reject_v these_o with_o detestation_n show_v that_o notwithstanding_o all_o their_o perverse_a cavil_n they_o shall_v find_v god_n a_o severe_a judge_n and_o that_o their_o damnation_n be_v just_a for_o it_o do_v no_o way_n lessen_v the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n that_o god_n get_v glory_n by_o it_o for_o sin_n in_o its_o own_o nature_n tend_v to_o the_o darken_n of_o god_n glory_n and_o man_n by_o comprehend_v it_o not_o all_o be_v natural_o darkness_n 5._o and_o therefore_o full_a of_o contrariety_n to_o the_o light_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n you_o be_v sometime_o darkness_n 8._o say_v the_o apostle_n to_o those_o that_o then_o be_v light_n in_o the_o lord_n the_o best_a of_o those_o who_o god_n have_v save_o enlighten_v by_o his_o spirit_n be_v sometime_o darkness_n 10._o lie_v not_o one_o to_o another_o see_v that_o you_o have_v put_v off_o the_o old_a man_n with_o his_o deed_n and_o have_v put_v on_o the_o new_a man_n which_o be_v renew_v in_o knowledge_n after_o the_o image_n corrupt_a nature_n be_v apt_a to_o corrupt_v and_o deny_v the_o precious_a truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v a_o dangerous_a and_o malignant_a disease_n of_o the_o body_n that_o shall_v turn_v the_o best_a physic_n into_o poison_n and_o either_o cast_v it_o out_o of_o the_o stomach_n as_o soon_o as_o it_o be_v take_v in_o or_o grow_v worse_o by_o occasion_n of_o the_o remedy_n our_o nature_n be_v whole_o overspread_v with_o the_o deadly_a disease_n of_o sin_n and_o corruption_n and_o there_o be_v no_o part_n â—ound_v in_o they_o as_o the_o apostle_n say_v 18._o i_o know_v that_o in_o i_o that_o be_v in_o my_o flesh_n dwell_v no_o good_a thing_n he_o have_v much_o good_a in_o he_o through_o grace_n a_o great_a measure_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n but_o in_o his_o so_o do_v many_o in_o the_o state_n of_o corrupt_a nature_n they_o hear_v the_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o the_o lord_n have_v appoint_v as_o preâ—ious_a remedy_n against_o that_o disease_n and_o reject_v they_o cast_v they_o up_o again_o either_o deny_v they_o in_o the_o secret_a thought_n not_o believe_v they_o or_o not_o serious_o mind_v or_o regard_v they_o so_o the_o apostle_n tell_v the_o unbelieve_a jew_n 46_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n shall_v first_o have_v be_v speak_v to_o you_o but_o see_v you_o put_v it_o from_o you_o and_o judge_v these_o disease_n of_o the_o soul_n concern_v the_o law_n 5_o the_o apostle_n say_v when_o we_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n the_o motion_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v by_o the_o law_n do_v work_v in_o our_o of_o god_n be_v both_o food_n and_o physic_n and_o corrupt_a nature_n be_v apt_a to_o make_v it_o a_o occasion_n to_o increase_v sin_n and_o aggravate_v condemnation_n cry_v mighty_o to_o the_o lord_n to_o work_v a_o through_o cure_n upon_o your_o soul_n to_o change_v and_o renew_v your_o nature_n to_o send_v his_o spirit_n along_o with_o his_o word_n that_o it_o may_v overpower_v the_o disease_n of_o your_o soul_n and_o be_v unto_o you_o the_o favour_n of_o life_n unto_o life_n second_o 2_o this_o may_v teach_v we_o not_o to_o think_v it_o strange_a that_o so_o many_o precious_a truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v deny_v and_o reject_v in_o these_o day_n so_o many_o part_n of_o scripture_n abuse_v with_o false_a interpretation_n and_o corrupt_a gloss_n so_o many_o error_n and_o lie_v maintain_v instead_o of_o truth_n corrupt_a nature_n
to_o his_o command_n shall_v learn_v of_o he_o who_o be_v meek_a and_o lowly_a of_o heart_n and_o be_v content_a to_o be_v conform_v to_o he_o in_o suffering_n take_v up_o his_o cross_n and_o follow_v he_o they_o shall_v be_v useful_a and_o serviceable_a as_o christ_n be_v who_o be_v figure_v by_o such_o creature_n offer_v in_o sacrifice_n 2._o you_o may_v note_v in_o general_n that_o a_o offer_v present_v to_o the_o lord_n be_v call_v in_o the_o hebrew_n korban_n of_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d to_o draw_v near_o 〈◊〉_d this_o may_v teach_v we_o that_o none_o be_v fit_a to_o offer_v a_o
