and_o hearty_o that_o he_o will_v give_v thou_o his_o holy_a spirit_n which_o christ_n have_v promise_v in_o the_o gospel_n that_o he_o will_v give_v unto_o we_o if_o we_o ask_v it_o of_o he_o if_o thereforr_n thou_o desire_v that_o the_o same_o spirit_n may_v be_v shed_v on_o thou_o abundant_o through_o jesus_n christ_n than_o those_o thing_n that_o can_v not_o be_v do_v by_o the_o strength_n and_o power_n of_o nature_n shall_v by_o his_o aid_n &_o help_n be_v accomplish_v only_o let_v there_o be_v no_o fault_n in_o thyself_o neither_o yield_v thou_o willing_o to_o thine_o evil_a desire_n but_o have_v a_o especial_a care_n to_o shake_v of_o all_o remissness_n of_o mind_n for_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v not_o help_v such_o as_o be_v slothful_a and_o sluggish_a and_o sit_v idle_a with_o their_o hand_n fold_v together_o but_o such_o as_o be_v do_v and_o put_v to_o all_o their_o strength_n and_o endeavour_n and_o count_v they_o worthy_a of_o his_o help_n which_o labour_n to_o repress_v and_o subdue_v their_o natural_a corruption_n and_o have_v a_o continual_a combat_n and_o fight_v with_o the_o evil_a affection_n of_o their_o mind_n let_v we_o not_o do_v then_o as_o that_o contriman_n do_v which_o be_v mention_v in_o a_o certain_a fable_n who_o when_o the_o cart_n that_o he_o drive_v stick_v fast_o in_o the_o mire_n call_v to_o god_n for_o help_v he_o himself_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n stand_v idle_a and_o do_v nothing_o moreover_o let_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n in_o every_o place_n which_o thou_o can_v by_o no_o mean_n avoid_v great_o fear_v thou_o from_o sin_v and_o stir_v thou_o up_o to_o live_v holy_a and_o virtuous_o see_v thou_o must_v needs_o have_v god_n a_o witness_n &_o be_v holder_n of_o all_o thine_o action_n if_o so_o be_v thou_o will_v not_o have_v a_o man_n to_o come_v in_o unto_o thou_o when_o thou_o commit_v any_o unseemly_a or_o dishonest_a thing_n how_o much_o more_o ought_v that_o reverence_n and_o shame_n which_o shall_v be_v in_o thou_o for_o that_o god_n behold_v thou_o revoke_v thou_o from_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n thou_o fear_v to_o have_v man_n know_v of_o thy_o sin_n dare_v thou_o then_o attempt_v any_o thing_n the_o lord_n god_n behold_v thou_o which_o thou_o dare_v not_o commit_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o man_n especial_o see_v that_o who_o thou_o have_v now_o a_o witness_n and_o beholder_n of_o all_o thy_o do_n he_o thou_o shall_v have_v in_o time_n to_o come_v thy_o censor_n and_o judge_n one_o of_o the_o heathen_a admonish_v that_o we_o must_v so_o live_v as_o though_o we_o live_v in_o the_o sight_n before_o thou_o attempt_v the_o same_o think_v thus_o with_o thyself_o what_o do_v i_o shall_v i_o enterprise_v to_o do_v that_o god_o be_v witness_n thereof_o and_o behold_v i_o which_o i_o dare_v not_o do_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o a_o mortal_a man_n shall_v i_o by_o this_o deed_n procure_v the_o displeasure_n of_o the_o lord_n god_o when_o i_o will_v not_o willing_o lose_v the_o favour_n of_o a_o man_n that_o be_v my_o friend_n shall_v i_o grieve_v the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_o that_o that_o wicked_a spirit_n may_v rejoice_v over_o i_o have_v christ_n therefore_o redeem_v i_o with_o his_o blood_n that_o i_o shall_v voluntary_o yield_v myself_o to_o the_o servitude_n of_o satan_n have_v he_o therefore_o deliver_v i_o from_o sin_n that_o i_o shall_v witting_o and_o willing_o fall_v into_o the_o same_o again_o have_v he_o therefore_o make_v i_o a_o heir_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n that_o i_o shall_v through_o my_o own_o default_n deprive_v myself_o of_o such_o a_o with_o these_o deed_n to_o the_o table_n of_o the_o lord_n do_v i_o thus_o look_v for_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n shall_v death_n find_v i_o in_o this_o wise_a occupy_v shall_v i_o thus_o come_v to_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o god_n do_v i_o so_o much_o favour_v myself_o that_o evil_a desire_n prevail_v against_o i_o the_o infirmity_n of_o the_o flesh_n overcome_v i_o and_o sin_n reign_v in_o my_o body_n be_o i_o so_o void_a of_o all_o vigour_n and_o valour_n that_o like_o a_o effeminate_a person_n i_o resist_v not_o these_o motion_n of_o the_o mind_n do_v i_o so_o see_v that_o that_o be_v better_a and_o follow_v that_o which_o be_v worse_o of_o these_o &_o other_o like_a thing_n for_o who_o can_v rehearse_v all_o if_o thou_o daily_o think_v with_o thyself_o thou_o shall_v not_o easy_o therefore_o do_v not_o i_o say_v ever_o forget_v this_o benefit_n he_o that_o have_v adopt_v thou_o to_o be_v his_o son_n see_v thou_o love_v reverence_n and_o honour_n and_o not_o offend_v in_o any_o thing_n whatsoever_o submit_v thyself_o to_o his_o will_n follow_v his_o commandment_n obey_v his_o precept_n think_v that_o not_o only_o the_o participation_n of_o his_o inheritance_n but_o also_o the_o imitation_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o virtue_n do_v pertain_v unto_o thou_o so_o that_o albeit_o thou_o can_v not_o by_o imitate_v attain_v to_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o goodness_n which_o be_v in_o this_o thy_o heavenly_a father_n yet_o must_v thou_o in_o will_v come_v as_o near_o as_o may_v be_v and_o count_v it_o a_o most_o unseemly_a thing_n to_o degenerate_v therefrom_o if_o thou_o do_v any_o thing_n unaware_o that_o may_v displease_v this_o thy_o father_n as_o the_o frailty_n &_o weakness_n of_o mankind_n be_v great_a let_v the_o same_o strike_v such_o grief_n into_o thy_o mind_n that_o thou_o will_v think_v thyself_o worthy_a of_o any_o punishment_n who_o haste_v offend_v so_o gracious_a a_o father_n and_o be_v not_o quiet_a in_o mind_n before_o thou_o have_v by_o true_a and_o hearty_a repentance_n pacify_v he_o so_o far_o be_v it_o of_o that_o thou_o shall_v ever_o witting_o sin_n or_o commit_v any_o offence_n against_o thy_o conscience_n and_o sure_o he_o that_o remember_v that_o he_o be_v the_o son_n and_o heir_n of_o god_n the_o brother_n of_o christ_n and_o heir_n annex_v with_o he_o be_v terrify_v from_o sin_n &_o wickedness_n not_o so_o much_o with_o dread_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n of_o eternal_a torment_n of_o the_o fire_n that_o shall_v never_o go_v out_o as_o with_o fear_n of_o offend_v
