of_o god_n he_o well_o know_v not_o what_o ease_v he_o will_v be_v of_o his_o trouble_n and_o out_o of_o his_o desire_n of_o that_o he_o wish_v what_o come_v next_o to_o mind_n or_o lay_v uppermost_a in_o his_o thought_n let_v god_n hide_v he_o in_o the_o grave_n or_o do_v what_o he_o will_v with_o he_o to_o free_v he_o from_o his_o sad_a estate_n so_o he_o do_v not_o utter_o forget_v he_o and_o last_o by_o the_o grave_n may_v be_v mean_v any_o place_n under_o ground_n where_o he_o may_v be_v hide_v alive_a such_o as_o be_v those_o cave_n and_o den_n in_o the_o earth_n where_o the_o saint_n in_o time_n of_o persecution_n be_v wont_a to_o hide_v themselves_o and_o so_o be_v for_o the_o time_n as_o man_n bury_v alive_a heb._n 11.36_o and_o so_o then_o his_o desire_n be_v only_o that_o he_o may_v be_v hide_v somewhere_o under_o ground_n where_o he_o may_v be_v in_o safe_a custody_n out_o of_o the_o reach_n of_o those_o trouble_n that_o now_o annoy_v he_o till_o the_o indignation_n of_o god_n be_v over_o and_o that_o then_o at_o a_o time_n prefix_v god_n will_v remember_v he_o and_o fetch_v he_o forth_o again_o but_o which_o way_n soever_o we_o take_v these_o word_n most_o probable_a it_o be_v that_o he_o use_v this_o phrase_n of_o be_v hide_v in_o the_o grave_n in_o allusion_n to_o the_o custom_n of_o those_o eastern_a country_n where_o they_o use_v in_o those_o time_n to_o have_v great_a cave_n or_o vault_n for_o their_o sepulchre_n or_o bury_a place_n whereinto_o in_o time_n of_o danger_n they_o be_v wont_a to_o run_v and_o hide_v themselves_o verse_n 14._o if_o a_o man_n die_v shall_v he_o live_v again_o all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o appoint_a time_n will_v i_o wait_v till_o my_o change_n come_v as_o the_o former_a word_n so_o these_o also_o be_v divers_a way_n expound_v by_o interpreter_n some_o say_v that_o the_o change_n here_o mean_v be_v that_o which_o job_n have_v wish_v or_o desire_v in_o the_o forego_n verse_n to_o wit_n his_o be_v raise_v out_o of_o the_o grave_n after_o he_o have_v be_v hide_v there_o for_o a_o time_n to_o live_v again_o here_o in_o this_o world_n and_o according_o they_o conceive_v that_o the_o first_o word_n be_v speak_v by_o way_n of_o admiration_n if_o a_o man_n die_v shall_v he_o live_v again_o be_v that_o possible_a and_o than_o that_o the_o next_o word_n be_v add_v as_o the_o resolution_n of_o job_n upon_o this_o supposition_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v can_v this_o be_v or_o let_v this_o be_v grant_v and_o then_o sure_o all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o appoint_a time_n will_v i_o wait_v till_o my_o change_n come_v that_o be_v i_o will_v willing_o wait_v all_o the_o set_a time_n allot_v for_o my_o abode_n in_o the_o grave_n until_o the_o change_n shall_v come_v of_o my_o be_v raise_v up_o again_o from_o thence_o and_o thus_o they_o say_v he_o speak_v in_o reference_n to_o his_o forego_v word_n o_o that_o thou_o will_v appoint_v i_o a_o set_a time_n and_o remember_v i_o again_o other_o conceive_v that_o he_o speak_v here_o of_o his_o change_n at_o the_o general_a resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a and_o so_o they_o take_v the_o first_o word_n to_o be_v speak_v either_o of_o man_n live_v again_o in_o this_o world_n and_o the_o interrogation_n to_o be_v a_o vehement_a negation_n if_o a_o man_n die_v shall_v he_o live_v again_o no_o i_o know_v he_o shall_v not_o it_o be_v altogether_o impossible_a and_o that_o thereupon_o he_o add_v all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o appoint_a time_n will_v i_o wait_v till_o my_o change_n come_v as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v i_o be_o not_o exposition_n which_o to_o i_o seem_v best_o as_o best_o agree_v with_o other_o forego_n passage_n namely_o that_o by_o his_o appoint_a time_n here_o be_v mean_v the_o time_n allot_v he_o of_o god_n for_o his_o live_n here_o in_o this_o world_n according_a to_o that_o he_o have_v say_v before_o vers_fw-la 5._o his_o day_n be_v determine_v the_o number_n of_o his_o month_n be_v with_o thou_o etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o word_n be_v this_o