very_o strange_a that_o a_o man_n shall_v labour_v to_o walk_v up_o according_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n as_o much_o as_o ever_o he_o can_v and_o yet_o that_o man_n notwithstanding_o this_o shall_v be_v still_o under_o the_o curse_n pray_v clear_v it_o answ._n true_o this_o do_v seem_v very_o strange_a i_o do_v know_v full_a well_o to_o the_o natural_a man_n to_o he_o that_o be_v yet_o in_o the_o ground_n bare_a a_o sinner_n against_o the_o law_n and_o a_o sinner_n against_o the_o gospel_n i_o have_v sin_v against_o light_n and_o i_o have_v sin_v against_o mercy_n and_o now_o lord_n 4._o four_o not_o only_o so_o but_o also_o before_o he_o leave_v they_o he_o be_v the_o conduit-pipe_n through_o which_o the_o devil_n do_v convey_v of_o his_o poison_a spawn_n and_o venom_n nature_n be_v under_o that_o which_o be_v more_o ready_a through_o our_o infirmity_n to_o curse_v than_o to_o bless_v they_o be_v under_o that_o call_v the_o ministration_n of_o condemnation_n 2_o cor._n 3._o the_o apostle_n that_o the_o offence_n may_v abound_v or_o appear_v indeed_o to_o be_v that_o which_o god_n do_v hate_n and_o also_o to_o curse_v for_o that_o which_o have_v be_v commit_v as_o he_o i_o say_v it_o do_v control_v they_o say_v this_o be_v not_o well_o do_v this_o be_v do_v by_o the_o half_n this_o be_v not_o do_v free_o and_o that_o be_v not_o do_v perfect_o and_o out_o of_o love_n to_o god_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o some_o man_n notwithstanding_o they_o labour_v to_o live_v as_o holy_a as_o ever_o they_o can_v according_a to_o the_o law_n yet_o they_o do_v not_o live_v a_o peaceable_a life_n but_o be_v full_a of_o condemning_n full_a of_o guilt_n and_o torment_n of_o conscience_n find_v themselves_o to_o fail_v here_o and_o to_o fall_v short_a there_o omit_v this_o good_a which_o the_o law_n command_v and_o do_v that_o evil_n which_o the_o law_n forbid_v but_o never_o give_v they_o one_o good_a word_n for_o all_o their_o pain_n four_o they_o that_o be_v under_o the_o law_n be_v in_o a_o sad_a condition_n because_o they_o be_v under_o that_o administration_n that_o will_v never_o be_v content_v with_o what_o be_v do_v by_o the_o sinner_n if_o thou_o be_v under_o this_o covenant_n work_v as_o hard_o as_o thou_o can_v the_o law_n will_v never_o say_v well_o do_v never_o say_v my_o good_a servant_n no_o but_o always_o it_o will_v be_v drive_v of_o thou_o fast_o hasten_v of_o thou_o hard_o give_v of_o thou_o fresh_a command_n which_o thou_o must_v do_v and_o upon_o pain_n of_o damnation_n not_o to_o be_v leave_v undo_v nay_o it_o be_v such_o a_o master_n that_o will_v curse_v thou_o not_o only_o for_o thy_o sin_n but_o also_o because_o thy_o good_a work_n be_v not_o so_o well_o do_v as_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v five_o they_o that_o be_v under_o this_o covenant_n or_o law_n their_o state_n be_v very_o sad_a because_o this_o law_n do_v command_v impossible_a thing_n of_o he_o that_o be_v under_o it_o and_o yet_o do_v but_o right_a in_o not_o possible_a say_v paul_n that_o any_o shall_v be_v justify_v by_o the_o law_n or_o by_o our_o follow_v of_o it_o for_o by_o that_o be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o sin_n and_o by_o it_o we_o be_v condemn_v for_o the_o same_o which_o be_v far_o from_o lead_v we_o to_o life_n be_v the_o ministration_n of_o death_n 2_o cor._n 3._o and_o again_o israel_n that_o follow_v after_o the_o law_n of_o administration_n that_o god_n do_v smile_v upon_o his_o child_n through_o be_v the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n they_o be_v in_o jesus_n christ_n the_o lord_n of_o life_n and_o consolation_n but_o contrariwise_o to_o those_o that_o be_v under_o the_o law_n for_o they_o have_v his_o frown_n his_o rebuke_n his_o threaten_n and_o with_o much_o severity_n they_o must_v be_v deal_v withal_o for_o they_o break_v my_o covenant_n and_o i_o regard_v they_o not_o say_v the_o lord_n heb._n 8._o 9_o nine_o they_o be_v in_o a_o sad_a condition_n because_o they_o be_v out_o of_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n they_o that_o be_v under_o the_o law_n have_v not_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o for_o that_o dispensation_n which_o they_o be_v under_o be_v not_o the_o administration_n of_o the_o law_n into_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n gospel_n without_o which_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o be_v find_v in_o that_o there_o be_v no_o soul_n can_v have_v the_o least_o hope_n of_o eternal_a life_n no_o joy_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n no_o share_n in_o the_o privilege_n of_o saint_n because_o they_o be_v tie_v up_o from_o they_o by_o the_o limit_n and_o bond_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n for_o you_o must_v understand_v that_o these_o two_o covenant_n have_v their_o several_a bound_n and_o limitation_n for_o the_o roll_a and_o keep_v in_o subjection_n or_o give_v of_o freedom_n to_o the_o party_n under_o the_o say_a covenant_n now_o they_o that_o be_v under_o the_o law_n be_v within_o the_o compass_n and_o the_o jurisdiction_n of_o that_o and_o be_v bind_v to_o be_v in_o subjection_n to_o that_o and_o live_v and_o die_v under_o that_o they_o must_v stand_v and_o fall_v to_o that_o as_o paul_n say_v to_o his_o own_o master_n he_o shall_v stand_v or_o fall_v the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n do_v admit_v to_o those_o that_o be_v under_o it_o also_o liberty_n and_o freedom_n together_o with_o command_v of_o subjection_n to_o the_o thing_n contain_v in_o it_o which_o i_o shall_v speak_v to_o further_a hereafter_o but_o now_o that_o the_o former_a thing_n may_v be_v further_o make_v to_o appear_v that_o be_v what_o the_o sad_a condition_n of_o all_o they_o that_o be_v under_o the_o law_n be_v as_o i_o have_v show_v you_o something_o of_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o law_n so_o also_o shall_v i_o show_v that_o the_o law_n be_v add_v and_o give_v for_o that_o purpose_n that_o it_o may_v be_v so_o with_o those_o that_o be_v out_o of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n first_o god_n do_v give_v the_o law_n that_o sin_n may_v abound_v rom._n 5._o
