under_o that_o notion_n upon_o any_o present_a condition_n whatsoever_o and_o as_o his_o fear_n be_v common_o desperate_a so_o his_o hope_n be_v always_o doubtful_a and_o dangerous_a he_o be_v soon_o move_v away_o from_o his_o hope_n for_o his_o hope_n be_v not_o the_o hope_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o the_o true_a believer_n can_v be_v move_v away_o from_o the_o hope_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v the_o sure_a and_o steadfash_a anchor_n of_o his_o soul_n hebr._n 6._o 19_o i_o can_v say_v but_o a_o ship_n when_o she_o ride_v at_o anchor_n may_v be_v tumble_v and_o toss_v by_o a_o violent_a tempest_n yet_o so_o long_o as_o her_o anchor_n continue_v firm_a and_o steady_a she_o ride_v secure_o be_v the_o storm_n never_o so_o outrageous_a but_o if_o her_o anchor_n fail_v she_o her_o danger_n be_v dreadful_a especial_o if_o the_o channel_n where_o she_o ride_v be_v rocky_a narrow_a or_o otherwise_o unsafe_a even_o so_o the_o soul_n that_o be_v sustain_v by_o hope_n may_v peradventure_o be_v move_v or_o shake_v by_o some_o strong_a distemper_n nevertheless_o so_o long_o as_o her_o hope_n remain_v sound_a settle_a and_o steadfast_a she_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v up_o in_o the_o great_a extremity_n but_o if_o she_o be_v quite_o move_v away_o from_o the_o hope_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v dangerous_a that_o she_o be_v lose_v for_o ever_o and_o the_o rather_o for_o that_o the_o whole_a ocean_n be_v not_o so_o full_a of_o rock_n and_o showl_n &_o quicksand_n wherewith_o to_o bulge_v and_o break_v a_o crazy_a vessel_n as_o the_o wild_a world_n be_v full_a of_o snare_n offence_n and_o temptation_n to_o ruin_n and_o destroy_v a_o silly_a soul_n but_o you_o will_v say_v what_o be_v the_o difference_n between_o a_o ordinary_a hope_n and_o this_o hope_n of_o the_o gospel_n i_o answer_v that_o a_o ordinary_a hope_n be_v common_o carnal_a but_o this_o hope_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v altogether_o spiritual_a and_o they_o differ_v in_o these_o particular_n first_o in_o their_o author_n the_o carnal_a hope_n proceed_v of_o the_o devil_n or_o satan_n it_o be_v he_o that_o give_v hope_n to_o the_o woman_n that_o she_o shall_v not_o die_v in_o her_o transgression_n genes_n 3._o 4._o it_o be_v he_o that_o give_v ahab_n hope_n of_o good_a success_n 1_o king_n 22._o 21._o and_o it_o be_v satan_n that_o fill_v the_o heart_n of_o ananias_n to_o show_v for_o all_o his_o hope_n but_o only_o his_o own_o blind_a conception_n and_o imagination_n whereas_o the_o gospel_n hope_n be_v evidence_v by_o god_n holy_a word_n for_o whatsoever_o thing_n be_v write_v aforetime_o be_v write_v for_o our_o learning_n that_o we_o through_o patience_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o scripture_n may_v have_v hope_n rom._n 15._o 4._o five_o they_o as_o the_o give_v up_o of_o the_o ghost_n job_n 11._o 20._o but_o this_o gospel_n hope_n be_v the_o companion_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n and_o that_o unto_o the_o benefit_n of_o both_o for_o as_o