that_o since_o be_v dead_a there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o live_v again_o here_o in_o this_o world_n there_o be_v nothing_o for_o he_o to_o do_v but_o all_o his_o appoint_a time_n to_o wait_v upon_o god_n till_o his_o change_n come_v that_o be_v till_o god_n shall_v be_v please_v to_o deliver_v he_o from_o this_o sad_a condition_n wherein_o he_o now_o live_v and_o put_v he_o into_o a_o more_o prosperous_a estate_n or_o rather_o till_o the_o time_n of_o his_o departure_n out_o of_o this_o world_n be_v come_v when_o he_o doubt_v not_o but_o god_n will_v receive_v he_o to_o his_o mercy_n verse_n 15._o thou_o shall_v call_v and_o i_o will_v answer_v thou_o thou_o will_v have_v a_o desire_n to_o the_o work_n of_o forth_o he_o will_v ready_o come_v forth_o unto_o he_o hope_v to_o live_v here_o in_o his_o favour_n again_o 2._o some_o understand_v this_o also_o of_o the_o resurrection_n thou_o shall_v call_v deliver_v a_o dark_a say_n not_o because_o of_o the_o obscurity_n of_o the_o expression_n wherein_o he_o mean_v to_o deliver_v it_o as_o be_v evident_a by_o that_o expression_n he_o use_v i_o will_v open_v my_o dark_a say_n but_o to_o imply_v that_o the_o thing_n he_o mean_v to_o speak_v of_o be_v deep_a and_o profound_a mystery_n and_o such_o as_o to_o natural_a man_n will_v be_v dark_a riddle_n such_o as_o be_v that_o which_o follow_v in_o the_o next_o verse_n that_o a_o good_a man_n have_v no_o cause_n to_o be_v afraid_a in_o the_o day_n of_o distress_n and_o trouble_v etc._n etc._n so_o that_o the_o drift_n of_o the_o whole_a verse_n be_v to_o show_v how_o deep_a and_o weighty_a the_o thing_n be_v of_o which_o he_o intend_v to_o speak_v verse_n 5._o wherefore_o shall_v i_o fear_v in_o the_o day_n of_o evil_a when_o the_o iniquity_n of_o my_o heel_n shall_v compass_v i_o about_o this_o be_v that_o parable_n and_o dark_a say_n which_o in_o the_o forego_n verse_n he_o promise_v to_o entreat_v of_o in_o this_o psalm_n and_o because_o he_o have_v say_v that_o he_o will_v incline_v his_o own_o ear_n to_o hear_v what_o he_o deliver_v for_o the_o instruction_n of_o other_o he_o propound_v that_o which_o he_o mean_v to_o deliver_v in_o his_o own_o person_n though_o he_o intend_v it_o shall_v be_v receive_v as_o a_o common_a truth_n which_o may_v likewise_o be_v apply_v to_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v dismay_v and_o trouble_v at_o the_o prosperity_n of_o wicked_a man_n or_o to_o be_v afraid_a in_o the_o day_n of_o adversity_n when_o ungodly_a great_a man_n do_v persecute_v and_o oppress_v they_o namely_o because_o riches_n be_v such_o vain_a thing_n and_o so_o unable_a to_o help_v those_o that_o have_v they_o in_o great_a abundance_n in_o the_o day_n of_o evil_a they_o that_o trust_v in_o their_o wealth_n to_o wit_n as_o think_v themselves_o sufficient_o defend_v thereby_o and_o so_o secure_o despise_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o undertake_v in_o a_o manner_n whatever_o they_o please_v in_o the_o confidence_n of_o their_o great_a wealth_n and_o so_o they_o that_o boast_v themselves_o in_o the_o multitude_n of_o their_o riches_n that_o be_v that_o be_v puff_v up_o with_o their_o great_a estate_n as_o if_o they_o have_v get_v all_o by_o their_o own_o policy_n and_o labour_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o live_v in_o all_o pomp_n pride_n and_o excess_n despise_v and_o wrong_v other_o alas_o they_o trust_v and_o glory_n in_o a_o vain_a shadow_n that_o can_v do_v they_o no_o good_a in_o a_o evil_a day_n and_o they_o that_o fear_v their_o greatness_n be_v indeed_o afraid_a of_o a_o shadow_n as_o be_v express_v in_o the_o follow_a verse_n verse_n 7._o none_o of_o they_o can_v by_o any_o mean_n redeem_v his_o brother_n etc._n etc._n to_o wit_n from_o die_v as_o be_v express_v vers_fw-la 9_o or_o from_o the_o power_n of_o death_n when_o he_o be_v dead_a by_o procure_v that_o he_o may_v be_v restore_v to_o life_n again_o and_o if_o a_o man_n can_v do_v this_o for_o his_o brother_n much_o less_o can_v he_o do_v it_o for_o himself_o verse_n 8._o for_o the_o redemption_n of_o their_o soul_n be_v precious_a and_o it_o cease_v for_o ever_o
