here_o mention_v be_v and_o what_o paul_n desire_v namely_o that_o he_o may_v have_v experience_n of_o these_o effect_n in_o himself_o the_o use_n of_o the_o doctrine_n follow_v first_o of_o all_o in_o that_o christ_n rise_v for_o we_o and_o in_o that_o his_o resurrection_n be_v of_o endless_a efficacy_n here_o be_v the_o foundation_n of_o all_o our_o spiritual_a comfort_n for_o by_o this_o virtue_n of_o christ_n resurrection_n from_o death_n to_o life_n all_o our_o spiritual_a enemy_n be_v conquer_v and_o subdue_v and_o by_o the_o say_a virtue_n do_v he_o daily_o more_o and_o more_o subdue_v they_o in_o us._n upon_o this_o ground_n say_v christ_n you_o shall_v have_v affliction_n in_o the_o world_n 33._o but_o be_v of_o good_a comfort_n i_o have_v overcome_v the_o world_n and_o this_o victory_n be_v for_o we_o and_o it_o be_v make_v we_o by_o our_o faith_n as_o john_n say_v this_o be_v the_o victory_n which_o over_o come_v the_o world_n 4._o even_o your_o faith_n be_v thou_o to_o pray_v that_o we_o may_v feel_v the_o virtue_n of_o christ_n resurrection_n to_o change_v and_o renew_v us._n great_a be_v the_o benefit_n which_o we_o reap_v by_o this_o virtue_n and_o we_o be_v to_o show_v ourselves_o thankful_a to_o god_n for_o they_o which_o we_o can_v do_v no_o way_n but_o by_o newness_n of_o life_n again_o the_o end_n why_o christ_n rise_v for_o we_o be_v that_o we_o rise_v from_o his_o own_o sin_n and_o evil_a way_n shall_v certain_o feel_v and_o endure_v the_o second_o death_n and_o further_o it_o must_v be_v know_v that_o the_o virtue_n of_o christ_n to_o attain_v unto_o to_o proceed_v that_o we_o may_v have_v right_a knowledge_n of_o our_o communion_n with_o christ_n in_o his_o death_n two_o point_n be_v to_o be_v
say_v it_o be_v eternal_a life_n to_o know_v thou_o the_o only_a god_n etc._n etc._n the_o knowledge_n of_o experience_n be_v to_o have_v a_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o our_o inward_a fellowship_n with_o christ_n and_o upon_o often_o observation_n of_o his_o goodness_n to_o grow_v more_o and_o more_o in_o experience_n of_o his_o love_n now_o this_o knowledge_n be_v here_o mean_v and_o not_o the_o first_o which_o be_v before_o mention_v verse_n 8._o and_o therefore_o paul_n desire_n be_v that_o he_o may_v grow_v more_o and_o more_o in_o holy_a experience_n of_o the_o endless_a love_n of_o god_n and_o fellowship_n with_o christ._n the_o part_n of_o this_o desire_a communion_n be_v two_o fellowship_n with_o christ_n in_o his_o resurrection_n and_o fellowship_n with_o he_o in_o his_o death_n the_o former_a be_v express_v in_o these_o word_n and_o the_o virtue_n of_o his_o resurrection_n and_o for_o the_o better_a conceive_v of_o it_o we_o be_v to_o consider_v what_o the_o loss_n of_o all_o his_o work_n and_o virtue_n whatsoever_o in_o the_o cause_n of_o his_o own_o justification_n now_o than_o if_o this_o doctrine_n be_v so_o certain_a and_o infallible_a as_o it_o be_v they_o also_o must_v we_o be_v settle_v in_o this_o point_n without_o doubt_v that_o the_o present_a church_n of_o rome_n err_v grievous_o in_o that_o it_o magnify_v the_o merit_n of_o work_n yea_o by_o mere_a faith_n rest_n on_o the_o mere_a mercy_n of_o god_n and_o apprehend_v naked_a christ_n that_o be_v christ_n sever_v in_o the_o case_n of_o salvation_n from_o all_o respect_n of_o all_o
