any_o seed_n be_v consume_v to_o ash_n yet_o notwithstanding_o god_n will_v perform_v his_o promise_n concern_v isaac_n seed_n but_o how_o can_v this_o be_v if_o isaac_n seed_n must_v inherit_v the_o land_n of_o canaan_n and_o christ_n himself_o must_v come_v of_o his_o seed_n then_o must_v he_o live_v until_o he_o have_v seed_n and_o not_o be_v consume_v to_o ash_n before_o he_o have_v any_o if_o he_o die_v and_o be_v burn_v to_o ash_n before_o he_o have_v seed_n according_a to_o the_o commandment_n how_o shall_v his_o seed_n be_v multiply_v or_o christ_n come_v of_o it_o according_a to_o the_o promise_n yet_o such_o be_v abraham_n faith_n that_o he_o assure_o believe_v that_o although_o isaac_n be_v consume_v to_o ash_n before_o he_o have_v any_o seed_n yet_o the_o promise_n concern_v his_o seed_n shall_v be_v perform_v and_o in_o this_o assurance_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o promise_n he_o ready_o resolute_o and_o constant_o obey_v the_o commandment_n but_o how_o can_v he_o obey_v the_o one_o and_o yet_o believe_v the_o other_o see_v the_o one_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o other_o i_o answer_v abraham_n assure_o believe_v that_o god_n as_o he_o be_v true_a and_o faithful_a and_o therefore_o willing_a to_o keep_v his_o promise_n so_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o omnipotent_a power_n and_o alsufficiencie_n he_o be_v able_a to_o make_v good_a his_o word_n be_v indeed_o able_a to_o do_v any_o thing_n but_o to_o deny_v himself_o or_o to_o go_v back_o from_o his_o word_n and_o therefore_o doubt_v not_o but_o that_o as_o he_o have_v receive_v his_o soon_n from_o the_o dead_a and_o barren_a womb_n of_o sara_n as_o similitude_n of_o death_n for_o thus_o those_o word_n heb._n 11.19_o may_v also_o be_v expound_v so_o also_o the_o lord_n will_v in_o respect_n of_o his_o truth_n thus_o by_o undoubted_a faith_n in_o the_o truth_n and_o power_n of_o god_n abraham_n reconcile_v the_o repugnancy_n betwixt_o the_o commandment_n and_o the_o promise_n and_o so_o approve_v his_o singular_a obedience_n to_o the_o one_o and_o his_o admirable_a faith_n in_o the_o other_o &_o in_o respect_n of_o both_o be_v propound_v to_o we_o and_o to_o all_o posterity_n as_o a_o most_o notable_a pattern_n to_o be_v imitate_v for_o belove_a we_o be_v to_o know_v that_o these_o thing_n they_o be_v write_v for_o our_o profit_n and_o therefore_o we_o must_v not_o be_v idle_a hearer_n
