not_o it_o may_v be_v some_o will_v say_v this_o be_v but_o a_o hector_n boisterous_a way_n of_o deal_n the_o author_n conclude_v his_o letter_n say_v to_o this_o person_n name_v one_o in_o this_o great_a city_n for_o who_o christ_n die_v not_o what_o be_v this_o to_o the_o purpose_n to_o prove_v universal_a redemption_n though_o christ_n do_v not_o die_v for_o all_o adam_n posterity_n and_o though_o there_o be_v in_o this_o city_n many_o ignorant_a and_o profane_a people_n yet_o it_o will_v be_v presumption_n to_o say_v of_o any_o particular_a person_n in_o this_o city_n yea_o in_o the_o whole_a world_n that_o christ_n do_v not_o die_v for_o that_o person_n except_o one_o know_v that_o the_o person_n have_v commit_v the_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o be_v a_o sin_n which_o few_o be_v guilty_a of_o and_o for_o such_o we_o be_v not_o to_o pray_v for_o they_o 1_o john_n 5.16_o but_o for_o any_o other_o particular_a person_n though_o for_o the_o present_a he_o be_v never_o so_o ignorant_a of_o god_n and_o abound_v in_o transgression_n who_o can_v say_v but_o that_o this_o person_n may_v be_v one_o of_o those_o that_o god_n have_v ordain_v to_o eternal_a life_n and_o that_o christ_n have_v die_v for_o and_o therefore_o we_o be_v to_o exhort_v they_o to_o repentance_n and_o pray_v for_o they_o and_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o they_o be_v such_o as_o god_n have_v choose_v to_o salvation_n and_o that_o christ_n have_v dye_v for_o they_o the_o lord_n will_v at_o one_o time_n or_o other_o before_o they_o die_v turn_v they_o from_o darkness_n unto_o light_n her_o child_n and_o she_o see_v this_o simple_a child_n run_v into_o a_o fire_n that_o will_v burn_v it_o to_o death_n and_o the_o mother_n can_v prevent_v it_o and_o pull_v the_o child_n back_o but_o hell-fire_n and_o he_o can_v stop_v they_o and_o save_v they_o and_o do_v not_o where_o be_v his_o love_n and_o desire_n to_o save_v they_o though_o i_o can_v remember_v the_o very_a word_n yet_o it_o be_v to_o this_o purpose_n that_o he_o bring_v in_o a_o objection_n he_o urge_v it_o very_o strong_o i_o think_v overrule_v by_o god_n to_o confute_v himself_o i_o wonder_v how_o he_o will_v answer_v the_o objection_n his_o answer_n be_v this_o what_o say_v he_o if_o i_o say_v god_n can_v that_o be_v that_o god_n can_v not_o convert_v they_o and_o so_o leave_v it_o to_o such_o absurdity_n and_o blasphemy_n do_v arminianism_n lead_v 2._o other_o of_o they_o say_v that_o god_n indeed_o can_v change_v the_o rebellious_a will_n of_o man_n but_o they_o allege_v two_o thing_n 1._o they_o say_v it_o be_v dishonourable_a to_o god_n to_o go_v any_o further_a for_o the_o conversion_n of_o a_o sinner_n than_o to_o set_v before_o he_o argument_n threaten_n and_o promise_n and_o urge_v these_o argument_n by_o inward_a conviction_n but_o they_o say_v it_o be_v not_o for_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n to_o put_v forth_o such_o irresistible_a power_n as_o shall_v infallible_o change_v and_o turn_v the_o heart_n to_o god_n i_o answer_v that_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o some_o absolute_o promise_v to_o the_o elect_n that_o which_o divine_n call_v the_o first_o grace_n jer._n 31._o heb._n 8._o i_o will_v put_v my_o fear_n in_o their_o heart_n i_o will_v write_v my_o law_n in_o their_o heart_n ezek._n 36.26_o 27._o a_o new_a heart_n also_o will_v i_o give_v you_o a_o new_a spirit_n i_o to_o a_o right_a mind_n sure_o this_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v dishonourable_a to_o god_n that_o the_o elect_n and_o ransom_v people_n shall_v adore_v he_o and_o praise_v he_o for_o ever_o for_o this_o great_a free_a and_o undeserved_a grace_n to_o they_o 2._o they_o say_v it_o be_v dishonourable_a to_o the_o will_n of_o man_n yea_o impossible_a for_o the_o will_n of_o man_n to_o be_v force_v therefore_o they_o say_v that_o all_o that_o god_n do_v towards_o the_o conversion_n of_o any_o be_v by_o moral_a suasion_n and_o urge_v argument_n to_o this_o great_a queen_n the_o will_n of_o man_n not_o save_v man_n whether_o they_o will_v or_o no_o page_n 22._o i_o say_v this_o be_v a_o very_a ignorant_a speech_n and_o show_v the_o author_n to_o be_v little_o acquaint_v with_o the_o scripture_n or_o the_o corruption_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n for_o though_o man_n when_o they_o hear_v of_o hell_n and_o damnation_n will_v be_v save_v from_o misery_n yet_o there_o be_v not_o any_o one_o that_o will_v be_v save_v in_o the_o way_n that_o god_n have_v appoint_v until_o god_n by_o his_o immediate_a hand_n do_v secret_o touch_v and_o change_v his_o will_n i._n e._n that_o though_o all_o will_v be_v save_v from_o hell_n under_o the_o notion_n of_o a_o state_n of_o misery_n yet_o till_o god_n give_v special_a grace_n a_o new_a heart_n put_v a_o new_a bent_n upon_o the_o will_n
