the_o promise_n which_o be_v heaven_n god_n have_v provide_v some_o better_a thing_n for_o we_o that_o they_o without_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v make_v perfect_a but_o the_o common_a objection_n and_o deceit_n against_o this_o which_o take_v so_o much_o be_v that_o christ_n have_v satisfy_v god_n justice_n for_o our_o sin_n what_o need_v we_o do_v any_o thing_n at_o all_o and_o this_o be_v the_o usual_a juggle_n of_o those_o that_o teach_v against_o this_o point_n of_o satisfaction_n but_o we_o be_v to_o consider_v how_o far_o christ_n satisfaction_n extend_v to_o we_o that_o be_v he_o die_v for_o the_o pardon_n of_o our_o original_a sin_n and_o not_o for_o our_o actual_a transgression_n though_o they_o be_v the_o easy_a pardon_v by_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o death_n too_o for_o if_o all_o our_o actual_a sin_n be_v pardon_v and_o satisfy_v for_o by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n why_o then_o all_o heathen_n and_o turk_n and_o whoremonger_n and_o murderer_n and_o blasphemer_n shall_v be_v save_v which_o saint_n paul_n say_v shall_v never_o enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n so_o that_o this_o be_v but_o a_o trick_n of_o our_o adversary_n make_v the_o people_n much_o upon_o hhis_n mercy_n lest_o we_o fall_v into_o a_o provocation_n of_o his_o justice_n and_o so_o perish_v everlasting_o and_o since_o it_o be_v so_o plain_a both_o by_o holy_a scripture_n and_o reason_n that_o there_o be_v a_o purge_a place_n or_o temporal_a punishment_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v proportionable_a to_o every_o one_o sin_n let_v every_o man_n consider_v what_o obligation_n he_o have_v first_o to_o believe_v it_o to_o be_v so_o second_o to_o live_v so_o holy_o in_o this_o life_n that_o god_n may_v be_v please_v to_o spare_v we_o by_o extenuate_v our_o say_v before_o there_o be_v no_o redemption_n for_o they_o what_o other_o thing_n can_v be_v conclude_v but_o that_o he_o go_v to_o release_v they_o which_o can_v not_o be_v save_v till_o then_o for_o be_v it_o not_o madness_n to_o think_v that_o any_o people_n go_v to_o heaven_n before_o christ_n have_v redeem_v they_o with_o his_o precious_a blood_n next_o you_o shall_v see_v what_o st._n peter_n say_v concern_v this_o point_n 19_o 1_o pet._n 3._o ver._n 18._o ver._n 19_o for_o christ_n also_o have_v once_o suffer_v for_o sin_n the_o just_a for_o the_o unjust_a that_o he_o may_v bring_v we_o we_o the_o different_a sort_n of_o work_n by_o the_o similitude_n of_o gold_n silver_n precious_a stone_n wood_n hay_o stubble_n and_o then_o how_o this_o fire_n shall_v try_v they_o for_o say_v he_o every_o man_n work_n shall_v be_v make_v manifest_a and_o the_o day_n of_o our_o lord_n shall_v declare_v it_o because_o it_o shall_v be_v reveal_v by_o fire_n and_o the_o fire_n shall_v try_v every_o be_v good_a and_o holy_a and_o spare_v we_o that_o have_v much_o more_o deserve_v it_o but_o now_o again_o to_o the_o scripture_n to_o let_v you_o see_v what_o our_o saviour_n say_v concern_v pay_v he_o in_o the_o death_n of_o his_o son_n for_o we_o will_v give_v more_o power_n to_o the_o devil_n to_o work_v our_o destruction_n than_o he_o do_v to_o the_o good_a angel_n which_o desire_v and_o
