desire_v neither_o be_v god_n disappoint_v if_o man_n neglect_v this_o mean_n for_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v to_o render_v to_o every_o man_n according_a to_o his_o deed_n whether_o good_a or_o evil_a as_o the_o mercy_n of_o his_o justice_n be_v to_o provide_v mean_n of_o life_n or_o salvation_n so_o that_o god_n be_v not_o disappoint_v in_o the_o condemnation_n of_o any_o for_o his_o mercy_n afford_v they_o mean_n and_o his_o justice_n condemn_v they_o for_o contempt_n thereof_o so_o that_o as_o god_n can_v work_v against_o himself_o so_o therein_o he_o be_v neither_o cross_v nor_o contradict_v but_o remain_v in_o his_o attribute_n entire_a and_o complete_a the_o next_o thing_n i_o shall_v speak_v of_o be_v the_o sufficiency_n of_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n or_o the_o sufficiency_n of_o the_o mean_n which_o god_n afford_v to_o work_v grace_n or_o faith_n in_o every_o man_n that_o the_o gospel_n be_v never_o publish_v to_o man_n with_o plainness_n and_o power_n but_o they_o be_v thereby_o enable_v to_o believe_v and_o yield_v obedience_n that_o god_n do_v enlighten_v invite_v persuade_v and_o draw_v all_o man_n to_o himself_o so_o far_o and_o so_o sufficient_o that_o do_v they_o improve_v the_o talon_n and_o price_n that_o god_n put_v into_o their_o hand_n they_o shall_v certain_o come_v to_o life_n and_o glory_n it_o will_v be_v needful_a now_o that_o we_o be_v not_o to_o have_v perish_v in_o hell_n fire_n in_o relation_n to_o adam_n sin_n or_o the_o law_n consider_v we_o all_o die_v in_o adam_n and_o christ_n to_o redeem_v nor_o to_o prevent_v us_o from_o death_n suffer_v death_n he_o hang_v on_o a_o tree_n and_o so_o be_v make_v a_o curse_n for_o we_o and_o deliver_v we_o from_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n gal._n 3.13_o deut._n 21_o 23._o that_o we_o through_o he_o may_v receive_v the_o blessing_n gal._n 3.14_o and_o if_o we_o have_v be_v to_o suffer_v in_o hell_n in_o relation_n to_o adam_n or_o the_o law_n than_o christ_n also_o shall_v have_v suffer_v in_o hell_n for_o we_o to_o have_v redeem_v we_o from_o thence_o which_o he_o do_v not_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a come_v by_o christ_n 1_o cor._n 2.10_o 11._o for_o if_o man_n can_v have_v no_o benefit_n by_o christ_n unless_o they_o come_v to_o he_o and_o their_o condemnation_n be_v aggravate_v for_o not_o come_v and_o god_n give_v they_o not_o where_o with_o all_o to_o come_v the_o case_n i_o say_v be_v so_o with_o the_o most_o of_o they_o the_o love_n of_o god_n towards_o they_o in_o the_o gospel_n be_v no_o other_o than_o such_o joh._n 3.16_o it_o be_v then_o more_o proper_a to_o say_v god_n so_o hate_v the_o world_n and_o whereas_o god_n proclaim_v himself_o in_o the_o gospel_n to_o be_v love_n to_o be_v gracious_a and_o tend_v to_o the_o subversion_n of_o the_o free_a grace_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n again_o god_n send_v his_o son_n and_o the_o son_n in_o obedience_n to_o the_o father_n come_v to_o save_v man_n even_o those_o which_o perish_v joh._n 3.17.12.47_o act._n 3_o 26._o now_o it_o be_v absurd_a to_o think_v that_o christ_n be_v send_v and_o come_v to_o do_v that_o which_o be_v come_v he_o use_v not_o mean_n sufficient_a to_o accomplish_v for_o that_o be_v to_o deny_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n which_o always_o make_v choice_n and_o use_n of_o mean_n sufficient_a to_o effect_v the_o end_n hold_v as_o absolute_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n as_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n see_v god_n require_v those_o that_o hear_v the_o gospel_n to_o believe_v it_o upon_o pain_n of_o condemnation_n in_o hell_n fire_n now_o if_o christ_n have_v give_v himself_o for_o any_o to_o who_o he_o have_v not_o give_v mean_v sufficient_a to_o beget_v faith_n their_o condition_n be_v as_o desperate_a as_o if_o he_o have_v never_o give_v himself_o for_o they_o according_a to_o the_o old_a proverb_n as_o good_a nothing_o as_o never_o the_o near_o for_o if_o i_o know_v two_o thing_n equal_o and_o individual_o absolute_a by_o i_o to_o be_v perform_v to_o effect_v one_o and_o the_o same_o end_n if_o i_o do_v the_o one_o and_o leave_v the_o other_o undo_v it_o be_v as_o impossible_a the_o thing_n shall_v be_v effect_v as_o if_o i_o have_v do_v nothing_o at_o all_o but_o when_o ever_o god_n propound_v mean_n to_o effect_v a_o end_n the_o mean_n be_v sufficient_a to_o accomplish_v the_o same_o but_o god_n do_v propound_v mean_n to_o save_v those_o which_o notwithstanding_o do_v perish_v therefore_o the_o mean_n use_v be_v sufficient_a to_o accomplish_v their_o salvation_n though_o they_o perish_v through_o the_o wilful_a neglect_n of_o it_o joh._n 5.34.40_o 2_o thess_n 2.10_o but_o if_o all_o the_o mean_v use_v with_o those_o that_o perish_v be_v insufficient_a to_o save_v they_o
