but_o by_o show_v you_o the_o excellency_n of_o man_n last_o end_n now_o the_o excellency_n of_o man_n last_o end_n i_o mean_v the_o good_a god_n have_v make_v man_n for_o it_o appear_v in_o this_o 1_o it_o be_v such_o a_o kind_n of_o excellency_n as_o be_v worthy_a of_o all_o the_o good_a that_o there_o be_v in_o man_n nature_n or_o that_o man_n nature_n be_v capable_a of_o for_o the_o end_n and_o happiness_n of_o any_o thing_n must_v be_v that_o that_o must_v have_v as_o much_o excellency_n in_o it_o that_o all_o in_o the_o thing_n must_v tend_v to_o the_o make_n of_o he_o happy_a man_n nature_n be_v capable_a of_o the_o image_n and_o life_n of_o god_n now_o that_o which_o must_v be_v the_o happiness_n of_o such_o a_o creature_n must_v be_v worthy_a of_o such_o a_o excellency_n as_o the_o image_n of_o god_n and_o the_o life_n of_o god_n in_o man_n therefore_o it_o must_v be_v a_o very_a high_a and_o glorious_a excellency_n 2_o that_o which_o be_v man_n happiness_n and_o end_n be_v that_o which_o be_v worthy_a of_o all_o the_o way_n of_o god_n towards_o mankind_n now_o i_o beseech_v you_o observe_v this_o thing_n the_o way_n of_o god_n towards_o the_o child_n of_o man_n of_o man_n that_o happiness_n man_n be_v make_v for_o must_v be_v very_o glorious_a because_o it_o must_v have_v so_o much_o glory_n and_o excellency_n in_o it_o as_o must_v be_v worthy_a all_o the_o glorious_a way_n
of_o the_o law_n when_o it_o be_v first_o give_v that_o be_v only_o to_o set_v forth_o thus_o much_o to_o we_o that_o if_o the_o law_n that_o god_n give_v be_v break_v that_o then_o god_n will_v be_v very_o dreadful_a to_o those_o that_o break_v it_o therefore_o he_o give_v it_o at_o first_o in_o such_o a_o dreadful_a manner_n it_o may_v be_v many_o bold_a presumptuous_a sinner_n think_v it_o have_v good_a meaning_n and_o good_a intention_n yet_o not_o do_v according_o to_o the_o law_n the_o least_o breach_n of_o the_o law_n though_o we_o have_v a_o good_a meaning_n do_v provoke_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o god_n when_o he_o please_v let_v out_o this_o his_o wrath_n 3_o a_o three_o example_n you_o have_v in_o that_o poor_a man_n that_o we_o read_v of_o who_o do_v but_o gather_v stick_n upon_o the_o lord_n day_n and_o by_o the_o command_n of_o god_n from_o heaven_n this_o man_n must_v be_v stone_v to_o death_n you_o will_v think_v these_o thing_n little_a matter_n alas_o people_n have_v escape_v and_o these_o manifestation_n of_o god_n judgement_n be_v not_o so_o general_a and_o ordinary_a yet_o when_o they_o be_v but_o now_o and_o then_o god_n manifest_v what_o his_o displeasure_n be_v against_o sin_n and_o what_o may_v be_v to_o all_o that_o sin_n against_o he_o six_o a_o six_o manifestation_n of_o god_n displeasure_n against_o sin_n be_v in_o those_o eternal_a that_o right_a that_o a_o condemn_a man_n have_v to_o his_o dinner_n or_o supper_n before_o execution_n this_o be_v the_o right_n of_o wicked_a man_n to_o their_o estate_n that_o be_v god_n of_o his_o bounty_n grant_v a_o little_a while_n before_o execution_n they_o shall_v have_v a_o few_o comfort_n to_o they_o in_o this_o world_n and_o this_o be_v the_o evil_a of_o sin_n and_o the_o least_o sin_n communion_n one_o with_o another_o and_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v near_o a_o glorious_a union_n with_o god_n in_o this_o regard_n more_o near_o than_o any_o creature_n but_o the_o angel_n because_o the_o object_n of_o man_n understanding_n be_v not_o any_o particular_a truth_n but_o veritas_fw-la truth_n in_o general_a truth_n itself_o in_o the_o whole_a latitude_n be_v the_o object_n of_o man_n understanding_n so_o the_o object_n of_o man_n will_n be_v not_o this_o good_a or_o that_o good_a in_o particular_a but_o bonitas_fw-la good_a in_o general_n in_o the_o full_a latitude_n in_o the_o full_a latitude_n in_o the_o infinitness_n of_o it_o take_v it_o in_o the_o utmost_a extent_n that_o can_v be_v yet_o still_o it_o be_v the_o object_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n now_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v of_o such_o a_o wonderful_a large_a extent_n even_o capable_a of_o god_n himself_o of_o enjoyment_n of_o union_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n himself_o
know_v not_o the_o excellency_n of_o man_n they_o know_v not_o wherein_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o rational_a creature_n consist_v and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o ashamed_a of_o that_o which_o bring_v they_o under_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o rational_a creature_n beside_o they_o know_v not_o god_n infinite_a holiness_n therefore_o be_v not_o ashamed_a they_o be_v now_o among_o other_o sinner_n and_o they_o think_v though_o some_o seem_v to_o be_v religious_a yet_o they_o think_v other_o be_v as_o bad_a as_o themselves_o in_o their_o heart_n at_o least_o though_o not_o in_o themselves_o and_o live_v in_o the_o same_o sin_n therefore_o they_o be_v not_o ashamed_a for_o as_o a_o collier_n live_v among_o collier_n be_v not_o ashamed_a but_o if_o he_o live_v among_o prince_n and_o nobleman_n he_o will_v be_v ashamed_a so_o wicked_a man_n in_o this_o world_n because_o they_o live_v in_o this_o world_n among_o sinner_n they_o conceive_v to_o be_v sinner_n like_o
