they_o ought_v but_o that_o former_a sentence_n be_v also_o include_v in_o this_o general_a sentence_n that_o he_o be_v not_o bind_v to_o satan_n in_o die_v the_o death_n whence_o we_o
because_o he_o fear_v the_o punishment_n of_o sacrilege_n if_o he_o shall_v lay_v hand_n on_o the_o son_n of_o god_n we_o must_v note_v that_o when_o he_o ask_v whence_o christ_n be_v he_o require_v not_o of_o his_o country_n but_o that_o this_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v be_v thou_o a_o man_n bear_v in_o the_o earth_n or_o some_o god_n therefore_o i_o expound_v this_o person_n upon_o he_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o he_o abstain_v from_o defend_v himself_o and_o yet_o christ_n silence_n disagree_v not_o with_o the_o say_n of_o paul_n 1._o tim._n 6._o 13._o where_o he_o say_v remember_v that_o christ_n under_o pontius_n pilate_n witness_v a_o good_a confession_n for_o he_o have_v defend_v the_o credit_n of_o the_o gospel_n so_o much_o as_o be_v sufficient_a neither_o be_v his_o death_n any_o thing_n else_o but_o a_o feeling_n of_o y_fw-es â—_o doctrine_n which_o he_o have_v teach_v therefore_o christ_n do_v not_o fail_v to_o make_v a_o to_o death_n wicked_a conscience_n must_v needs_o rage_v after_o this_o sort_n where_o faith_n and_o the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n do_v not_o reign_v and_o diverse_a affection_n of_o the_o flesh_n must_v needs_o strive_v amongst_o themselves_o there_o god_n do_v notable_o avenge_v himself_o by_o this_o mean_n of_o man_n pride_n when_o they_o pass_v their_o bound_n that_o they_o may_v usurp_v to_o themselves_o infinite_a power_n condemn_v themselves_o of_o their_o own_o accord_n of_o unrighteousness_n they_o slander_v and_o put_v themselves_o to_o great_a rebuke_n wherefore_o no_o blindness_n be_v comparable_a to_o the_o blindness_n of_o pride_n and_o it_o be_v no_o marvel_n see_v that_o it_o seal_v the_o revenge_a hand_n of_o god_n against_o which_o it_o run_v headlong_o wherefore_o let_v we_o remember_v that_o we_o must_v not_o rash_o triumph_v in_o vain_a boasting_n lest_o we_o be_v ridiculous_a especial_o let_v those_o who_o be_v place_v in_o high_a degree_n because_o he_o extoll_v himself_o as_o if_o his_o power_n be_v not_o of_o god_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v thou_o take_v all_o thing_n to_o thyself_o as_o if_o thou_o shall_v not_o once_o give_v a_o account_n to_o god_n but_o thou_o be_v not_o make_v a_o judge_n without_o his_o providence_n think_v therefore_o that_o his_o heavenly_a seat_n and_o throne_n be_v high_a than_o thou_o there_o can_v no_o fit_a admonition_n be_v invent_v to_o beat_v down_o their_o outrage_n who_o govern_v other_o man_n lest_o they_o abuse_v their_o authority_n the_o father_n think_v that_o he_o may_v make_v more_o grievous_a and_o less_o excusable_a by_o this_o circumstance_n because_o they_o enforce_v the_o government_n ordain_v by_o god_n to_o serve_v for_o their_o pleasure_n for_o it_o be_v great_a sacrilege_n to_o abuse_v the_o holy_a ordinance_n of_o god_n unto_o all_o manner_n of_o wickedness_n that_o murder_n be_v just_o to_o be_v detest_v who_o slea_v the_o miserable_a traveller_n with_o his_o own_o hand_n but_o he_o that_o put_v the_o innocent_a to_o death_n under_o colour_n of_o judgement_n he_o be_v more_o wicked_a but_o he_o do_v not_o amplify_v their_o fault_n that_o he_o may_v mitigate_v pilate_n neither_o do_v he_o compare_v he_o with_o they_o but_o he_o do_v rather_o make_v they_o all_o guilty_a of_o one_o crime_n because_o they_o do_v all_o pollute_v the_o holy_a
