o shall_v find_v that_o many_o time_n when_o our_o heart_n have_v speak_v no_o comfort_n unto_o we_o yet_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n have_v draw_v sigh_n and_o cry_v to_o god_n out_o of_o our_o heart_n which_o also_o our_o say_v unto_o god_n 42._o why_o have_v thou_o forget_v i_o behold_v a_o other_o voice_n speak_v unto_o his_o heart_n in_o that_o same_o time_n why_o be_v thou_o vex_v o_o my_o soul_n and_o why_o be_v now_o that_o these_o consolation_n be_v the_o work_n and_o testimony_n of_o god_n spirit_n it_o appear_v by_o that_o reason_n which_o david_n give_v when_o he_o boast_v in_o strong_a confidence_n that_o although_o he_o shall_v walk_v through_o the_o valley_n of_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n yet_o will_v he_o fear_v none_o evil_a say_v 23._o for_o thou_o be_v with_o i_o thy_o rod_n and_o thy_o staff_n they_o comfort_v i_o by_o these_o word_n declare_v that_o the_o experience_n he_o have_v of_o the_o comfort_n which_o god_n spirit_n do_v minister_v unto_o he_o in_o his_o most_o desperate_a trouble_n pass_v even_o then_o when_o his_o own_o spirit_n do_v fail_v he_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o all_o his_o confidence_n against_o all_o future_a trial_n we_o have_v a_o example_n also_o of_o discern_v the_o testimony_n of_o god_n spirit_n from_o the_o testimony_n of_o our_o own_o spirit_n let_v we_o behold_v our_o self_n when_o god_n try_v we_o rather_o than_o when_o he_o make_v our_o mountain_n to_o stand_v strong_a or_o when_o he_o do_v wrestle_v with_o we_o himself_o as_o he_o do_v with_o jacob_n and_o in_o seeminge_v to_o fight_v against_o we_o yet_o do_v sustain_v we_o by_o his_o own_o strength_n in_o we_o when_o our_o strength_n fail_v us._n thus_o i_o have_v as_o distinctlie_o as_o i_o can_v and_o therefore_o somewhat_o more_o large_o than_o a_o epistle_n perhaps_o
