army_n of_o god_n fight_v for_o his_o obedience_n and_o tread_v under_o foot_n those_o that_o rise_v up_o against_o he_o as_o be_v clear_a from_o the_o dust_n and_o ash_n of_o egypt_n fight_v against_o pharo_n again_o if_o we_o shall_v withdraw_v our_o eye_n from_o the_o unreasonable_a creature_n to_o man_n who_o be_v endue_v with_o reason_n what_o i_o pray_v you_o be_v all_o the_o sin_n practice_n of_o sin_n and_o punishment_n for_o sin_n a_o tante_fw-la be_v not_o perfect_a but_o partial_a from_o so_o much_o of_o temptation_n practice_n or_o punishment_n as_o god_n think_v meet_v and_o expedient_a a_o tali_fw-la be_v that_o whereby_o we_o crave_v exemption_n and_o protection_n from_o sin_n of_o grievous_a quality_n such_o as_o we_o call_v presumptuous_a enormous_a heinous_a and_o cry_v sin_n and_o from_o such_o kind_n of_o punishment_n as_o be_v not_o the_o testimony_n of_o god_n love_n but_o rather_o the_o effect_n of_o his_o wrath_n and_o indignation_n now_o see_v deliverance_n in_o effect_n and_o proper_o be_v a_o actual_a release_n from_o evil_a what_o sort_n of_o deliverance_n do_v we_o crave_v here_o be_v it_o that_o we_o call_v â_fw-la toto_fw-la no_o no_o we_o can_v expect_v a_o total_a and_o perfect_a deliverance_n in_o this_o life_n for_o so_o long_o as_o this_o life_n last_v we_o can_v neither_o be_v total_o free_a from_o sin_n nor_o from_o punishment_n notwithstanding_o because_o of_o this_o same_o possibility_n we_o be_v bind_v to_o cry_v for_o our_o perfect_a deliverance_n by_o death_n second_o as_o for_o that_o deliverance_n which_o be_v â_fw-la tanto_fw-la that_o be_v to_o say_v from_o so_o much_o as_o will_v make_v we_o slave_n to_o sin_n or_o punishment_n for_o this_o we_o cry_v in_o these_o word_n and_o this_o deliverance_n we_o be_v command_v to_o desire_v and_o by_o this_o desire_n we_o be_v distinguish_v from_o the_o reprobate_n for_o whilst_o we_o be_v lead_v captive_a to_o satan_n at_o his_o will_n sin_n rule_v not_o though_o dwell_v in_o our_o mortal_a body_n and_o for_o the_o punishment_n the_o lord_n have_v promise_v not_o to_o tempt_v we_o above_o our_o power_n but_o so_o far_o only_o as_o we_o may_v be_v able_a to_o bear_v it_o three_o as_o for_o the_o deliverance_n à _fw-fr tali_fw-la that_o be_v to_o say_v from_o blasphemous_a presumptuous_a and_o cry_v sin_n which_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n from_o these_o and_o such_o as_o these_o we_o cry_v and_o must_v cry_v coutinual_o lord_n deliver_v we_o from_o evil_a use_v know_v further_o that_o whilst_o we_o beg_v of_o god_n a_o deliverance_n from_o evil_a we_o do_v not_o pray_v against_o all_o evil_a of_o sin_n and_o punishment_n but_o so_o much_o of_o punishment_n as_o will_n or_o may_v overwhelm_v we_o and_o such_o sin_n as_o be_v reign_v and_o cry_v in_o we_o shall_v one_o day_n cry_v against_o we_o to_o our_o perpetual_a confusion_n one_o thing_n remain_v to_o wit_n who_o be_v our_o deliverer_n and_o that_o be_v neither_o man_n nor_o angel_n but_o he_o who_o be_v both_o god_n and_o man_n by_o nature_n and_o the_o great_a archangel_n of_o the_o covenant_n by_o office_n in_o who_o three_o thing_n be_v considerable_a his_o right_a and_o title_n to_o do_v it_o his_o wonderful_a power_n in_o do_v of_o it_o and_o last_o the_o exceed_a second_o there_o be_v room_n and_o place_n of_o rest_n last_o postern_n and_o passage_n of_o retire_v serve_v both_o for_o pleasure_n &_o necessity_n so_o be_v it_o in_o this_o build_n &_o spiritual_a edifice_n of_o prayer_n for_o in_o it_o there_o be_v three_o distinct_a and_o several_a station_n a_o preface_n serve_v for_o the_o porch_n six_o several_a petition_n serve_v for_o room_n of_o court_n and_o final_o a_o conclusion_n serve_v for_o a_o postern_n or_o terrace_n from_o whence_o we_o may_v in_o a_o view_n behold_v the_o glory_n and_o beauty_n of_o the_o whole_a palace_n of_o the_o preface_n and_o of_o the_o petition_n we_o have_v speak_v already_o according_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o grace_n give_v we_o from_o above_o it_o rest_v now_o only_o that_o in_o this_o sermon_n we_o take_v a_o view_n of_o the_o conclusion_n and_o from_o it_o draw_v up_o the_o full_a and_o final_a seal_n of_o all_o the_o prayer_n and_o from_o both_o their_o edification_n when_o i_o look_v on_o the_o word_n i_o find_v in_o they_o three_o thing_n remarkable_a first_o their_o inference_n second_o their_o tenor_n and_o scope_n and_o three_o their_o seal_n the_o inference_n be_v in_o the_o word_n for_o the_o tenor_n be_v thou_o be_v the_o kingdom_n power_n and_o glory_n for_o ever_o the_o seal_n in_o the_o word_n amen_o let_v we_o return_v then_o to_o their_o inference_n in_o the_o word_n for._n here_o it_o be_v evident_a that_o this_o conclusion_n or_o last_o part_n of_o the_o prayer_n be_v knit_v and_o tie_v to_o the_o former_a petition_n with_o a_o causal_n particle_n for_o for_o the_o better_a understanding_n whereof_o let_v we_o know_v that_o against_o the_o necessity_n and_o use_n of_o this_o prayer_n prescribe_v unto_o we_o a_o objection_n may_v be_v move_v by_o the_o weakness_n and_o infirmity_n of_o man_n for_o let_v we_o look_v on_o the_o best_a of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n when_o he_o censure_v and_o examine_v his_o own_o soul_n and_o parallele_v his_o give_v that_o due_a obedience_n thereunto_o which_o be_v require_v of_o he_o not_o one_o for_o god_n himself_o have_v thus_o complain_v against_o man_n the_o lord_n look_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o behold_v the_o action_n of_o man_n to_o see_v if_o there_o be_v any_o that_o will_v seek_v after_o he_o and_o do_v good_a and_o he_o can_v find_v none_o no_o not_o one_o against_o this_o it_o be_v that_o the_o prophet_n complain_v in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o for_o his_o sake_n who_o have_v believe_v our_o report_n and_o to_o who_o be_v the_o arm_n of_o god_n revedle_v final_o it_o be_v against_o disobedience_n and_o rebellion_n that_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n have_v so_o deeoply_n sigh_v and_o groan_v for_o their_o deliverance_n david_n can_v say_v alas_o i_o have_v dwell_v toe_n
