god_n himself_o it_o behove_v then_o that_o our_o mediator_n be_v god_n and_o of_o his_o gracious_a goodness_n such_o a_o one_o have_v we_o but_o this_o infinite_a godhead_n be_v not_o to_o recompense_v our_o disobedience_n otherwise_o than_o with_o obedience_n nor_o our_o undesert_n otherwise_o than_o with_o desert_n not_o our_o stubbornness_n otherwise_o than_o with_o lowliness_n neither_o again_o be_v he_o to_o purchase_v we_o grace_n but_o by_o punishment_n or_o life_n but_o by_o death_n and_o to_o the_o intent_n he_o may_v obey_v he_o must_v abase_v himself_o to_o deserve_v die_v and_o god_n to_o triumph_v over_o death_n nay_o moreover_o forasmuch_o as_o he_o submit_v himself_o willing_o to_o such_o thing_n for_o our_o sake_n say_v i_o and_o not_o for_o his_o own_o needs_o must_v his_o obedience_n become_v a_o discharge_n for_o the_o disobedience_n his_o desert_n a_o discharge_n of_o the_o undesert_n and_o his_o lowliness_n a_o satisfaction_n for_o the_o stubbornness_n of_o they_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o yea_o and_o moreover_o a_o purchase_n of_o obedience_n desert_n and_o lowliness_n unto_o they_o so_o that_o look_v what_o be_v due_a to_o his_o obedience_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n love_n to_o his_o desert_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n reward_n to_o his_o humility_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n honour_n to_o his_o sorrow_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n joy_n to_o his_o death_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n life_n and_o to_o his_o victory_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n triumph_n the_o same_o be_v purchace_v and_o give_v by_o he_o and_o impute_v and_o make_v due_a at_o god_n hand_n to_o all_o such_o as_o honour_v that_o great_a benefit_n and_o call_v upon_o the_o father_n in_o his_o name_n from_o this_o point_n we_o may_v proceed_v afterward_o to_o other_o condition_n and_o circumstance_n requisite_a in_o the_o mediator_n god_n and_o man_n seek_v he_o always_o as_o may_v be_v most_o convenient_a and_o agreeable_a both_o to_o god_n justice_n &_o to_o the_o office_n &_o dignity_n of_o the_o mediator_n corruption_n it_o be_v necessary_a for_o our_o welfare_n say_v i_o that_o the_o mediator_n shall_v be_v man_n to_o bear_v the_o punishment_n of_o man_n &_o to_o reconcile_v mankind_n and_o if_o he_o be_v not_o a_o man_n then_o like_a as_o we_o shall_v have_v no_o part_n in_o he_o nor_o he_o in_o we_o so_o shall_v he_o not_o avayle_v we_o any_o whit_n neither_o in_o way_n of_o satisfaction_n nor_o in_o way_n of_o desert_n meet_v it_o be_v therefore_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v bear_v of_o our_o race_n and_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v flesh_n corruption_n and_o therefore_o it_o behove_v he_o to_o be_v such_o a_o man_n as_o be_v conceive_v after_o a_o other_o manner_n than_o man_n be_v and_o this_o after_o so_o many_o wonder_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v count_v a_o wonder_n for_o he_o that_o derive_v woman_n out_o of_o man_n without_o help_n of_o woman_n can_v also_o derive_v man_n out_o of_o woman_n without_o help_n of_o man_n to_o these_o particularity_n we_o shall_v come_v time_n enough_o hereafter_o and_o if_o suffice_v at_o this_o time_n that_o god_n justice_n and_o man_n offence_n have_v even_o by_o humane_a reason_n direct_v we_o
