faith_n require_v on_o man_n part_n the_o give_v christ_n a_o seed_n and_o eternal_a life_n to_o that_o seed_n be_v the_o condition_n on_o god_n part_n to_o christ_n the_o give_v eternal_a life_n only_o to_o the_o party_n believe_v be_v the_o condition_n on_o god_n part_n in_o the_o other_o so_o that_o the_o reward_n in_o that_o covenant_n be_v large_a than_o the_o reward_n promise_v to_o we_o in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n the_o condition_n run_v thus_o believe_v in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o thou_o shall_v be_v save_v in_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n the_o condition_n run_v thus_o make_v thy_o soul_n a_o offer_n for_o sin_n and_o thou_o shall_v see_v thy_o seed_n answ._n i_o wonder_v at_o the_o learned_a author_n who_o make_v these_o distinction_n i_o can_v be_v of_o his_o mind_n i_o rather_o judge_v the_o difference_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n or_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n lie_v here_o viz._n christ_n have_v tell_v we_o he_o shall_v see_v his_o seed_n or_o have_v a_o seed_n that_o be_v he_o shall_v have_v all_o the_o elect_v bring_v in_o and_o unite_v to_o he_o viz._n be_v sure_a of_o they_o or_o have_v this_o certain_a reward_n and_o not_o leave_v on_o uncertain_a condition_n of_o faith_n and_o obedience_n to_o be_v perform_v by_o the_o miserable_a deprave_a and_o wretched_a creature_n which_o condition_n we_o can_v not_o perform_v and_o if_o this_o be_v so_o than_o the_o father_n must_v bring_v we_o in_o or_o draw_v we_o to_o christ_n for_o except_o he_o do_v that_o no_o one_o soul_n can_v if_o so_o how_o can_v they_o be_v two_o distinct_a covenant_n certain_o in_o it_o there_o be_v infinite_a grace_n show_v towards_o we_o 3._o as_o to_o the_o other_o condition_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n it_o be_v large_a to_o christ_n than_o that_o in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n i_o answer_v as_o the_o covenant_n be_v primary_o make_v with_o christ_n it_o be_v make_v with_o he_o for_o all_o the_o elect_n as_o their_o head_n and_o surety_n and_o therefore_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v large_a as_o well_v as_o it_o be_v a_o merit_a reward_n but_o as_o we_o be_v concern_v in_o
