crooked_a and_o how_o strong_a desire_v he_o have_v after_o the_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n and_o what_o cold_a and_o faint_a one_o towards_o god_n and_o goodness_n and_o then_o tell_v i_o whether_o his_o affection_n be_v not_o disorder_v and_o rebellious_a even_o against_o the_o voice_n of_o his_o own_o reason_n within_o he_o now_o as_o in_o bodily_a disease_n the_o first_o step_n to_o the_o cure_n be_v to_o know_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o sickness_n so_o likewise_o here_o it_o be_v very_o necessary_a for_o we_o to_o know_v how_o the_o soul_n first_o fall_v into_o this_o disease_a condition_n and_o that_o i_o shall_v now_o brief_o tell_v you_o 12._o god_n create_v the_o first_o man_n adam_n without_o sin_n and_o endue_v his_o covenant_n soul_n with_o the_o full_a knowledge_n of_o his_o duty_n and_o with_o such_o a_o strength_n that_o he_o may_v if_o he_o will_v perform_v all_o that_o be_v require_v of_o he_o have_v thus_o create_v he_o he_o make_v a_o covenant_n or_o agreement_n he_o commit_v sin_n and_o disobeyed_n god_n then_o both_o he_o and_o all_o his_o child_n after_o he_o shall_v lose_v that_o knowledge_n and_o that_o perfect_a strength_n which_o enable_v he_o to_o do_v all_o that_o god_n require_v of_o he_o and_o second_o shall_v be_v subject_a to_o death_n and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o to_o eternal_a damnation_n in_o hell_n 13._o this_o be_v the_o agreement_n to_o do_v and_o weak_a and_o unable_a to_o the_o do_v of_o it_o have_v a_o backwardness_n to_o all_o good_a and_o a_o aptness_n and_o readiness_n to_o all_o evil_a like_o a_o sick_a stomach_n which_o loathe_v all_o wholesome_a food_n and_o belong_v after_o such_o trash_n as_o may_v nourish_v the_o disease_n 14._o and_o now_o you_o see_v where_o we_o get_v this_o sickness_n of_o soul_n and_o likewise_o that_o it_o be_v like_a to_o prove_v a_o deadly_a one_o and_o therefore_o i_o presume_v i_o need_v say_v no_o more_o to_o assure_v you_o our_o soul_n be_v in_o danger_n it_o be_v more_o likely_a you_o will_v from_o this_o description_n think_v they_o hopeless_a but_o that_o you_o may_v not_o from_o that_o conâ—eit_n excuse_v your_o neglect_n of_o they_o i_o shall_v hasten_v to_o
