himself_o namely_o when_o he_o hang_v on_o the_o cross._n for_o it_o be_v by_o the_o offering_n up_o of_o the_o body_n of_o this_o bless_a jesus_n christ_n once_o for_o all_o indeed_o other_o priest_n may_v offer_v oftentimes_o sacrifice_n and_o offering_n which_o can_v never_o take_v away_o sin_n but_o this_o man_n this_o jesus_n this_o 25._o anointed_n and_o appoint_a sacrifice_n when_o he_o have_v offer_v one_o sacrifice_n for_o sin_n for_o ever_o sit_v down_o on_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n but_o because_o thou_o in_o thy_o pursuit_n after_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o gospel_n will_v be_v sure_a to_o meet_v with_o devil_n heretic_n particular_a corruption_n as_o unbelief_n ignorance_n the_o spirit_n work_v animate_v on_o by_o suggestion_n false_a conclusion_n with_o damnable_a doctrine_n i_o shall_v therefore_o brief_o beside_o what_o have_v be_v already_o say_v speak_v a_o word_n or_o two_o more_o before_o i_o leave_v thou_o of_o further_a advice_n especial_o concern_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o how_o thou_o be_v to_o conceive_v of_o the_o saviour_n second_o how_o thou_o be_v to_o make_v application_n of_o he_o first_o for_o the_o saviour_n thou_o must_v look_v upon_o he_o to_o be_v very_a god_n and_o very_a man_n not_o man_n only_o nor_o god_n only_o but_o god_n and_o man_n in_o one_o person_n both_o nature_n join_v together_o for_o the_o put_n of_o he_o in_o a_o capacity_n to_o be_v a_o suitable_a saviour_n suitable_a i_o say_v to_o answer_v both_o side_n and_o party_n with_o who_o he_o have_v to_o do_v in_o the_o office_n of_o his_o mediatorship_n and_o be_v as_o a_o saviour_n second_o thou_o must_v not_o only_o do_v this_o but_o thou_o must_v also_o consider_v and_o believe_v that_o even_o what_o be_v do_v by_o jesus_n christ_n it_o be_v not_o do_v by_o one_o nature_n without_o the_o other_o but_o thou_o must_v consider_v that_o both_o nature_n both_o the_o godhead_n and_o the_o manhood_n do_v glorious_o concur_v and_o join_v together_o in_o the_o undertake_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o our_o body_n and_o soul_n not_o that_o the_o godhead_n undertake_v any_o thing_n without_o the_o manhood_n neither_o do_v the_o manhood_n do_v any_o thing_n without_o the_o virtue_n and_o union_n of_o the_o god_n head_n and_o thou_o must_v of_o necessity_n do_v this_o otherwise_o thou_o can_v not_o find_v any_o sound_a ground_n and_o foot_n for_o thy_o soul_n to_o rest_v upon_o for_o if_o thou_o look_v upon_o any_o of_o these_o asunder_o that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o godhead_n without_o the_o manhood_n or_o the_o manhood_n without_o the_o godhead_n thou_o will_v conclude_v that_o what_o be_v do_v by_o the_o godhead_n be_v not_o do_v for_o man_n be_v do_v without_o the_o manhood_n or_o else_o that_o that_o which_o be_v do_v with_o the_o manhood_n can_v not_o answer_v divine_a justice_n in_o not_o do_v what_o it_o do_v by_o the_o virtue_n and_o in_o union_n with_o the_o godhead_n for_o it_o be_v the_o godhead_n that_o give_v virtue_n and_o value_n to_o the_o suffering_n of_o the_o manhood_n and_o the_o manhood_n be_v join_v therewith_o that_o give_v we_o a_o interest_n into_o the_o heavenly_a glory_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o godhead_n what_o ground_n can_v a_o man_n have_v to_o believe_v that_o christ_n be_v his_o saviour_n if_o he_o do_v not_o believe_v that_o he_o suffer_v for_o sin_n in_o his_o nature_n and_o what_o equal_a to_o he_o who_o be_v offend_v therefore_o beloved_n when_o you_o read_v of_o the_o offering_n of_o the_o body_n of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n for_o our_o sin_n then_o consider_v that_o he_o do_v it_o in_o union_n with_o and_o by_o the_o help_n of_o the_o eternal_a godhead_n how_o much_o more_o shalâ—_n the_o blood_n of_o christ_n who_o through_o the_o eternal_a spirit_n offer_v himself_o thing_n be_v how_o to_o apply_v or_o to_o make_v application_n of_o this_o christ_n to_o the_o soul_n and_o for_o this_o there_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v the_o follow_a particular_n first_o that_o when_o jesus_n christ_n do_v thus_o appear_v be_v bear_v of_o mary_n he_o be_v look_v upon_o by_o the_o father_n as_o if_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n be_v upon_o he_o â—ay_v further_o and_o yet_o altogether_o without_o sin_n 2_o cor._n 5._o 21._o rom._n 8._o 3._o therefore_o as_o to_o the_o take_v away_o of_o thy_o curse_n thou_o must_v reckon_v he_o to_o be_v make_v sin_n for_o and_o christian_n thou_o be_v not_o in_o this_o thing_n to_o follow_v thy_o sense_n and_o feeling_n but_o the_o very_a word_n of_o god_n the_o thing_n that_o do_v do_v the_o people_n of_o god_n the_o great_a injury_n it_o be_v their_o too_o little_a harken_v to_o what_o the_o gospel_n say_v and_o their_o too_o much_o give_v credit_n to_o what_o the_o law_n sin_n the_o devil_n and_o conscience_n say_v and_o upon_o this_o very_a ground_n to_o conclude_v that_o because_o there_o be_v the_o certainty_n of_o guilt_n upon_o the_o soul_n therefore_o there_o be_v also_o for_o certain_a by_o sin_n
